I’ve lived in the area for a couple years now. I was hesitant to try it since their restaurant health department rating went down to a B. Very recently we noticed it came back up to an A so we decided to give it a try. I’m assuming the language barrier was responsible for how short the answers were to everything, but I still don’t appreciate being told«No» everything I asked for. Ordered the fried pork and the orange chicken and it was quite frankly below average food. It tasted as though the oil had not been cleaned in a bit. I was excited to try the noodles and quite honestly I thought that is what I asked for. Anyways, I won’t be returning, good luck.

BESTKOREANFOODEVER in La! To somebody who really misses the taste of Korean food, this is a MUST restaurant you should visit! I just wonder why they are not open at dinner times. But anyway, it is very cheap considering not only for the amount of foods but also the price itself compared to any other korean restaurant. I surely gonna love this place, me I my friends are planning to come here every day!

Has good portion, and their numbe one on menu is good on cold weather. They used to have a lot more meats and sea food but now they have just a lot of veggie iono why, but still big portion. Little bit pricy but what is not pricy these days. Good food.

Limited menu but noodles are always done just right. My favorite is the JjaJangMyun. Perfect for a quick bite for lunch. Quick, inexpensive, and tasty! This place just became one of my regular lunch stops.

I Stopped into this little place on a whim and ordered the«Spicy Noodle Soup.» This soup is to die for. The portion size was generous and the squid and oysters were fresh and perfectly cooked. The broth was amazing and wonderfully balanced. The menu is small but the quality of the food is excellent. Stop by and see for yourself. Enjoy !!!

odd choice of name since there is only ONE noodle dish on the menu. also, speaking of which, the menu is very, very small. person working there when I went was also very dismissive/pretentious. 2 stars because the fried rice I ordered was decent, but seriosuly, I came in for noodles at the«happy noodle company»

I am not an experienced Korean food eater, so if you are, go ahead and don’t read this. I went into this restaurant to try to grab a quick meal while on lunch at work, completely unaware of the fact that: yes, the menu is as simple as it appears to be. I am not saying that is good or bad if that’s what you are looking for. It was not what I was looking for. Personally I would have preferred a side of rice or something to go with the sweet and sour pork I ordered(which was delicious). The reason I think this place is just, «A-OK,» is really because the service took as long as it did to respond. There was only one other person, who was almost done eating at the counter, when I arrived and it took almost 15 minutes for me to get my food. This means that the simplicity of the menu and appearance of the restaurant did not coordinate with the full experience of dining at this establishment. Simple is good. Simple is better. But being fast is key if your establishment is going to successfully maintain its simplicity.

Saw the sign that says Happy Noodle near Wilshire and Normandie and was curious. Will it make me happy? Ironically, their shrimp fried rice did. They got six menu: shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour pork, fried pork cutlet & rice, dumplings, black bean noodle with pork, and spicy seafood noodle soup. I tried the shrimp fried rice, spicy seafood noodle soup and sweet and sour pork. Fried rice is really good. I give it 5⁄5. Spicy seafood noodle soup gets 4⁄5 and the sweet and sour pork only gets 1⁄5. I didn’t like the sweet and sour pork because it tasted too sweet and the fried batter is way too bland. They need to change recipe for this. So far 2⁄6 menu items made me happy and 1⁄6 menu made me sad. I’d go back and try the other 3.

Simple no-fuss tasty Korean food. Only six items on the menu. I ordered bokkeum bab(fried rice). It was tasty and fresh, with fried egg and big pieces of shrimp. I like how they make the food right out in front, in the open so the customers can see. And I like that the place looks pretty clean. The guy working there said it’s only been open about three weeks now. So far it looks like it’s gaining traction as there was a decent flow of customers when I was there. Hope they keep it up.
