Great little chicken place that also serves those little fish bean fried cakes. Chicken wings are awesome, super crunchy and very large. Worthy!

This place always serves a good quality of food with reasonable prices. I’ve come here since 2008 and the taste never changes. Although there is nowhere to sit because it’s inside the market, I still love this place. They don’t have a variety of sauces like other spots, but chicken itself is good enough. They also have red bean pastry, which is called Boong-uh-bbang in Korean, that is my all time favorite as well.

I have been coming here for about ten years now and still is the same in terms of quality. Chicken is seriously good, all my American friends want this chicken all the freaking time. They say it is on par or perhaps even better than most famous chicken places such as Kyochon. Food is priced reasonably, and dare I say cheap! Get the chicken wings! And the Fish bread!

Been coming here since I was a kid a very long long time ago. Always have and always will like the chicken here. Food: It’s fried as you order so it’s always sizzling hot. The smell is different than you typical friend chicken and so is the taste. It leaves a smell behind but don’t let that get you. Maybe it’s because I had it as a kid so the memories of it but I am and will always be a fan of this place. I’ve tried the red bean fish-looking bread, the sweet potato and of course the chicken. All very good. The sweetened radish with the hot sauce and the chicken. CHICKENCHICKENCHICKEN! I am craving this right now. Customer Service, Atmosphere and Parking: Just usually 2 korean ladies doing the cooking in the back of the market. Parking is simple as it is the markets parking lot. Prices: Prices have gone up a bit. But worth a try. They have a small, medium and large size. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Not exactly the same from what I remember and they have gotten a little greedy or maybe the ingredient prices went up?

This is a nice grocery specializing in Korean food. They also have a place at the back end that sells fried chicken wings which is absolutely delicious. The kimchi rice is one of their smaller stalls are also nice

4 stars for the best red bean fishes in ktown! I don’t care what anybody says… It’s crispy and salty sweet not to mention they’re HUGE. 6 for $ 5 and if you’re lucky the lady will throw in a couple more(if you buy at least $ 10 worth). –1 for cash only… come on now, it’s time to accept CC’s. These fish are better than the ones at Zion market for sure. They are less moist and so crunchy. They bring me back to street treats in Korea.

This place is so awesome. I have been coming here for over 15 years. This place never fails me they have a very unique and crispy taste on their chicken. Their chicken wings make such a great party platter. An advice for this place is to order first or by phone then go get your groceries. For small orders, they should have it done by the time you are done shopping.

Just plain good chicken. The only thing that bugged me was that they were late: they specifically asked me what time I wanted to pick up my order and I said 3, but when I got there it took 15 minutes to actually have the chicken in my hands. That’s what you get for dealing with Koreans though — we go by our own time/clock. However, like I said it’s good chicken — light and not heavy — so I’d definitely go back.

This will be a short review… Place is located inside HK Market, towards the back of the market. We came here after dinner to walk around and pick up some fruit. Then I noticed this tiny little place in the back of the market. It was so fun watching the Korean lady make the red bean sweet breads shaped as a fish. I used to eat these as a kid, never knew where my parents got them. They also have fried chicken, they are similar to Chinese fried chicken. They do not prepare till you have ordered and paid. Menu is pretty simple, they only have 4 items and the place is packed. Stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.

Wow. I’ve been shopping at HK market for years, and I never tried this Korean fried chicken joint, and I’M KICKINGMYSELFBECAUSEIT’S INCREDIBLE! Double fried crisp skin, juicy interior, seasoning totally on point. I catered a large potluck and got the 125 drumstick platter and it was a huge hit, vanishing almost as soon as I pulled off the tin foil. You won’t regret giving this place a try!

Been to the market several times but never really tried this place. Has given the task to get wings for the Super Bowl. Kyochon was closed so I figured I should try this place. Price wise it’s cheaper than Kyochon, you can get 7 pieces for $ 6. The chicks smells pretty good fresh off the fryer. It tastes different than the other korean fried chicken I’ve had. It actually almost tastes like Chinese fried chicken, the ones you find in the butcher shops– but more expensive as the Chinese ones are super cheap by the lb. I like it enough to give it 4 stars and will probably come back again if I’m in the market.

Been coming to this place over for years, I can’t believe I didn’t write a review for them. The ladies and the owner are friendly and work hard. Try the chicken it’s a must! They also have sweet yams and sweet flavored bread that’s shaped like a fish. Tried them all, so good! I always get the catering tray full of chicken… it comes with seasoned radishes and spicy sauces. Ordered again for Christmas party. FYI — It’s located inside in the back of the HK market.
