When I needed an affordable hair and makeup artist for a video shoot, I did my research and fell in love with CJ’s work. He really knows how to capture an individual’s best beauty look. I appreciated his intuitive insights throughout our 2 hour session. He made recommendations for upping my hair game and created an edgy chic look to match my brand and image. Plus, he was a doll to work with. Smart, funny, and fun. Thank you, CJ!

I made an appointment with CJ after seeing the amazing job he did on my cousins. He totally listened and paid attention to the look I wanted for my makeup and it came out better than I could have hoped for. The airbrush method lasted for the whole day and I received so many compliments at my event. Totally recommended!

To trust someone that you don’t know to make you feel like your true self– it’s hard! However after our 1^st consultation I felt that CJ understood who I am as a person! Today was my trial run to see if he fully understood and HE DID down to MY this and that! Thank you CJ for putting up with my hectic schedule but more the MY WAY attitude of mine! I called in very last minute to inquire about an appointment after finding this studio on Unilocal.CJ was so helpful and though the schedule was jam packed for Sunday, he made me his very first appointment for makeup only. I needed a flawless fresh look for my engagement photo shoot. I had never met him a day in my life, so all I had was Unilocal reviews to trust. I arrived for my 9am appointment, and CJ greeted me warmly and there was Xmas music playing. Just he and I. Normally I would be frightened to go in so blindly for a makeup appointment. But he just had such a confident and cool collected vibe. I showed him some pictures of fresh natural looking glowing make up. He said okay, and the magic started. I didnt take any color recommendations at all, he chose everything to pure perfection. I looked radiant and natural. He enhanced every angle of my already beautiful face and accented my best features. I wear foundation maybe a handful of times per year. So makeup is not my go to. But for this, I now have my top choice for my wedding day. Excellent execution from a blind appointment with no pre– trial. Thank you CJ. I will definitely be in touch. Joomee is ultimately the best esthetician who has the knowledge & unique Japanese techniques of what each individual skin really needs. she’s honest with your skin needs & what you should eliminate from your skin régime. She’s truly an exceptional est. with high knowledge of what she apply to your skin & how it should be applied. I love getting facials by Joomee, her magical fingers massaging my face is truly spectacular & one of a kind. Now I found glow with Joomee’s Facial touch:-)

Great class today with CJ! I’m excited to practice and get these skills to work. CJ was so easy to understand and his class was comprehensive. I’m thinking about possibly taking another course.

My wife and I hired CJ and his team to do our hair and make-​up for our wedding, as well as our bridal party’s hair and make-​up. We have nothing but AMAZING things to say; CJ is incredibly talented and we were over-​the-​moon happy with how we both looked! He was incredibly professional and we feel so lucky we found him. My experience here is AWESOME!!! My review is about the certificate class that CAMMUA makeupschool offered. Glad that i took the certification class for the duration of 5 days it covers everything i i learned a lot. CJ Jetphukthai is amazing, he is very cool easy to get a long with but very very serious in teaching his students… Its just me who is never serious hahahahha… Cj’s studio is very cleaned and organized. Me as a MUA a self taught MUA. i still wanna grow and learn more. Thats why no regret that i came to CAMMUA in Hollywood. From basic techniques in makeup application, mixing foundation, airbrush dang i have a lot… I will definitely come back here. So there i highly recommend CJ. Go and visit his studio and for any makeup services in los angels. As well as makeup artistry class… THANKS AGAIN CJ FOR BEING AWESOME… — does it make sense?- lol i missed his line…
