Such a cute place to eat at and delicious as well! I highly recommend ordering the truffle fries. It is to die for! I ordered the crispy rice with a side of avocado and it was definitely an unforgettable unique dish. Going to come back real soon for those fries.

Had a girlie dinner here — great sharing plates both small and large plates. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts, truffle fries & white shrimp(awesome sauce!). We also had the steak and beef tartare which were tasty too. Reasonably priced and a small but good selection of local and international wines. The French Sauvignon Blanc is delicious. I’d recommend reservations as it gets pretty busy.

We stopped in for Happy Hour after a screening. The experience was not great by any means. They served the tinest hamburger that you can imaging for $ 8. MacDonalds are much better as well as larger. The burata on hard as a rock toast was just OK as was the Ceasar salad. The only thing that would give them the second star was the french fries. Not sure if I would be back. Also note, the whole place is wide open with no air conditioner. You might want to keep that in mind when coming during the summer months.

First time trying last night and really enjoyed my experience. Great ambiance, quick service, and food overall impressive. We ordered the brussel sprouts, kale salad, burrata, truffle fries and gnocchi. I recommend all except for the the gnocchi, which was quite bland and lacking in flavor. Good as a date spot or larger group.

I have found my new favorite brunch place after 25 years in LA and it’s Goldie’s. How I had not known of it before is now a marvel to me. I took my visiting parents and cousin here for brunch today on the recommendation of a neighbor and we were all amazed that Goldie’s isn’t far more well-known and packed to the hilt. While it’s true that Saturday is not as big a brunch day as Sunday, based on our meal there should not have been an empty table in the place. Aside from their superb bread(from Culver City’s Lodge Bread Company) and the delicious strong but not bitter coffee, our brunch courses featured some of the best, freshest and most delicious versions of breakfasts we’ve ever had. We ordered the Avocodo Toast, the Mushroom Scramble, the Smoked Salmon Benedict and the Baked Eggs. The Avocado Toast, perfectly ripened and served atop the Lodge Bread with fresh lemon and chili flakes, was outstanding and just the right size for a light breakfast or first course. The Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The Salmon was fresh and not at all fishy, greasy or oily. Light but flavorful. Hollandaise was not too rich, perfect consistency and the portion was large and satisfying. The Mushroom Scramble was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Very fresh and the pecorino was just right– not overpowering. The Baked Eggs must have been excellent because my cousin wasn’t willing to give anyone a taste and devoured it. He also ordered a side of bacon that looked incredible. Thick crispy slices with no greasy limp fat. The chef brought us the Fried Brussel Sprouts — something we wouldn’t have ordered. And OMG! Boy were we glad he did. These are an absolute MUST. Tiny brussel sprouts halved and cooked to a crisp with lime, soy, rice wine vinegar, radish and breadcrumbs. No matter what you order, you must get a plate of these for the table. Even if you think you don’t like Brussel Sprouts, you will love these. Lastly we all shared the Pot de Crème — Butterscotch with fresh whipped cream. It was the perfect consistency of light and airy, not too sweet and utterly delectable. A kind and attentive waitress, a friendly, passionate and hard-working kitchen staff all made the experience that much more enjoyable. The ambience is a bit rustic meets hip. A living garden wall and /outdoor and indoor seating is punctuated by a pleasant looking bar, skylights and timber logs.

Came for dinner with a friend on a Friday evening. We had reservations for 7pm and the restaurant was not yet full. We were seated promptly and even got our choice of inside or out. Our waiter was courteous and service was fine. We ordered the burrata salad, fried chicken sandwich, and bucatini carbonara. Portions are on the small side. And honestly, food tasted just fine. Nothing much to complain about but nothing to rave about either. I can’t think of a reason to go back when there are so many restaurant around that I want to try. Kiddo tip: I came sans kids. The tables are pretty tightly packed so it might be hard to do with kids in tow. But if for some reason you really want to come here with your kids, I would suggest coming off peak hours and maybe on weekends for brunch. No kids menu. No changing table in bathrooms.

Food was delicious. We went for brunch, and there wasn’t a long wait. I had a baked egg skillet with prosciutto on top, and my friends and I split the golden girl carafe. It was one of the best brunches I have had.

