this place has a great happy hour EVERY DAY of the week, woohoo! all kinds of specials but i go for the ½ off sushi, which is prepared by the chefs in the adjacent restaurants. mmmm, good stuff.
agree it could use a design update, but is a nice chill place to have some drinks. it also has a beautiful giant mural by a local artist.
p. s. the chex mix is actually japanese rice crackers, in keeping with the japanese theme of uh, the entire hotel. you’re right, this ain’t no house party. this is little tokyo.

Genji bar needs a feng shui consultant and an interior designer. Genji bar needs plasma TVS, signature cocktails and a damn good publicist. It has amazing potential in the right hands. What’s with the Chex mix in the tiny bowls? This ain’t no house party.
