Hiring Erika for my wedding was the worst mistake I could have made. I should have known from day one that her negative attitude and lack of attention to detail would cause problems. However, she did a great job at my wedding hair test so I trusted her with doing my hair on the biggest day of my life.
Prior to the wedding, she said she would do a schedule for my entire bridal party — 10 woman. But this clearly proved too difficult for her and she gave me a lot attitude and made me do it myself. She is supposed to be the trusted professional who knows how to schedule bridesmaids, and the bride, on the day of the wedding. Instead, i had to spend 2 hours scheduling all of my girls. Even though our hair test took 3 hours, I only scheduled myself 2 hours on the day of the wedding. Erika told me it would go quicker since we knew what we were doing. Well, she was very wrong and should have known better.
It took her 2 hours just set to set my hair, and another hour to attempt to get it right. But she failed miserably and couldn’t recreate what she did for me during our test. In the end, she made me over an hour late to see my groom for the first time, made a bridal party of 20 people wait for their photos, made my photographer extremely angry, and made me rush through what should be the most fun day of my life. Not only was I miserable and late, my hair looked like crap and the make up artist had to fix it before the reception. I just pray my photographer does a great job of making me look beautiful in my pictures because I certainly didn’t feel that way.
In addition, a lot of my bridesmaids, and even my Mom, complained that they hated their hair. The assistant Erika brought was terrible.
I would never recommend Erika for a bride who needs precision, professionalism and positive energy on her wedding day. because all I got was negative energy, a defensive attitude, and an inability to do my hair or manage her time. She almost ruined my entire wedding day.

erika is a genius. she is a dedicated artist who is professional and highly skilled. i am so grateful to have had her do hair and make up on my short film and that she is my personal hair stylist. i highly recommend erika for small and large jobs alike.

Erika is truly amazing. got my hairdo by her for the second time and was it truly beautiful. got a lot of compliments and made many heads turn. Highly recommend for all your hair needs. counting the days for my next visit.

I was lucky enough to have Glamour Lush do my makeup before I had some portraits done. My makeup was flawless and I wish I could have the luxury of looking like that every day! The look was very natural, yet my features really popped and that is the look I had asked for. Very professional and warm in her methods and approach. Today I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Erika. She was awesome! She kept conversation flowing and made me feel comfortable with my weird quirks I have about my hair. She made me feel so fresh by giving such a great haircut. I even got a compliment from my girlfriend right when i got home =)