Happy Hour is every day from 3 to close! That’s good to know because you don’t wanna end up like me and show up at like 2:38 looking for some deals lol. THOUGH the waiter was with it and he was like ok — let me just get you drinks and I won’t come back til happy hour ccauseeee he probably understands that rent is high and this is LA, so its air-conditioner-bill season and happy hour is. the. move. Anyway, started with watermelon mimosa and it was sooooo good. You gotta stray away from the OGOJ mimosas when seasonal juices are in(aka always in LA) and give those a shot. It was so yum! I got the Caesar Salad — basic. Im basic. But THESALAD, not basic. Big cut leaves and yummy croutons — and I looooved the dressing. I dunno what it was or why I liked it so much but I was SOINTOIT. I also got a side of fries. This my friends, it my go-to meal. LOL. I love me a dank salad and some delicious fries. Always satisfies — idk what it is(I know what it is. its like being bad/good but im pretending I don’t know im being bad) — but I love it! These fries were goooooooood at the start because they were SO crispy and delish buut after the 8th(more like 88th im so ashamed) fry — it began to just taste like grease. So oily. I couldn’t have many more(bc there were barely any left). Ok. So, get there at 3, get the watermelon mimosa, the salad isn’t basic and share ya fries!

Possibly the best Sunday brunch experience I’ve had in a while. They were able to seat a party 6 with no hassle — We just called on our way to give them a heads up. Service was on point! So pleased with our waiter. Food was awesome. I ordered the Green Eggs + Bacon — I killed it. I tried my friend’s brussel sprouts with fried egg… amazing. I’m getting it next time. I ordered a Bloody Mary for brunch, naturally. I like mine spicy and Goldie’s Bloody Marys already come with a kick. Didn’t have to add more tabasco like I always do. Score. I’m coming back.

This place is awesome. We celebrated my nieces graduation here, we were a party of 8. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The Brussel Sprouts, Smokey Carrots & Burrata we all divine, it would be hard to decide which was our favourite! The mains too were excellent Fried Chicken Sandwich, Hamburgers, Skirt Steak, Bosciola. Don’t miss the Truffle Fries. Somehow we still had room for desert my favourite was the Toasted Marshmallow. Cocktails were all too easy to drink!!!

Fab brunch spot. Sit on the patio which is lovely and has a vertical garden of succulents. They serve a spicy, very tasty Bloody Mary. Their OJ is very fresh. Brunch is … in a word… YUM. The green eggs are great, the eggs over brussels sprouts are great. The egg sandwich is great. I’ve always gone for brunch so my review is specific to that. Highly recommend it. Very tasty, fresh good.

Always passed by this place on 3rd and finally got myself to go for brunch and I was pleasantly surprised! The waiters(Aussies) were extremely friendly and the food was extremely satisfying. The crispy rice salad reminded me of Sqirl’s dish but I liked this one better because it wasn’t overwhelmingly acidic like the one at Sqirl can taste at times. I also like the addition of the cherry tomatoes with that dish and the portion was just right!

My friends and I come here all the time for their happy hour which is at 3−6pm since it’s so conveniently close to our work… and we all know everyone needs a drink or two after a hectic, crazy day at work! We probably come here too often as the last time we were there, the waiter John who serves us all the time already knew our initial orders: Golden Girls and truffle french fries! First of all, I don’t understand how this place is not super crowded during happy hour! The have an amazing happy hour menu, the ambiance here is spectacular(love the décor and garden/succulents wall in the patio), and the staff are fantastic! It may be a little hard to spot since there’s no huge sign for the restaurant. Now about the food. My absolute go to’s are: — The Golden Girl cocktail: AMAZING, comes with a whipped egg white foam on top — Truffle french fries: always perfectly crispy & comes with a delicious truffle aioli — Fried chicken sandwich: perfect portion size — Cesar salad: extremely crispy and fresh endives Order all the items I listed above and you won’t be disappointed. We are actually heading back for happy hour tomorrow. See you tomorrow John! ;)

Great drinks! All the small plates were delicious, brussels sprouts, beef tartare and truffle fries were great. Great vibe, and little outdoor patio, will definitely be back!

Great brunch spot! Came here on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that our group of 4 was seated so quickly. We ordered a pitcher of the sangria. It was so good. Very light and not too sweet. I also love when sangria is served with fresh fruit. Big fan. I had the Salmon Tartine and was in heaven. So damn good. The crème fraîche, avocado, cucumber and radish were all fresh and tasty. It also came with a side salad that was covered in a light, lemony dressing. Just so many great flavors in one dish. I highly highly recommend it. I was happy to find a brunch spot that did not require a reservation. The service was great and I’m definitely coming back!

