I travel to a lot of the goodwill stores around LA to purchase items to recycle for my online business. Compared to the more expensive areas, I.e. Hollywood, West LA etc. Crenshaw is by far the most expensive for crockery, why is that? Considering this is technically the«hood». I collect teacups and matching saucers where Crenshaw ALWAYS prices them at $ 1.99 a piece, chips included and they are never placed together, cups and plates on different aisle’s so you have to go searching which I find ridiculous. Everywhere else(for example Hollywood) each piece is priced from .49c — .99c, possibly $ 1.29 if really fancy and in most cases $ 1.99 for both cup and saucer. Why are the prices not uniform in all stores?

At first, I had no interest in going to this Goodwill but I was in the area and figured why not. The store is pretty big, but kinda disorganized. Most of the clothes looked pretty outdated and old. And the signage was kinda confusing as well. However, I did find the coolest oversized jean jacket that I’ve been searching forever for so I gotta give this place 5 stars! If you are someone who likes coats or outerwear, they have a good assortment of them in the back of the store. Glad I stopped by this place!

They were having a $ 3 clothing sale on 9−5−15 and to my suprise… they STOPPED organizing by size! ahhhh! That was the only thing this place had going for it’s self. And now everything is organized by color. Like i said before, i live really close and that’s why i give this place a chance, but now that it is not even by size… why even bother :(at least not for clothing.

I give it 5 stars because i usually find more than one thing i really like for an awesome price. I recently found a vintage furniture piece and and a designer handbag in great condition. That makes me happy!

This is a great store to find name brand pieces. I left with 27 pieces one of which was a pr of Manolo Blahnik for $ 10! Staff here wasn’t the best customer service wise. The crowd here is EXTREMELY aggressive when new racks come rolling out the doors!!! Major pickers shop here to resell and they don’t care who they knock over! Beware the little old ladies are the worst! 27PC/$ 128 pretty cheap!

I was shy going into goodwill for clothing because i can afford to buy clothes at places like nordstrom or barneys. i have long arms and usually the expensive clothes i buy end up not fitting after washing them a few times. I went into this goodwill to find paintings and collectibles but ended finding great clothes, like a brooks brothers jacket for $ 15. This place is a hidden treasure. All kinds of great items show up here. Now a days cause I don’t live to far from here, I go to this Goodwill a few times a week because i feel that buying clothing here is a) good for the environment in terms of recycling and b) if it doesn’t fit later I’m only out $ 6 for a shirt. Oh and C) with some luck and patience — you can look like a million bucks for pennies on the dollar. Happy Hunting

I did community service at this location. I have to say that this was the cleanest and most organized Goodwil store I have ever been to. It’s mainly because they usually have a lot of people doing community service here. The staff is friendly and I always looked forward coming here. It was a lot of work but the people were very friendly. It made it go so fast. The regular customers here are awesome too. It’s more like a community gathering place. I love it. They sit there any wait for the new racks to come out from the back. There are a lot of good clothes that go on the rack. Name brand stuff and in good condition. Every now and then I even come across branded clothing with tags still on them. It’s a hit or miss at this store. Its all about timing. Go during the week when the community service people are stocking the racks. Go there before Friday because that’s when they pull stuff off the racks. They pull some really good stuff. Some of the electronics and shoes are a bit pricey. I do have to say that this store feels like a Ross at times and not just some ordinary Thrift Store. Keep an eye on those weekly deals. They are a bargain at times.

This is probably the best Goodwill store I’ve been to! I was actually overwelmed with the decorative items! Loved it! The prices were wonderful as well!
