A friend of mine recommended this market to me about 10 years ago and I was hooked! The moment that you step into this market, you nose is greeted with such a lovely fragrance of well seasoned meat that your mouth will be watering soon after you arrive . What ever they have you’ll want to buy. The pan sausage chicken or pork, the hot links mild or hot, they are just so good! They also have slab bacon and numerous other delicious meats. The people who run the store are so friendly and happy to help you, I always enjoy going there. This is a great place to get some good olé school food.

Love the ground sausage. Due to location I visit once a month to every 2 months and freeze. Usually purchase both the mild and spicy very good.

I can think of no better place in Los Angeles for Hot Links or Pan Sausage. This family run business is one of the many gems in South Los Angeles that deserves your business. All their links and sausages are made fresh daily in the store, and once you’ve tasted a Harris Link no other will do! So do yourself a favor and make the trip to Harris’, you be glad you did!

Forever known by me and my family as the«Mr. Harris» sausage. Unofficially named by us after the sausage’s creator, who is now deceased. Have been eating these homemade sausage for over 20 years. The business is family owned and operated. Initially there were only Pork sausage, sold either mild or hot. Then they started to make a healthier chicken sausage. No matter which you choose, you cannot go wrong because these are hands down the best sausage in LA. These sausage are unlike anything ever. They are packed with herbs and spices that will make you want to eat them raw. There have been several occasions where I have bought sausage and left them in the car and went to run a quick errand. When you come back to the vehicle your nose is attacked with a spicy goodness. Simply having them in your refrigerator for a few hours will result in the same aromatic beat down. Like I mentioned, they sell traditional sausage. But they also sell them in ground form with out the casing. These pan sausage are excellent for a Saturday or Sunday breakfast. We always have them for our Christmas breakfast. But of course they are best right off the grill. Did I mention that they’re homemade. Yup, made right in the back of the store, which is spotless by the way. They also sell other lunch meat and chicken wings. But I only go for the sausage. The«Mr. Harris» sausage is a must at every BBQ.
