The Grilled Salmon with pesto, steamed rice and vegetables is delicious. It was cooked surprisingly well. Was it worth $ 11.00? Not sure. Depends on where the fish comes from. The café appeared clean and organized, with options for outdoor seating that looked inviting. The woman who took my order, she appeared to be the owner, could use finesse in her approach to customer service. Friendly and polite is a good start. 4 stars for the food. 3 stars for price point. 2 stars for customer service. 3 stars overall, unless the customer service improves.

This is near my office so a coworker and walked over for lunch. I had the special — Spicy Thai Chicken and Rice and she had the Portobello Panini. Both of us felt our meals were quite bland– I don’t think I’ll be back.

I love this place! I work upstairs in the building, and everything about Garden Café makes choosing what to eat a lot easier. The menu has a lot of variety, there’s Peet’s coffee, and the food is surprisingly tasty! Today I had the spinach & bacon salad, with small spicy shrimp soup… soooo good! Not to mention their snack selection is awesome — Quest bars for days. The staff there is super friendly, feels like a happy family vibe whenever I stop by.

Nothing on the menu here seemed very healthy. I ordered the heathiest sounding salad and was not impressed.

I have been a regular customer to Garden Café, but I have had recent diet changes due to health concerns(soy, dairy, grain free). I went in to try to get a regular omelet/scramble with just egg, ham, and bell pepper. I was turned away saying that omelets take too long. I would understand if I was ordering with 20 other people in line(due to it being a small place), but I was the only person in there! This place is NOT accommodating to customers with dietary restrictions and they simply just lost a loyal customer because they were to lazy to throw an egg with a few other ingredients in a pan. Disappointed and will never go back.

I have regular meetings nearby twice a week or so. For the longest time, I’ve skipped trying this place because it’s one building too far beyond where I’d like to walk. Well, that’s gonna change. I’ve tried a few lunches here and they’re pretty good and healthy. Anything can taste good, but fail at being what a normal person would call healthy. On point is the banh mi sandwich. The salads, and soup odd the day. The regular soups, of course. But come by on Thursdays and just try it. I won’t say it. Just come by if you’re near. … n joy

I had their cobb salad with turkey bacon(great option to give their customers). It was very good and the greens were fresh. The vinaigrette is very tasty as well. They give you little poppy seed muffins to go along with it and they are good as well. Service with a smile. I believe she is the owner. Good stuff. The prices are a tad higher than they should be but the food is good.

Every Thurs special: Spicy shrimp soup. I look forward to it every week. I love this soup. It’s like tom yum but with rice in it. Lots of big shrimps inside. Makes me want to go into work hungover on Thurs just so I can enjoy this soup even more. Kidding! So far I’ve tried most of their paninis, sandwiches, and salads. All are good. I would definitely recommend: Turkey cranberry with a side of spicy shrimp soup! Oh, and their tacos are pretty decent as well. It’s on their specials menu.

Cute little sandwich shop. My favorites are the turkey cranberry sandwich and smoked salmon sandwich. I love these little mom/pop shops.

Food is ok for the price in the area around lunch. Better sandwiches down the street. I am a fan of their Friday Salmon special and the turkey chilli is good. Over all it does the trick for a fast lunch.

Garden Café is one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots near my work. The staff is very friendly and nice, and I’ve always been happy with my food or drink orders. I’ve gotten their wraps, salads, sandwiches, and coffee; and everything has always tasted good. One of their best and most popular items is their Thursday soup of the day, the spicy shrimp soup. It is AMAZING. It’s light and flavorful, and it’s a big hit in my office.

Staff are great with regulars, always a plus! A great place for breakfast and smoothies. A few solid choices in salads, sandwiches, and wraps. Daily specials keep it interesting. Highly recommend the garden berry smoothie and the bbq chicken panini!

This café is located on the ground floor of the office building where I work. One of my favorite moments of the day is when you step off the elevator in the morning and the smell of breakfast greets you in the lobby. That’s coming from the Garden Café. They have an assortment of breakfast and lunch fare, and you can call ahead for pick-up or have it delivered to your office. When we have meetings we use them for catering too and they always come through. There’s also limited indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat here. There’s lots to choose from(they even have daily specials), but I particularly love their BANANASOYSMOOTHIE(not too sweet) and TURKEYCHILI(very hearty). While you need to order a minimum of $ 5 to use your credit card, they are flexible with their regulars. By the way, the staff who work here are so nice!

Well, I am giving it 5* for what they are… this is not a destination place, but to go downstairs and get a lunch here is a great idea! they are not too talkative/customer-flirting, but they DO make great salads(always fresh and crispy) with rather quality meat. Also, you can add a small soup from their daily selection. I have not tried their panini and cold sandwiches, but they look good. In addition to that they have daily specials — something warm(e.g., chicken piccatta, korean bbq tacos) with rice and vegatables. It smells delicious, but I am not a heavy lunch eater. I will try it next time it’s raining in LA! They also have a variety of pastries and bars, including tasty croissants and danishes. Bagels for breakfast.
