Worst service and staff ever. Went in to ask if they were going to put on the Sunday games because they had TVs on a movie. The guy behind the bar couldn’t speak or understand English and began to say no not right now. That wasn’t my question and when I went to sit down he and a gentleman at the bar proceeded to say I’m stupid and it’s not ten. I’m not stupid. Just people don’t know how to speak English in America. Incompetence strikes again.

Whoever thought about putting bars in airport terminals was a genius, but whoever thought about putting a home Turf in terminal 1 at lax didn’t think things all the way through. The place is pretty darn small, and when we got here it was crrrrrramped. Everyone was waiting for a table and some people were just standing with their drinks. Makes for good mingling tho, a lot of folks were just sharing tables and chatting it up. We got lucky and got a table pretty quick, timing I guess ehehehe. Can’t go wrong with beer at the airport, ‘Cept maybe the price hehe Great service, and decent beers on tap, they have some happy hour specials and lastly, their food items are from cpk, another plus.

Good for the fly. Cold salads, drinks and a place to sit with sports TV. Not going to win any awards, but when you travel and need a place to kill a layover it works perfectly.

I advise you to pass this bar., I asked for a gray goose lemon drop martini I watched him pour Tito’s vodka. I asked him this was not the vodka I ordered he insisted it was even though I told him I saw him pour Tito’s. I paid and left the drink. Before it arrived I saw 2 baby bugs on the counter. This place should be closed down. Lajuan

This place is definitely pretty lacking in all aspect: drinks, food and service. Their drinks whether its wine, beer or cocktails are very limited and are overpriced, bur you’d expect that from an airport. I’ve gotten a glass of wine with them several times. Last time I had gone, the actual price of my wine shown on the menu didnt match what is charged by the system. Menu showed $ 9 but I was charged $ 11. The waitress did not inform me of the price inconsistency either when I ordered, and threw a fit when I asked why there was an inconsistency. Would have been nice if they had communicated that to me first. I wouldnt recommend this place if I could, but you really dont have many choices in Terminal 1. Unfortunately for those of us travelling out of Southwest LAX Terminal 1, this is one of the two places you can get drinks.

This place sucks. They have like 4 things on the menu and they were out of 2 of them, my food came in a plastic to go box. The service was extremely slow even though the place was empty

Its a sports bar people, not a restaurant. They’ve got the alcohol and a couple 32″ TV’s, so you can watch the game and have a brew to get relaxed enough to make it easier to be herded into a southwest plane with all the other cows. its located deep in the terminal so that the alcoholics can drink to the last minute and dash onto their flight home. If you want to eat, turn back and go to Camacho’s. they have real food. Helpers giving bad reviews because of the food are idiots. In the 1 hour I have sat here, I’ve heard the bartenders tell 5 customers that if they want hot or good food, to go to the Mexican place(Camacho’s). Really, the only reason to come here is to get a head change before the torture that lies ahead.

Food is prepackaged crap. I ordered edamame and it wasn’t even heated or salted. Good for a drink but avoid the sad food at all costs. Very disappointing.

I have a 6+ hour flight. I really hope eating here isn’t going to have me in the airplane bathroom the whole time. :( At least the service was good. Food was just dreadful.

Horrible. One guy ended up yelling at the staff because he was frustrated. We ordered food but finally asked for the check because we were worried about missing our flight. Luckily, she hadn’t put the order in…

Small sports bar in the Southwest wing of LAX. It had a very limited menu and the prices were high(duh…its an airport) but it was just what I needed to finish up some homeowork and grab a drink to quell my pre-flight jitters. The bartender was fast and friendly.

Sat at the bar before my flight out. The service was decent but I could see the people at the tables getting a little frustrated from waiting. The food was«meh» at best since all they do is grab the food from the fridge and open the lid to the plastic container. It would’ve been nice to see the food on a plate instead of the togo containers… For a quick eats in the airport at the bar its not bad but I wouldn’t come back here if I wanted a real sit down restaurant experience.

Quality ingredients in the Bloody Mary and screwdriver, so points for that. But $ 19.50 for two singles? That’s a bit steep, even for an airport bar. Pre– flight next time, literally.

The food was fair, the prices are good, Our server was exceptional. The décor was sports stuff that I would have been excited to see in 1993…(A signed Rick Mirer jersey?)

Good bar tender, tasty Bellini try the strawberry one. Sports center on TV to get the scores on all your games. No lines compared to the walk up food locations. Very sad food selection only 3 sandwiches and 3 salads but at least no wait.

Service sucks! Does not even deserve one star. Food is prepackaged. Ugh

I know it’s the airport and all, but meh. Was hungry before a flight to Seattle and decided to grab a quick bite here. The food is affiliated with California Pizza Kitchen, but everything’s pre-made and pre-packaged, hence my refrigerator-cold turkey club sandwich, which took an inordinate amount of time to get to me, I might add. It was busy and I felt bad for our harried and sweaty waiter, but how long could it take to bring out a refrigerated package sandwich? Oh well, at least they couldn’t screw up the beer.

Ah, Airport Food. Yes, now I remember this place. As you are trapped at the airport and don’t have much choice if you want to drink close to your gate this is it. I had the chips and salsa — nothing special. It is all prepackaged shrink wrap food. The staff is friendly and quick to get your drinks and check. There are TVs here so you can watch sports. Again, you are at the airport, what do you expect?

I do not recommend unless all you want to do is rest your weary traveling bones and have a drink while your waiting to board your flight. Sports, not really. Food, no. Rather food, hell no. Terminal 1 doesn’t have a whole lot of good choices, in fact, my least favorite at LAX. They have quite a few small TV’s, but no sound. Boo. They have drinks, plenty of it and at high airport prices — yay! They call it food, but do you call it delicious if it’s either warmed up via microwave(nachos/hot dogs), or pre-packaged(salads, sushi)? Um, no. Home Turf Sports Bar, seriously, is this the best you can offer? No wings. No pizza. No sound. Come on now. Sounds like a 1 star? Saving it from the poopie category — a super nice server, and the dog(the wiener) itself was a really good quality all-beef, but ruined in presentation of the«hot dog» as it’s served with little packets of relish, mustard, ketchup) and a pre-heated and now cold and crispy bun. Service and friendly environment gets a very generous rounding up from 1 to 2 stars.

Perhaps not the worst airport food I’ve seen(close though), but the most disappointing experience. It appears to be a ‘sports bar’ in an airport… perfect, right? WRONG, all wrong. Prepackaged, stale meals. Fairly uncomfortable seating(the better to get you out the door with, my dear). Service is mediocre, although a man seated at a table nearby who eats there weekly(WHY, oh WHY!!!) was treated well. Not a lot of options in this area, but this is one I’d skip for sure. Two stars only because it’s clean, although the ‘tempting’ electrical outlets do not work.
