The kogi truck is amazing. Short rib burrito is bomb. Lots of parking. My god daughter is enjoying the DJ. Definitely coming back.

First off, doesnt matter what time you arrive parking is very hard to find! We arrived 1& ½ hrs after the event started and took half hour or more to find parking. There were only 2 food trucks there… belly bombz and sushi burrito. We gravitated towards belly bombz because it said Korean flavored wings while sushi burrito looked like mostly sushi :) We tried the firecracker wings(6 bone-in for $ 8) and were delish. They had a sweet but spicy taste. Pork belly sliders were good too especially if you like the korean flavors. The 5150 sliders didn’t have a different taste to me, was almost like any other beef slider. And the bomb dust fries are heavily seasoned with a sweet and spicy rub, pretty good too. They have a special of your choice of sliders or wings + fries(come in 2 seasoning flavors) or rice + a drink for $ 12. Overall it was a great new experience although i wish there was more variety in food trucks, the ambiance is very chill and my bf seemed to like the Eureka! Wit beer after tasting the sampler. Ohhhhh & the brewery has a shelf with board games for you to borrow while you drink and eat which I thought was awesome because you see groups of people playing while enjoying their beers.

Checked this out on Saturday with the bf. I was a little worried about the parking, but I guess we lucked out with a spot on the street right away. The ambiance was really great and laid back. The trucks are parked on the lot of the brewery, and because of the brewery’s open warehouse set up, the trucks and bar felt like they were really connected. It was a much smaller event than I imagined. Only 4 food trucks. George’s Greek was MIA. We decided to start with Belly Bombz. We ordered sliders and fries. However, the guy taking our order said they were out of fries… for now? I said I didn’t mind waiting for the fries, but he said he didn’t want me to wait so he wouldn’t take my order for them. OK. A little weird, but fine. We decided to round off the meal with a lobster pocket from Let’s Roll It. We got our food and went inside, got some beers, and had no problem finding a seat. I’m definitely not a beer connoisseur, but I thought my beer was good. The sliders were tasty, but definitely nothing spectacular. The filling in the lobster pocket was quite yummy, but I couldn’t get past the actual ‘pocket’. It looked and felt a little bit like a cross between a whole wheat flour tortilla and pita bread. Which is fine… except it was totally damp and soggy. No bueno. For round 2 we went back to Bombs for wings and fries(since they seemed to immediately start selling them to every customer after us!!). Several varieties of wings, with options for bone-in and boneless. I got the Mother’s wings and Bomb fries. Fries were better than the wings, but both were good. Overall, food trucks were not the best around, but it’s definitely a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Bf and I went here on a Saturday. There were a handful of food trucks. We saw George’s Greek rolling up looking for a parking spot. We would have had that instead of the Belly Bombz. This is a small event at Angel City. Parking was hard to find. Not the best food trucks. This is our first time at Angel City. I loved the open space.
