Discovered LAX Hydro through a friend BEFORE the move to their new local. All I can say is when a company has as much knowledge and the staff are as courteous and helpful as they all are they had to expaned.
When I first started doing business with LAX Hydro I thought «Good stuff but because it is a small specialty store I can find things cheaper at the big box stores.» WRONG! LAX Hydro not only is competitive but beat most prices. Add that to how friendly and knowledgeable all the employees are and you have a winning combination.
Stop by, check it out, and meet the Staff. Shara, Moe, and the rest of the group will make you feel at home.

Not just a hydropnic store for «exotic plants» it’s much more… I went there to get 3 4′ two bulb grow lights for my shady plants for the terrace under the deck as I do not grow exotic plants — no wholesale electrical supply had anything in stock and theirs was perfect — better quality and design. I had been looking for bamboo stakes for my bamboo in front of my house so the stakes don’t show — Home depot, Orchard nor any garden supply had anything of the same quality or thickness… Then they have a great selection of pruning shears and Fiskar scissors which are impossible to find in stores… So If you like gardening come here and they will give you a discount on their wide range of organic super potting soil half palette or full. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful… didn’t have to ask they helped me with my stuff out the car. Come here and go nowhere else — you can’t beat the prices or selection…

My kid referred me to LAX Hydro & what a score… Really TERRIFIC, Knowledgeable, friendly people. They have by far the lowest prices and all below MSRP. I met Greg & Sarah. They both have quite a lot of experience and knowledge in our Industry & aren’t afraid to share it. If you need answers to your questions LAX Hydro is the spot. Wanted to check out hydroponics systems today. As soon as I walked in, I received eye-​contact hellos and smiles from staff present around the entrance of the store. Adam spent time explaining various systems, lighting requirements, etc. with me and also gave me literature to take home to learn more about hydroponics. A female staff member also helped me pick out organic fertilizers. Although I didn’t purchase any hydroponic equipment today I was able to leave the store with «smart pots», fertilizers, and other gardening supplies for my sister-​in-​law to start her first organic back-​yard garden. They also thanked me for my business and helped me load my car! I’ll definitely be back! MM

This is the best hydroponic store ever. Not only do they have everything you can possibly need to grow whatever you want, but Adam is the kindest most knowledgeable guy ever. I have came in and called with questions about every phase of growing and Adam has always provided a thorough answer and products that delivered results. Go here for everything you need and the prices can’t be ebat either!

This is a hidden gem of a hydroponic gardening supply store. The staff is friendly, and the selection is fantastic. The prices also seem to be a bit lower than other similar stores in town. We will definitely be back.

LAX Hydro is the best shop in the entire LA area. Pricing CAN NOT be beat, goof amount of products to select from. Nutrient selection is awesome. I have gone over every place from Burbank to OC and LAX Hydro has the best pricing by far. MOE is a great guy and knowledgeable, no pushy salespeople and they are fun to talk to.
