Highland Park Motel

If you’re smart enough you should ask to see the room before you pay for it, At least that’s what the man in the front desk recommended I SHOULD HAVE done when I asked for a refund. As soon as I walked in to room 109 I was hit with the strong stench for cigarette smoke and was greeted by the graffiti inscribed to the bed frame and table mirror. The toilet was broken and the shower was just small and filthy. The room itself is just a hallow, four corner, room and don’t get me started with the bed! I wouldn’t be surprised if it were carrying bed bugs! The mattress was stained, the blankets were torn, and reeked of a foul smell. When I mentioned this to the man in the front desk he just offered me new bed sheets. I am not all claiming the service here was bad because they were just doing their job and could not return my money. I did not stay the night there, I couldn’t. No one in their right mind could possibly sleep there with out the haunting of the prior gang parties and prostitution that more than likely took place there, That’s about all I could think that bed room could be used for. I hope that with my $ 65 they invest in a new mattress, AT LEAST.

Smelly old rooms. Broken toilet, rusty shower. Good price $ 60 but would be better to pay a little more for something cleaner.
