Waiter couldn’t crack a smile the entire time. Seemingly like they’re rushing you out. Then forbids you from taking the naan out of the restaurant, calling you out in front of the whole restaurant. It shocks me when people are so entitled to business. Never coming back or spending another dollar here again. Bad people all around. Food was marginal to boot.

Driving down Westwood looking through Unilocal to find Indian. Saw this place had 4.5 stars and went in. When I went to check in on Unilocal realized it was 3.5 stars and we were looking at an ad of restaurant with similar name that had higher rating. Glad we came in though, definitely not a 3.5 star place. Can’t judge a book by its rating right? For the price and taste this is definitely worth every penny, at least for the buffet. Food tastes more authentic Indian than American Indian and the buffet has just the right amount of tasty choices. We go to buffets not to stuff our selves but to make life easier. We get to try a little of everything and not have to worry about that one dish we couldn’t try. And at less than $ 9 for AYCE that’s not just fillers or funky tasting, this place is a 4.5. Try their lunch buffet!

Delivery was VERYVERY late and the owner was very rude and unapologetic. Even without touching the food, it already ruined my dinner. AVOIDDELIVERY

I’ve ordered take-out from here three times. The first two times were fine – nothing amazing, nothing bad – but the last time, I ordered the Sheesh Kebab and it was literally inedible. Looked like cat food with some seasoning put in it and then baked into a hard log. I couldn’t eat the other parts of my meal because I was so grossed out. Other than that, the chicken tikka masala, samosas, and paneer dishes have been good, but their naan is on the dry/thin side.

Great fast Indian food fix! Everything is fresh and they give so much hot naan. My favorite is the spinach and tikka masala. I work near by, so it’s nice to know I can get tasty food quick. Also, their buffet special is less than $ 10. Try one of their birayanis made to order. It’ll amaze you!

After tennis on Tuesday’s I love to stop by for their lunch buffet. As someone who’s been to India, I can say that the food here at India’s Oven is not only authentic but absolutely delicious! With several options for Indian food in the area, this little restaurant stacks up with the best of them

Terrible. I tossed my whole order in the trash. Got Tikka and only the rice was decent. Nann was heavy and not fresh.

Always great food. The standard Indian and some exotic stuff too. Reasonable prices. Fast. Easy to order online. Great vegetarian items for those that care about that. Nice people.

We just moved from Santa Monica to Century City and are already so excited that we have such an amazing upgrade in our local Indian place. You have to get the samosas; they’re massive and delicious. Everything we’ve had here is great. We highly recommend the lamb vindaloo, chicken saagwala, and baingan bartha – classic Indian staples done just right. The place is nice, quiet, and small with the owner(who is adorable) waiting on you when you come in. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are big enough you’ll definitely have leftovers for the next day. If haven’t tried this little Indian gem hiding amongst all the Mediterranean and Persian food on Westwood, you absolutely should.

The service is nice, and the restaurant is clean. I liked the food, especially for the price of the lunch buffet which you can’t beat! $ 8.95 buffet for lunch is awesome. The naan was yummy, I just wish they had some sort of spicy sauce, although I couldn’t find any. I’d come back for sure.

Food is decent. Not stunning, but overall pretty good. They have good samosas, and Aloo Ghobi. Saag paneer was a little runny, naan was a little over cooked

I have enjoyed this buffet several times. It is the best in town. Every day is just as good as the next. All of their dishes are delicious.

At first glance, it looks like a local café instead of an Indian restaurant. We were also the only ones there which made us even more nervous but decided to give them a try. Had a vegetable samosa because we checked into Unilocal, thanks Unilocal, and it was good. Didn’t leave me longing for it but if you like them, def give it a try. We order two combination plates, chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. The lamb was tender, flavorful, and just right amount of heat. The chicken was very chunky, soft and tasty. You can taste the home cooking with those dishes and we look forward to trying others soon. We both ordered the garlic naan and they didn’t skimp out on the amount of naan they give. But the highlight of it all was the home made chutney’s…especially the mint. We put that on everything lol. The only thing lacking was how short staffed they were… and we were the only ones there. Server didn’t have a chance to see how our good was or bring water refills. Recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

This is my favorite Indian buffet I’ve been to, based on the food alone. It looks like a small buffet, but it’s actually quite big. They have more entrees available than most Indian buffets I’ve been to, and each one is made so well, with delicious flavor. Consistently delicious. Definitely ask for the hot sauce and the chutneys to add to your food, they make the food taste even better than it already does. My only complaint is that the ambiance could be better, it could look nicer and be more comfortable… But, the service is good and the food is great.

Solid place. Ordered a lamb and chicken biryani with my dad. I had the lamb. It was pretty good food. Naan was good too. I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve had but it was ok. It’s as if the rice was mixed with the biryani. It had full color, which too my knowledge, is the incorrect way of having biryani. A proper place I want too once cooks the biryani under the rice and when you receive your order, It’s white rice on top of the biryani. Then when you mix the biryani with the rice, all the ingredients mix and give the color to the rice.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Los Angeles… The Chicken Tikka Masala is delicious as well as the Lamb Vindaloo. The best time to go is for lunchtime monday-saturday from 11:30 — 2:30 when they have the lunch buffet for $ 8.95. Theres always tikka masala, tandoori chicken, rice, raita, naan, salad, and a variety of vegetarian dishes that include peas, green beans, potatoes, carrots, eggplant, and tofu. GREATFORVEGETARIANSTOO. The employes are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is always peaceful and enjoyable

This is a to go review! We live walking distance from this location. My husband got his usual chicken tikka masala and I got a samosa(my second dinner). He loved his chicken tikka masala – had white meat even though he didn’t pay the two dollars extra for white meat. It needed to be spicier even though he asked for it to be on the spiciest level. It came as a huge portion! We were impressed. The samosas were 4 dollars and came with two. They were not that big and were decently good. Probably wouldn’t get them again. The place itself looks cozy. What we saw of the buffet looked small. We will check it one day and report back!