Brunch review only. Wife found this place on Instagram while browsing for pictures of breakfast egg dishes. They have an outdoor uncovered patio and an indoor dining area with skylights. We fumbled making a reservation for a party of 4 so we were sat at one of the high tables, which personally I liked(we were told the high tables are reserved for walk-ins, while regular tables are for reservations). There were a few tables with reservations that had well behaved kids, so I’d call it kid-accommodating. Valet is available(although I had to wait about 5 minutes before an attendant showed up) otherwise there is limited parking options(the residential streets require a permit, but there is some metered parking and street parking if you are lucky). Wait service was good, didn’t had to wait long for a water refill, to clear a plate, etc. Started off with the Avocado Toast, which was my first time having avocado toast of any sort. They prepare theirs pretty simple from what I’ve seen on other restaurant’s menus, with chili flakes, lemon & chives. The last two ingredients really bring out the usually mild flavor of the avocado, I love anything spicy so the chili flakes were perfect and makes the dish identifiable. It was so good we ordered another at the end of the meal. 5 stars. I had the Fried Egg Sandwich with gruyère, tomato, spinach, sriracha, bacon, and a small salad. The bread was real fluffy(it was brioche or hawaiian) and a bit much after the avocado toast, so I just used half. The contents should’ve been a hit, but lacked the amount of flavor you’d expect, but you can just improve with a little bit of salt & pepper. 3.5 stars. Their brunch drink menu isn’t their full cocktail menu that they have at dinner, so feel free to ask your server for the full menu or you can just look it up online. I went with Smoke on the Water which was made with mezcal, watermelon, oolong tea, lime agave, and fresno chili. In layman’s terms it’s basically a spicy watermelon margarita. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the oolong tea as I’m not a huge tea fan, but it was such a minor component that it’s barely noticeable. Watermelon is the main component, as it’s a very refreshing drink at first and then you get the lingering smoke & spice from the mezcal & fresno. 5 stars for a brunch cocktail(they might want to consider adding it to the brunch drink menu). It’s worth coming here once for brunch and I’d come back again if I can find a different main brunch dish that I’d like.

Cute restaurant on 3rd for brunch. I had a cappuccino, and my friend and I shared the avocado toast and each got the kale salad — mine with smoked salmon, hers with chicken. Food comes out very quickly and is fresh and delicious. You’re seated outdoors on noisy third street but it still somehow manages to feel like a little escape. Cute rustic chic décor too. I really liked this place.

Nice brunch in an industrialized jungle setting. We didn’t make a reservation, but there was plenty seating at the bar. We shared the eggs with fried brussels sprouts, Salmon tartine, chicken sandwich and cookie dessert. The eggs over easy/medium on Brussel sprouts was by far my favorite dish. Hint of sweetness to the fried goodness. Kinda wish it came with toast for the broken yolk though. Salmon tartine was clean and savory. The chicken sandwich was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Unfortunately the cookie dessert wasn’t impressive at all. The cookie was warm, but not soft. It didn’t break easily with the spoon. The cookie itself might’ve been burnt on the edges. I enjoyed a bloody Mary for myself. It was basic but nice. I love that they offer pitchers for many of their drinks. I’d love to go back and try a few other things on the menu. I believe they have valet parking, otherwise it is street parking.

Sunday night is the time to go! Half off all tasty beverages and a $ 4 snacking menu that doesn’t disappoint. Sit outside for some great people watching and hang with your friends for a quintessential LA low-key evening. Best yums: Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, burger skip: meatballs

Came in for lunch on a weekday and the place was empty but the chefs and waitress were so pleasant and beyond accommodating. Husband ordered Fried chicken sandwich which he thought was great but a little messy and the bread fell apart fast from the amount of thousand island dressing. I ordered the kale salad and I am not a big salad fan and this salad was beyond good. The crunchy quinoa and flax seed add so much flavor and which the sweet dressing, it was just perfect. I also ordered eggs over sautéed Kale without any dairy or avocados and it came out perfect. I had all kinds of requests and changes to my order and they were so accommodating without being rude or irritated which was just perfect. It was a great lunch! Def want to try this restaurant for dinner when there are more people so we get a bit more of the atmosphere.
