Hands down the worst massage my boyfriend and I have ever had. The therapists had no idea how to give a massage! They poked and prodded with no real agenda, and the movements on each side of the body were nowhere near symmetrical. Overall, the massage left me completely unsatisfied and more sore than when I went in. Additionally, they changed our appointment time, started late and ended early, left the room repeatedly to turn away walk-in customers without apology, then tried to FORCE me to tip more than 15%, and pay $ 70 for what was advertised as a $ 50 massage. I’ve never had a worse massage experience. This place will go out of business in no time. Just terrible.

I used to go to this place and get massages all the time with Ben. Then he left. I have tried three other people and they were all horrible. This last time I got the worst massage of my life. It felt like they got a random guy who doesn’t know anything about massage and told him to do it. The place is always noisy! There was someone talking in Korean in the background the whole time and the person in the next room would leave to answer the phone I could constantly hear her walking she wasn’t even trying to be quiet! I will never go back, that’s it.

The place looks and smells like a storage room. But that’s not the worst part. I got a full body massage, and my masseuse kept pressing hard and random around my back, and at some point I heart something cracking in my spine. The following days, I am in sharp pain, can’t turn my head around, and seriously considering getting an X-ray to evaluate the damage. Unless you’re looking for a cheap rub and want to take the risk of a serious medical injury, avoid this place at all cost.

Anna is great! Very relaxing! The room is open with curtains to separate everything, but this didn’t bother me. The music is very relaxing and things are generally quiet. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

I am disturbed and disappointed to have to write this review. My boyfriend and I went to HealingPlus after ordering a groupon for a 1.5h massage on Unilocal. My boyfriend insisted on a female masseuse and since they had only one working, I had no problem taking the male masseur thinking nothing unusual would happen. He placed me in an open but curtained room. I removed my top layer but kept on my underwear. He came back and said to remove everything and gave me two small towels to cover top and bottem. There were no linen sheets to cover me completely but I thought that two towels would be okay. He started massaging my neck and shoulders for 5 minutes then my belly. He spent the next 45m massaging my legs up into my groin and my butt. I had asked for a sports deep tissue massage and I had remembered a previous masseur massaging my groin area. I had talked to my sister back then about it who had said that a masseur going up into the groin crevice is normal for good deep tissue sports massage so I went with it. When he massaged this area he kept the towel covering me but each time he folded the towel a little further back. Then he rolled me to the side to continue his massage and the towel rolled off. He rolled me back up and I was completely naked and he put the towel back on. A few times his elbow brushed by my private areas but his hand never touched anything so I thought hmm what is he doing?!? He did not speak English that well and I had no clue what he was even saying to me. Eventually he rolled me onto my stomach and started to massage my back, butt and legs. I was completely naked at this time but on my stomach. He then spread my legs and raised each one up and massage them. Then he rolled me over at which time I was also completely naked, and placed hot towels over my entire body. There were a few times when he leaned over and I could feel his groin area touching my hand or arm and I moved my arm away bc I didn’t want the chance to have touched anything accidentally. It was the worst, most awkward and uncomfortable massage. The curtains were cracked and people were around and my bf was a few feet away and he didn’t seemed bothered by any of the above(he was not nervous or scared or jumpy as a I lay naked and he was doing this massage). I kept on thinking what is he going to do next and is that normal. I couldn’t figure out what was going on and if it was right what he was doing or maybe I was being too paranoid. As soon as I walked out, I turned to my bf and asked if his lady massaged his thigh and groin then showed him what mine did and he said absolutely not. I told him that the towel fell off and there was a time when I was completely naked. He said that not only is that illegal but I should have grabbed the towel back and left. I told my sister that he massage my groin and she said that can be normal… and that the towel fell off and she said that has never ever happened to her. I felt that it was not a massage but a lot of groping was done. My boyfriend stated that I should have gotten up and left or said something or grabbed the towel back on each time it fell off bc I was sending him the wrong message, but I was feeling awkward and maybe a little shocked and stunned and didn’t know what to do besides just lie there. I should have never been put in that position ever. It was totally unprofessional. I felt groped and taken advantage of. I don’t even know what to do now. I was going to go to the police but I don’t know if they would say I let it happen, so I decided to write a Unilocal review and a groupon review, then report it to the Better Business Bureau.

This is just a quickie as I just had a quick 30 minute massage and reflexology session with Peter in my lunch hour. I’ve had a headache the last week and just fell upon this place as I was walking by in my lunch hour. AMAZING, FANTASTIC are words that come to mind. Not only is my headache gone but I would have to say it was one of the best massages I have ever had. I’ve booked myself in for an hour and a half on Monday so will update. Looking forward to seeing Peter again. Anita

Although this place moved a bit away from my home, it is definitely worth the drive. It’s in a very safe area on the corner of Wilshire and Barrington. There is valet parking and there’s validation with the massage. The place is upstairs and the front desk has a reception room which supplies free tea and water. Jenny, I believe is the office manager and is very helpful and sweet. I recommend calling and scheduling an appointment. She’s always been so helpful and accommodating and is always sending me promotions. I appreciate the professionalism as most of these foot massage places lack that kind of service. I’ve only used Peter and he is just spectacular. He is incredibly experienced and utilizes shiatsu, deep tissue and Swedish. Unlike some of these places where they give the same massage every time, Peter seems to know what my body needs and targets the massage to work out those areas. The space combines two tables with curtains which surround them for privacy and an open area for the chair massages. The place is very clean and well-kept. These foot massage places have definitely been popping up everywhere and I’ve tried many of them. This is by far the best place in Los Angeles, in my opinion. I appreciate lying on the table with my feet wrapped with hot towels table rather than having them hang over in a bowl, hurting my back. With the price being so incredibly reasonable, give these guys a really good tip. They’re worth it!

I went into get a body massage. For 1 hour I just paid $ 30 since they were having a special. I had a long day and was in dire need for a massage. My neck was pounding. The therapist did a great job and got the knot out on my neck. Thank you!

This place was not that great. It’s cheaper and I know you get what you pay for, but I’ve gotten way better in LA at the same(or cheaper) price point. I asked for a full body massage($ 45) and what I got was something much less than that. First, it is not a private room, but a large floor full of massage tables. Fortunately, there was no one else there that day. The therapist basically just applied mild pressure on various points on my body repeatedly. She did this for an hour. After the massage, I felt no better than when I went in. Money wasted for sure. I will definitely not be visiting this place again and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
