I’m speechless this place is literally amazing. We got the churro sample and the crêpe, best thing ever! Dulce De Leche has to be hands down the best flavor! And I just found out the churros are vegan! Like honestly this is just the place to go it’s very nice, it’s gives a nice feel to it.

Two words: minty coffee. At first I was skeptical, but the two together are a perfect pair. The mint is extremely light and refreshing and compliments the boldness of the coffee. This is what keeps me coming back again and again. The churros are also outstanding and I adore the guava sauce that can be poured over them. The owner Jenny is one of the sweetest and most hard working people I have met. She has been there almost every time I have visited and is always there to greet you with a smile. Tip: There is a small parking lot directly behind Happy Days Café that you can use for 45 minute parking. You can enter directly into the café from this lot.

I’ve walked by here many times on my way to the local shops and finally gave in one day. I’ve grown up on churros and absolutely love them and Happy Days Café does them justice. I came twice in one week and once the following week. That’s definitely a good sign of superb food and service. The only thing I’ve had — each time — are the stuffed churros. They’re so delicious and addicting! I first had the Nutella and dulce de leche with a vanilla latte and I loved it all! The second time I wanted to try all the flavors so I had the sampler. Every flavor is perfection: chocolate, dulce de leche, Nutella and guava. It’s a very fun space with an interactive Instagram monitor so you can see your pictures when you post them. I’ll eventually try something different when I get enough of the stuffed churros, because they have churro ice cream sandwiches, waffle sticks, churro donuts — they got it all. You have to stop by when you want you churro fix!

Y’know. If you can get any place to have the scent of sugary sweet churros, I’m sure any café would have a good following. Happy Days Café does indeed know how to keep their customers happy. FOOD: Majority of the menu is dessert BUT they recently began serving paninis! My second to last visit or so I came in pretty hungry thinking I should’ve grabbed dinner first at the pizza spot down the street. Only to be pulled back in once the owner said panini. I was hesitant for obvious reasons being that they aren’t known for paninis & I’m sure they were still in a good trial and error round. Bottom line, it wasn’t my favorite panini. It lacked flavor, it was bland, & the sun dried tomatoes didn’t help. Definitely a trial and error. The presentation was a bit overdone but A for effort. CHURROS: Since this place is churro-centric, it gets its own category. Above all else. Get a churro! Any churro. Churro waffle sticks drizzled with chocolate, a churro flight with a variety of fillings, churro ice cream sandwich, or just a PLAIN churro that you can dip into your hot chocolate. Their churros are warm, right amount of sugar, crisp on the outside & fluffy on the inside. Some of the fillings can be too sweet. So if you want a little kick of extra flavor, I would highly suggest Churro waffles(especially on a first-timer’s visit)! It’s my favorite & it gives you just a step up from the plain churro. DRINKS: I’ve had their vanilla latte & mint hot chocolate. Both delicious. Although they both can get pretty sweet if you let them sit long so stir them before you sip. I have also tried their tea and I am quite a fan of the spicy plum. Next visit, I plan on trying their Horchata latte! It’s a sweet, petite & cozy café. Pillows on the benches. Live music on Friday evenings(at least the one I went to had it). Much prettier during the day due to natural lighting, evenings are dimly lit but the high top tables have a little chandelier on top so if you go for a date. Those are two seaters & the spots I’d highly suggest for a little more intimacy versus the communal BENCH not table. They also have a live feed screen going on. So if you post & tag them, there’s a good chance you’ll catch your IG post on there. Keep your days & café visits happy, Unilocalheads!

Very creative, tasty churro pastries, good coffees and teas. It’s a very comfortable, hip little shop with a nice vibe, but not too loud. Very friendly service. Great place to take your date or meet a friend for coffee.

I’ve tried something similar to Happy Days called Churro Burrough in Los Feliz recently and I wasn’t really sold on it. I was a little skeptical about this place because I really didn’t like Churro Burrough and I was afraid Happy Days would taste the same. THANKFULLY, this place tastes 100x better. I was so relieved. Everything about the churros were fantastic: the taste, the texture, the consistency. They really set the bar. The churros are made to order, so when you get them, it’s fresh and hot! I got the churro ice cream sandwich with the hazelnut latte ice cream and it was to die for. It’s like I died and went to heaven. The girl that helped us take our order was also really sweet and helpful! I will be coming back!

