Golden Liquor Store

I’ve been several times to this liquor store, they have always acted like as if they are doing you a favor for owning a liquor store, but a few days ago I had it with these people and need to write that down! These people have no customer respect NONE whatsoever, that just piii’d my off so bad, even when I asked for an additional plastic bag for my purchases, he actually took everything out of the paper bag and put it in a plastic, when I asked him that I like to keep the paper bag as well, so that some of the items won’t knock around, he replied with a firm voice No No No need one enough for you! Whaaat? Look at the register see how much i spend in your store and you can not spend a dime for your bags on me??? cheap ass mo-fo’s, especially that sidekick with the pumpkin head tickles my nerves! Never again will I step in that shit hole again! And most of All, I will make sure no one spends money at this place! Everyone who walks in there is an automatic criminal!

Located at the corner of figueroa and ave 40. Pretty shabby but what can you expect from a liquor store located in Highland Park? Been coming to this location since I was little. The owner, Lee, knows my entire family. Haha anyways, he’s a really nice man if you get to know him.
Anywhooo, this store has everything! From liquor, lotto tickets, medication, protection, hair nets, bags of yummy goodness (i.e. chips, cookies, candy. every child’s favorite), soda, to binders and toys. Literally. There’s so much you can purchase here. I’d usually stop by when I’m craving for some chips or I’m in need of alcohol.
Other than the piles of drunk hobos sitting/​standing around outside, the local mexican dudes that have staring problems, and the gangsters walking by. This place is pretty decent. Just try not to get shot or robbed. Just kidding.
