Dr. Freed is amazing. I’d already visited a couple of periodontists before Dr. Freed and they both recommended extensive, costly and painful procedures.
In comes Dr. Freed, who was referred to me by my orthodontist. Dr. Freed gave me a far simpler and conservative diagnosis. His bedside manner, accessibility and responsiveness are also top-​notch.
I ended up getting a gum graft which went off without a hitch. It took all of 45 minutes and didn’t hurt at all (despite the gory details of the procedure). I was dreading the whole thing, but I had no pain during or after the procedure thanks to Dr. Freed’s skill.
I also had a quick recovery with excellent healing of both the donor graft site and the graft itself. My orthodontist and oral surgeon also independently remarked at how great a job Dr. Freed did.
All in all, I am lucky to have found him. I recommend Dr. Freed without any hesitation.

I was referred to Dr. Freed from my primary care dentist to evaluate a potential problem. It was determined that I needed two (2) subepithelial tissue grafts. I was extemely nervous to have this procedure done which takes some tissue from the roof of the mouth (which regenerates) and graft it to the gumline of a specific tooth, but Dr. Freed walked me through every step of the proceedure and I felt minimal discomfort afterwards. His staff was extremely friendly and efficient and all of the insurance and co-​pay paperwork was taken care of in a problem-​free manner. I especially was impressed with Dr. Free’s chair-​side manner and professionalism which put me at ease. I was very happy to be referred to Dr. Freed. I had a follow up appointment and was very impressed with the results. I then had to come back and have another one done in a few months. This one went even smoother and the results were impressive. I would highly recommend Dr. Freed.