This is the best churros churrisimos in the valley… btw I don’t know other place like this around, but it’s really good, nice, the coffe is great, but you must go for the churros, I want more flavors, they offer dulce de leche, caramel and chocolate, guava will be great, and also, if you guys could heat the sides of caramel before serve it would be awesome. This place is a little gem for a rainy day or every day.

VEGANDESSERTEXTRAVAGANZA! churros & coconut milk-based ice cream(salted caramel w/chocolate or chocolate hazelnut) are delish, although both VERY sweet/heavy. which they had a vegan chocolate filling & waffle option– then I’d give ‘em that 5th star…

If you want a sugar coma then this is the place to be at and go to. Such a cute little shop. Friendly and clean. We ordered the waffles on a stick. With a side of dulce de leche and guava. It was so good but so sweet. If you love super sweet stuff then this is the place to go. Just too sweet for me. They offer you free water and have a cute small patio area.

Solid churros. Fresh. Good crunch on the outside. A smidge too doughy on the inside for my taste, though. Chill and welcoming atmosphere. Not mad at this spot at all. And since it’s open till midnight I’m likely to return. Both the churro waffle and ice cream sandwich are on my list to try.

A really small but cute café. They sell I cream churro sandwiches and coffee! I was brought here by a friend, and if you pass by it you can quickly miss it. They’re one of the few places on Ventura(let alone the sfv) that stay open late. They are similar to churro Burrough but a bit cheaper and a lot closer. You don’t have to deal with LA traffic. The churro sanwhiches are good, and they’re lattes are worth it! I got the matcha latte and it was strong and full of flavour! I recommend this place to late night goers. I’m coming back for sure.

This is a cute little shop on Ventura Blvd. I came here one day because I was craving dessert and plus I love churros, so I had to try this place. I got the churro sandwich and the churro was so hot that my ice cream was melting rather fast. It was quite messy! Although, it was made to order, so it was fresh. I came here another time with my friend and we had churro waffles and the churros sampler. Some of the churros from the sampler was overwhelmingly sweet. I think less of the fillings would have been better. The customer service was excellent. I would definitely go back there. The parking can be a pain since it’s on Ventura Blvd, but there’s plenty of parking meters, street parking on the side streets or pay for parking in those private lots.

I was recommended this place by another helper, however, it’s more substance than hype. The décor is welcoming and amazing, very hipster feminine. The churro sampler was okay. Not a fan of the guava that resembled more like bad caramel than guava. All the others were good especially the Nutella. Customer service was a bit bored and cold. At least they had wifi for me to work on some writing.

Churro ice cream sandwich. Need I say more… Okay fine. Treat yourself to a fresh, warm churro ice cream sandwich here. Let the ice cream of your choosing melt slightly as you try to daintily eat this dessert in the manner it calls for. Slip into utter bliss. Do yourself a favor however, you may want to skip buying Fiji water here. It’s $ 4.50 for a small bottle and they serve fancy«spa water» as it is.

«Churros! Churros! Try our churros!» — Said the girl outside who was inviting pedestrians to try their goods. I was meeting up with a friend whom I haven’t seen in a long time, and as I was approaching him a lady approached us as we were about to walk into the store. She offered us a churro sample probably about two inches long, still hot, and still fresh. So we had our churro sample and then we headed inside to get our drinks. They had a variety of different churros that ranged from ice cream churros to chocolate filled churros, to churros with chocolate on the side. The cashier gave us a very detailed explanation of their menu and I ended up just getting regular churros. As far as churros go, they definitely charge a bit more for theirs. A regular being $ 5.50 and the«churro con chocolate» is $ 7.00. But they were freshly made, and they were delicious! Their coffee was on the weak side. It was probably a medium roast and nothing too spectacular. A little bit of the disappointment but it was pretty good. Will definitely be back on a day I crave churros. That is, if Costco is closed and I’m looking to get my churro fix!

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while and so glad I finally did! It’s super small inside but they have some sidewalk/patio seating available. My friend ordered the churro ice cream sandwich. They have a rotating list of flavor of ice cream. It seemed a bit hard to eat because the hot churro was melting the ice cream. We saw someone else eating an ice cream sandwich with. Churro waffle which seemed a little easier to handle. We got the horchatta latte iced with the churro sampler. I thought the latte was great but my friend thought it was lacking the horchatta flavor. The sampler is much bigger than what they show you in their desser windows. There were 4 flavors… chocolate, Nutella, dulce de leche and guava. My least favorite was the guava, I was expecting something more along the lines of Portia guava rolls. The only thing I would change about the churro a is to plug up one end of it so filling doesn’t explode out as you bite it. Overall though they were fresh, warm and delicious. Definitely hit the spot!

