Heather J. Roberts, MD, AMC

I’ve been going to Dr. Roberts for years for an annual skin cancer check, and she’s by far the most thorough, knowledgeable dermatologist I’ve ever known. Years ago, I referred a friend of mine who’d been to see a bunch of different doctors who couldn’t figure out what a lesion on her face was, and Dr. Roberts was the first to correctly diagnose it. I recently referred someone else to have Dr. Roberts give a second opinion, and Dr. Roberts had a far more modern, less invasive and pragmatic approach to the issue than the other dermatologist did.
I never have to wait very long, and her office staff is friendly. Though she doesn’t accept any insurance, I do find her pricing to be fair. I’m so grateful to have been referred to her all those years ago!

Dr. Roberts is the best dermatologist. I saw her all throughout my twenties and she helped me get through adult acne and it’s all its aftermath. She is not pushy with products and expensive treatments like other dermatologists can be… she truly works with you, your budget, and your personal comfort level. I am so sad I can’t see her now that I live in NYC, but I can’t wait to start seeing her again when I move back. I highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr Roberts since 2000. I have received amazing care all these years for a number of different skin issues. I first started seeing her for cystic acne. She helped me find a skin care routine that eradicated them. Over the years, she’s handled other cysts, biopsied moles as well as helped me keep my skin looking young and rejuvenated. She treats my husband as well as both of my kids. She is super patient with them as they are still young.
I don’t understand the negative review on here. Sometimes things happen and a patient has to wait a bit to see a dr, but she is definitely worth the wait. I would trust no other person with my skin or my family’s skin.
If there were 10 stars, id give her 10!

I have been a patient of Dr. Heather Roberts now for many many years. Everyone in my family goes to her. She is attentive, really knows what she is doing, and cares about what is going on with the pateint. Her staff is super professional and very courteous.
Dr. Roberts is a gem and I highly recommend her if you need a caring and professional dermatologist. She has really helped me with many dermatological issues and I feel more beautiful because of her.

I have never written a Unilocal review before but am prompted to do so because of the unfair and inaccurate review given to Dr. Heather Roberts on 2÷27÷11.
For the record, I have been a patient of Dr. Roberts for twelve years and therefore have history and experience with her, and the office staff, to say that the above mentioned review is way off base. I also have a number of friends who are patients of hers and have never heard anything but raves about her services.
I believe the negative review may reflect its writers’s impatience and judgmental attitude– to which I say, «Patient, look in the mirror!» and read this:
1. Dr. Roberts, and every one of her staff, has incredibly beautiful skin!!!
2. The building and elevators had been in the process of being updated and refurbished.
3. Dr. Roberts’ staff has always been extremely efficient and kind to me – I think
the attitude of the writer may be the cause of «surly» responses! And for the record, I have NEVER been touted on any products.
4. Dr. Roberts trained initially as an Internal Medicine physician before going back to re-​train and intern in Dermatology — thus having a broader medical base and longer training than most other dermatologists.
5. I have found Dr. Roberts to be a gifted diagnostician for diseases of the skin –and — she is an ARTIST — with a highly developed aesthetic eye for beauty enhancement using subtlety and a sense of balance for each patient individually.
I highly recommend Dr. Heather Roberts for any and all your skin needs!
