Just posting an update… Anyone who has been ripped off by «glamour lash» or now«beauty express»(most likely changed the name due to complaints and bad reputation) when purchased through Groupon, make sure and put your complaint in and request a refund! I did and received my refund! This woman has no business ethics or sense of what customer service is. She’s strictly into taking your money at her convenience! FYI… Groupon stated they are investigating the complaint! The only reason I have given a star is because you have to when posting. 2 thumbs down!

Terrible experience. I would not advise anyone to purchase the Groupon or do any kind of business with this woman. I had been wanting to try lash extensions foreverrrr, and i saw this Groupon and was thrilled! I told my mother about it and we both decided to give it a go. I called the number and a seemingly pleasant woman named Whitney answered the phone. She was very nice, at this point, and told me she could even take me that night! I was so pleased! I went to her apartment, apartment, not business, and had my lashes done. I was very happy with them, they were natural looking and very pretty. To be nice, i decided to pay her up front for a full set and a fill, in cash, as i know Groupon takes a large chunk of it. MYMISTAKE. Almost a month later i set up another appt with Whitney and when i got there, she would not answer. I called. I called. I called. I texted. I texted. I texted. NOANSWER. I told my mom and she also texted her. Whitney flaked and i did not get a response until the next day!!! She texted my mom the next day and said we that we did not have an appt. and that i was mistaken, even though i have the texts to prove that is false. My mom went on to tell her she was getting the impression that Whitney was not going to make good on the fill we had prepaid for. Whitney then texted back VERY rudely saying that she«felt threatened» and because of it has«been advised» by her«business partners» that she can not«legally» work on either of our lashes anymore… But do we get our money back? NO. My mother went on to tell Whitney that she did not even believe she was licensed in cosmetology, which you have to be to do lashes, and Whitney did not even defend herself that she was. Which definitely led us to believe she was NOT. BEWARE. Also, which is not stated in the Groupon terms and conditions, when you purchase the full set and the fill through Groupon you must get them filled at FULLPRICE, which i believe is $ 99, although i may be mistaken, before receiving your free fill. So as the lovely Whitney put it «it’s like a buy one get one»… SCAM. Whitney claims to have business partners, i don’t believe it. I think its just her and her little fluffy dog at her apartment trying to make a buck off of us innocent lash-crazed women. So hopefully the $ 80 Whitney scammed out of my mother and I is treating her well. Its a shame someone would compromise their integrity for such a small amount of money… Since this experience i have found a new lash girl and she is a sweetie pie, less expensive, and does a much better job! If you check out my profile you will see that i never leave bad reviews but this is just out of control and i would not want anyone else to have this same bad experience. Whitney & «Glamour Lash» are not the be all and end all of lashes. Go elsewhere.
