H & H Market

H&H might be closed. I’m not sure Tony and Vince and the family are still running it as of November 21, 2015. They really cater to the clientele locally and right now it seems to be liquor and beer only. I wonder if they retired?

Five stars for Tony, Vince, and the whole gang at H & H. A hub for the whole neighborhood to enjoy, great meat and cheese deli, and excellent booze prices. Pretty sure that’s all the food groups.

I’ve been coming to this market since I was a kid. On the outside it looks like an ordinary liquor store but to locals, you know they have the best marinated carne asada and chicken! Haha! This is where I stop when I’m lazy to marinade some meats for a BBQ. Tony is a die hard Lakers fan and he has pictures all around the register to show it!

This little market has been here forever. No matter what you need you will find it here. Usually we buy beer and snacks here. They are very nice and friendly every time you go there. Living so close to this market makes it convenient whenever you need something and do not want to drive down to vons or ralph’s. They have made lots of improvements and remod. Stop by on your way to the dodger or laker game for those last minute must haves.

From the beginning of time, age 6, H&H was there, I used to come in with my parents and raid the chips, candy and soda aisles. It really is a convenient place to shop, and like another reviewer said, the avocados are the best! They’ve also recently expanded the store, things aren’t as crowded and there’s a bigger wine section.
Tony is awesome, he’s always joking with customers and has picked up all the Spanish cuss words. And let’s not forget Vincent and the lovely wife and if you’ve been lucky, you’ve also met their sister. This family is just the best.
Items can get pricey, but just remember, you’re also getting service from these characters.

Tony is the best. Always down to help out the local neighborhood. I hope this place never moves! Fair pricing, they have anything you could possibly need on a whim. Everyone who works here is Kind, and actually concerned with you and helping out! A small Market like this is rare nowadays and I hope they continue to do well!

The best liquor store in Echo Park by a mile. They always have crazy specials, there’s no credit card minimum, and the people who work here are super nice. I don’t know if these dudes get stuff off the back of a truck or what, but everything seems about 10% cheaper than it is elsewhere. Unfortunately, they’re only open till 10, so if you’re looking for booze after that your options are limited to the series of shitty, overpriced liquor stores on Sunset. I love this place.

Ever since I moved up the street this has become the nearest and most convenient market. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The selection is good. My gf and I have found a handful of cheap but great wines they keep regularly stocked. They carry most home amenities when something is needed last minute. Their food and produce is good for a liquor store/​mini market. Although I have never purchased it myself our good friend and neighbor buys his carne asada from here and it’s great!
Their liquor selection is decent but still missing some of the trendier alcohols and mixers need for my cocktails of choice. But when I asked about a certain brand they didn’t carry, the clerk assured me they’d look into it. Next week they recognized me and were happy to tell me they now carried it! It made my day.

This place has all kinds of beer and for the best prices. The nicest owner you will ever meet. Go there for your next Booze run and you won’t be disappointed.

This place is just down the hill from my house .
They have a quick produce fix and «fillers» to save u from having to go to a big market etc… if u need it, cheap cilantro BEST avocados. beer ‚
blah blah blah. been going here for years. Tony is cool and its run by a super nice family of brothers wives, and now the kids are all grown up hang there too. Sometimes shady dudes go buy beer and i just ignore them.
quick in and out is always good, thats what this place is good for.
