Very greedy with the order of fries I received. They only put fries on half of the plate! Normally at other Ihop restaurants they fill up the ENTIREPLATEANDSTACKITWITHFRIES. I was very disappointed. I could have bought yummier fries somewhere else for a lot less money!

Simple formula: (bad + cold) food + slow service = bad tip + bad review Sorry, I am an engineer and somewhat of a dork.

First let me start by saying The cashier Arianna was terrible, she did not greet us when walking in or ask us how many were to be seated. I said good morning and she didn’t even respond but just looked at me. After being seated our waitress shortly took our order(I can’t remember her name) but she was pretty nice and the food was very good hence the 3 stars I have given. So overall this place earns 3 stars but please improve on customer service.

I was eating breakfast with my mom and a roach crawled onto our table. Plus, the food was not as good as it used to be.

What happened to this place??? My family of 5(3 kids under 8) walked in, were seated, given drinks and then… CRICKETS! We sat there twiddling our thumbs for 20 minutes(yes, you read that right… TWENTYMINUTES) before someone came over to take our order. I asked if she was the only server and she said yes, because the only other server didn’t come in an hour ago. Meanwhile, the hosts just kept shuffling in more guests and not once did they offer to help the ONE server that’s now obviously overwhelmed! I hurt that it’s «Not their job» but come on! The decent thing to do is help! Wait, managers are supposed to step in when this happens, right? NOPE!!! The guy kept peeking his head out from behind the office door only to cower back in quickly without offering ANY assistance. If it wasn’t for the fact that my kids are dying for their funny face pancakes, we would have blown this joint when we realized no one was coming to get our order(like 3 other tables did!). IF — and that’s a BIGIF, we ever come back, I will only pass the hosts if I can confirm there are more than just one server! Today is Sunday @ 5:27pm. We walked in at 4:48pm and we STILLHAVENOFOOD!!!

I went here on a Monday afternoon and it was busy, but I did not wait long. I was visiting LA and hungry after the plane ride. The clerk at Enterprise suggested I go here and not Denny’s. Anyway, my pancakes were cold. I sent them back. Then they were hot & rubbery. IHOP is the same everywhere, but I liked that they serve chocolate milk here.

Everyone was hungry so we got dressed and headed to the nearest IHOP. You have to expect the usual Sunday morning breakfast crowd… which was okay. We sat and watched three other tables that were sat after us receive their food first. When we called attention to it our waitress finally noticed that she had served others but not our table. I don’t expect much but damn can I get my food.

Meh Since the Cocos closed, we needed a new breakfast stop when we do early LAX drop offs on Saturday mornings around 9 am. Last time it was Marie calendars… Yum. This time: IHOP Hostess greeted us right away. Wait was ten minutes. This place is NOISY. Seated at a a table. Waiter Cesar. Very nice guy. Coffee and OJ and took our order: Swedish crepes, omelette with cheese, spinach, mushroom and tomato topped with hollandaise. This crepes were pretty good and familiar as I get them a lot at various Ihops. Omelette was odd. More like«scrambled eggs with all those extra things described on the menu mixed in and dried reconstituted hollandaise on top.» Meh. Burned rye toast. Place is tidy but worn out. They should shut it down for a day and clean it. Oddly there’s a tv up in a ceiling corner with the closed captioning on. Pirates of the Caribbean was showing. Still, we will probably go back. Why? Not horrible food and service was great. It’s also convenient and since cocos is gone we are low on options.

The service was poor and the establishment was dirty and worn. First off, nobody greeted us when we arrived. No «welcome», no «how many in your party», nothing. That was strike one. We were seated rather quickly considering how busy it was, which made me happy. Then we actually got to put table… the floor was filthy, half of the booth was dirty with breadcrumbs, and there was a huge hole in the booth that had been partially taped up with duct tape. Let’s not stop the fun though. We sat on the«clean» portion of booth and the waitress took out orders. They brought my father out the wrong set of pancakes and left my 5 year old daughter’s food in the back. I flagged down our waitress and another waitress and told them about the missing food for my hungry daughter, they brought her food out with zero apologies. The food was subpar, overall. I will NOT be going back.

