I’ve been going to this place for at least longer than ten years now. My daughter started wearing glasses starting her 3^rd grade and she will be graduating college next year already.
For whatever needs we’ve had all this time, this store has not let me down even for once. Always good service, always big smiles. Makes us feel welcomed and we won’t look anywhere else even for the future needs.

I had a terrible experience here. I was told they don’t accept my insurance and I don’t have any coverage left even if they accepted my type of insurance. Paid pretty steep price, came home and found I have full coverage for nearly every thing I paid out of pocket. I am definitely following up with the Gold Optical on this. Customer service was very unpleasant. Another customer sitting next to me seemed highly unhappy as well. Unless you are prepared to pay almost a full price tag on everything, don’t mind poor customer service and be lied to on insurance benefits, try somewhere else.

Needed a year eye exam and decided to come here. I had spoken to Tom on the phone and as I entered I was immediately greeted. Tom is super nice young kid that dresses sharp. It was busy and I waited about 15 minutes. Kim did my exam and poor woman she was in such a hurry but she still managed to joke around. I think she is the only woman in that shop. In any case if it wasn’t for the rushing I would give it a perfect score.

I have been here on and off for the past 10 years, but not since I got my LASIK. Brought my daughter for contact lense exam and found the service and knowledge still awesome! Dr. Kim was great with a thorough yet quick eye exams, finding out that my daughter was left eye dominant (quite unusual especially as a right handed girl). Will be ordering the contacts soon since my daughter was able to put on/​take off contacts on her own.
This place is smack in the heart of K-​town, but customers of any ethnic background should find this place professional and with great service.
Unfortunately their disposable contact pricing was so much higher than those found on online shops, so ended up ordering from an online shop. I was willing to pay more than the online shop but not when the price is 50% higher. It may have been just the person who answered my call… Still a good place.
