I’m hooked on the roasts. Clearly, attention to detail is VERY important when roasting coffee. This would be more than enough, but Frequency also now sells «toasts.» This is a bit decieving since toast is more than enough for a decent breakfast or light brunch.
The «California» is rich with avocado on a delicious artisan bread; the ricotta and pickled pepper is also quite delectable also served on a flavorful and fluffy handcrafted bread.
Frequency also now offers a decaffeinated roast for those of us attempting to limit stimulants. Awesome!!!

This place is a hidden gem. I come here because the lattes are insanely good and the atmosphere is more intimate and welcoming than chain coffee shops. Definitely a new favorite!

I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. Recently had a tea to taste and that was excellent as well. Had one of my girls at work try the tea and she is hooked — and she is not much of a tea drinker.
I really like their enthusiasm about their coffees and trying to push the envelope. I’ve tried light, medium, and dark roasts from these guys and its ALL been good.
I really want to try their coffee with the gelato, they were telling me about it last time and it is on my to-​do for next time. There are lots of places to get coffee in Los Angeles, and these guys stand out at that.