I was hungry and this was the only thing around. My sisters food was cold and my cheese on my omelette was not melted it was cold, my toast was cold too. But the waiter gave me new toast. This is the worst IHOP I’ve been too. I give it a two cus the one waiter was nice about my toast. Any way, one of our spoons were dirty. Never coming here again. I told the other waiter about how I felt about the food and I didn’t want it, she did offer other options but I told her I didn’t want nothing, she tried to please me which was nice but, I just didn’t like the food, it wasn’t IHOP, it was INOT. I actually returned my food because everything was cold. And to top it off their rye bread is not the same like the other IHop’s … I just couldn’t bare to eat the food. I just settled for the peanut butter and jelly sandwich I had in my bag

If there was a rating for no stars I’d take it. Been here for over an hour and the service is horrible. Had to send my hash browns back 3 times and they were still inedible! Cold, half cooked, then burnt. Two tables came in after me, were served, and left by the time my order was complete. THEYAREN’T EVENBUSY!!! Main thing that bothered me… they gave me a check! $ 14 for shitty food that I didn’t even eat. Really IHOP? Really!?! The manager came over but wasn’t much help. I won’t be coming here again.

Ambience: C Cleanliness: B Customer Service: F Food: D Overall Rating: F Price –Its IHOP prices, it’s certainly one of the cheaper LA options for breakfast so can’t complain here. Atmosphere –Typical IHOP, bit larger than most of the ones I’ve been to. Keep fairly clean, not a whole lot to complain about. Customer Service –Not good would be to nice, more like not even present. It took nearly an hour for the food to come, without any explanation for why. When the food did eventually come, two of three people sitting at the table had been given the wrong order. It took another ten minutes to flag the waitress down so she could fix the order(which was done with an attitude). When we became frustrated and asked for a manger, the woman at the front desk rolled her eyes at us before eventually going to getting him. It was not a very customer friendly experience at all. Food –We were a party of three and it had all come out cold(which was suspect, considering how long we waited for the order). My blueberries were frozen solid, as were my friends strawberries. It just wasn’t good at all. Overall –Ihop is Ihop, you don’t go for five star dining but it’s meant to be comfort food and there was nothing comforting about my experience.

How is it that a restaurant ran out of bacon. Manager Adriana told her server she was too busy to speak to patrons. We have been waiting for our food for 1 ½ hours for pancakes. Wow

Worst IHOP I have ever been to. Waited 45 minutes for my food. Waitress’ didn’t even check up on us. Brought out the wrong order AND our food is cold while forgetting to bring out some food that we previously ordered… DONOTGOHERE.

I ordered to-go but gave them an extra star because when I got there on a Sat at 9am there was no line, which is unheard of in my neck of the woods(NY). OK, so let’s discuss some things because I’m still giving them the side eye for mess they call food. I always love IHOPs pancakes, the cloud of soggy fluff they gave me was disgusting! I also ordered a side of bacon for $ 3.49, which was fine by me, until I opened up the box and it was 2 pieces of bacon that look like matchsticks!!! In the future IHOP my @#$ to Denny’s!

I stopped in here after a very late party. The server was nice and the food came quickly… but the server put the check down like 10 minutes after I had been served and then ignored me the rest of the time I was in the restaurant. No drink refills, nada. Um…it was 4am. The place was nearly empty. If I had wanted fast food and had wanted to shove four pancakes down my throat in ten minutes I would not have come to a sit-down restaurant. I still tipped because I am not a jerk but I really shouldn’t have, because that was bullshit.

I’ve eaten here numerous times. This was the most disappointing dinning experience. The flow of service was chaotic. Also, please explain to me how a major breakfast chain run out of coffee creamer? This was not the breakfast I was planning for!

I only visit IHOP when its like 1am in the morning and there’s no other late night food options available and I am starving… why? Because both the service and the food are below mediocre. I hate that I have a keen eye for dirt so after being seated, my eyes went directly to the booth across from our table and it was immediately made clear to me that the fabric that covered the seat was not on anyone’s radar… I doubt that anyone has ever attempted cleaning the booths, wiping it down with a clean cloth, soap and water. I don’t understand why public places choose carpet as an option for flooring. BAD, BADIDEA!!! It is never a good idea unless you plan on thoroughly cleaning the carpet including frequent steam cleaning and vacuuming. Considering this place is open 24/7, I don’t think they ever considered closing a certain area of the restaurant each day to have it vacuum and steam cleaned occasionally. Of course not, it’s all about the Benjamins… not all about the cleaning. I didn’t expect much for the food and I’m glad I didn’t…just mediocre. Something to put in my stomach so it can stop talking to me. Is cleanliness so high of a standard that only a small handful of restaurants and businesses ever master? I just think it should be the norm…