Cute little desserts shop specializing in churros, homemade ice cream and good coffee on Ventura Blvd strip. Perfect location as it’s surrounded by so many restaurants. I wasn’t really a fan of churro ice cream sandwiches because the couple I tried was not impressive but Happy Days Café changed that tune. Churro ice cream sandwiches comes in to forms; the spiral or the waffle. The churro is always made to order and the ice cream is solid cold so it’s perfect that the churro is crispy and hot and the ice cream is melted perfectly. I tried the hazelnut latte ice cream and I couldn’t be anymore happier. The churros dipped in chocolate are good as well. Chocolate is flavorful and rich and the again the churros are made to order. Not overly sugared and just enough to work with the chocolate. The minty coffee is a lot like Philz’ mojito except they tear the mint leaves straight in your cup. They don’t overly cream your coffee which I love and it’s sweeten just enough. Cute little spot. Parking can be tricky. Definitely would consider coming back.

Such a cute little shop, very nice and clean. Wonderful service, the girl who assisted us was very helpful, explained to us what each item was and the different options. We decided to share a few items I ordered the Waffles on a stick with a side of french vanilla ice cream she ordered the churros sampler. What I like is that everything is made fresh to order so nothing is sitting out here for customers to purchase. The churros were delivered to us and the girl was kind enough to offer us waters to drink as well, they have beverages you can purchase also. So the waffles on a stick were good, they tasted better with the ice cream on top. The churros sampler was good too but I’m so glad we shared because there was no way I could eat all of that, it’s very big, it’s stuffed with different flavors. Nutella, Guava, Chocolate and Dulce de Leche. I have to say the Nutella/Chocolate were my favorite but it was a little too much for me, it was really sweet especially the dulce de leche. All in all great experience, the churros were good, waffles were yummy. I would definitely recommend this place. P. S. Don’t expect the churros to taste like the real churros we are use to having this is a little different can’t explain the difference. But it’s definitely not the thin cinnamony churros I am accustomed to. These were both thicker and not as crispy they were more softer.

Apparently churro ice cream sandwiches are the new up and coming sweet treat in LA… Did someone say Churro Borough? Located in the hub of Sherman Oaks, Happy Days offers a small but tasty menu with horchata lattes, mint iced coffee, churro ice cream sandwiches, ice cream, hot chocolate, waffles and coffee. They offer basically what every speciality shop in LA has all in one stop shop(Philz…Churro Borough, Terra Mia… Anyone?). The staff here is beyond helpful, thoroughly explained their menu and offered a sample or two. Craving a sweetie, we stopped by one evening to try out the infamous churro sandwich and a scoop of ice cream. Ok, the concept of a churro sandwich sounds cool, but isn’t practical. The churro is hot, the ice cream is cold. Eat it separately because it just turns into a creamy mess! However, the churros by themselves are damn tasty as are the waffles. I wasn’t too impressed by the coffee almond fudge ice cream. I’d say stop by here if you’re craving a sweet in the evening(new hours are evening hours). They have indoor and outdoor seating and are located next to the juicery & golden state crossfit. Not sure if I’ll be back, but it’s definitely worth a try!

I can dig it. Pretty much perfect here. Especially on that late night dessert spot grind. (Churro Burrough, take a seat.) Hot, crispy, cinnamon-y sweet churros, Churro ice cream sandwiches, Churros with dipping chocolate, Stuffed churros(but that dulce de leche, tho! Woooo!), Churro waffles, Well made iced coffees (Mint iced coffee packed FULL of fresh mint), Free-WiFi, Open fairly late… What’s the problem? Sounds like Heaven, huh? Some secret menu items are: –Matcha Lattes(quality matcha used here) –Iced Rose Tea(fruity and floral!) –Churro WAFFLE ice cream sandwiches(take that, Churro Burrough) I told her to practice on the chocolate dipping sauce recipe and perfect it a bit more. Make it thicker, spicier(and more hazelnut in flavor if you ask me), but at the end of the day, this place is THEJAM. The End.
