Golden Ox

The service is a little slow but the food is good! Their fried chicken is the best out of all the hamburger joints in the area. My hubby enjoys their burgers. The staff are friendly. The breakfast platters they have are a good deal and their servings aren’t too small.

I love this place! Been going here since I was in high school since it’s so close! I go here so often they already know my name. There fries are bomb! The prices are so reasonable.

Damn this place disappoints me. It use to be good thw food was good before but now damn the rice on the teriyaki plate is over done real soggy. N the chicken salad it’s discusting I only ate the salad the chicken was chopped up and thrown in the fryer it was very oily. N the steak sandwich my husband had was bad the meat was overcooked it was tough to bite into sorry yall just lost customers it disappoints me cause I live real close to this place.

I really only Adore when they serve Breakfast.
I ordered a Beacon & Egg Breakfast with my very on twist to it.
I added white rice to my breakfast. So my Breakfast was: Rice, Beacon, Eggs, and Toast and Orange Bang.
That’s the perfect Breakfast for me and yes I killed it.
Golden Ox is a VERY Respectful Burger stand. I’ve NEVER had a problem with the Employees at this location.
The employees actually teach me certain words to remember in Spanish every time I visit.
I’ve been a Faithful customer since 2011. Golden Ox will always have a place in my heart.

The Golden Ox didn’t disappoint. Plenty of parking, (morning around breakfast time) 1^st. Inside, it was clean and they accepted payment by card, 2^nd. There were plenty of options on the menu, 3^rd. My food tasted better than what I expected for the modest price I was charged for it, 4^th. Only one person came up and begged for money while I was waiting for my food, 5^th. Best food in the world? Of course not, but 5 stars in comparison to a lot of other places in the area.

This place takes forever through drive thru! Waited 30 mins just to get my food! And the staff are just outside or walking around instead of working!

They have good tacos tortilla with carne al pastor.
Service is good. And quick service. I like to go and enjoy Yakutia once a month

Bomb burgers, and their pastrami chili cheese fries are great .u get a nice cheese burger combo for under 7.00.I definitely recommend this if ur in east la

The drive thru takes an hour to get your food

This is a decent restaurant, been here a few times and it’s usually a good place if you are looking for something cheap and fast.
Make sure you bring cash because they don’t accept credit or debit card. They have an ATM machine but like most ATM machines you will be charged a small fee (I was charged $ 2). If you choose to eat here then don’t be surprised if you have to clean your own table, sometimes they aren’t cleaned after people leave.

This place is good. I’ve eaten it about 3 times because i live near by. The price is good and the food is decent. The chili cheese fries are outta this world good:) the only reason why i didn’t give it give it five stars because of the wait time. Its unbelievable. Went when it was empty took over 15min! Other than that great bfast gret lunch:)

The burgers are decent as well as price and service.

Location-​In South LA is similar to Tom’s burger all over South LA
FOOD– Is ok but their chillie cheese fries are the greasiest and most flavorful in South LA. Even though this food is not healthy at all there chillie cheese fries are good. I use to get them alot when I was not healthy conscious but once in a while I will go back and eat them.

Their tortas-​better than ok
Morning Omelettes– are really good actually, the chicken one is delicious
Club sandwiches– use to be good not anymore
Drinks– sodas and mexican drinks, cannot really judge since I dont drink either
That is all I have tried. Overall is cheap and there are some foods I would get if I had a fast food craving. Get the chillie cheese fries alot of cheese not stingy at all with it.
Area again is not so great. Employee are nice family owned. Drive thru can take forever.

This place has the best burritos i have ever had!
The burrito is huge! I mean it isn’t even wrapped like other burritos, this thing fills up a to-​go box alone. Def. a knife and forker.
They melt a slice cheese on it and top it with a roasted tomato salsa. yum.
Anything they have with carne asada in it is great & I’m not even a fan of carne asada.
It looks like just another charbroiled burger place but man, their mexican food is no joke. Prices are very reasonable.
