A producer friend of mine discovered this place near my office while looking for lunch options. What struck me about the burger I ordered was how much it reminded me of Kidd Valley in Seattle. I can’t put my finger on what exactly it is, but it’s awesome knowing there’s a great burger place walking distance from my office(especially now I have a Fitbit) that tastes just like home.

It’s so hard to find a sweet little diner like this any more. The food is great and so is the service. I’m so lucky it’s in my neighborhood.

My eggs were cold my English muffin was burned my home fries weren’t even home fries they were sautéed potatoes and my French toast was a complete abomination. No powdered sugar. No flavor at all. It looked and tasted basically like toast dipped in eggs.

My Co-workers & i Have been ordering delivery here at least once a day every day for the last week Yesterday I ordered a «Pattys Omlette»(I asked to ad sausage & it was not applied or charged to my order) the avocado I received on my almost cold Omlette was BLACK. I always ask for a side of ranch for my potatoes and am never charged.(they also are super greedy with ketchup, about 2 packets per order) Today we placed a $ 54 order per ususal, And as usual I asked for my side of ranch To recieve a phone call shouting at me that they will not send the ranch unless I pay 50CENTS for each one and INSISTED that I have never received it from them before and starting today they decided they are going charge us… 50 cents for the smallest solo sauce container?! … RIDICULOUS!!! HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! what a way to treat loyal customers … Probably won’t be ordering here too often anymore due to their lack of customer service skills. food is mediocre anyways and never arrives hot. Hopefully I don’t recieve a side of spit with my food today

Been hitting this place up for years. Almost every other Sunday for breakfast. Most waitresses call me by name. Not to many OG coffee shop/diners in Los Angeles anymore. Beyond this, making it special on its own. This place has consistently served up the best bacon in LA for 20 years. Compared to the trendy social diners this place is a third of the price. Don’t get me wrong I dig those places. But, when it comes to rigid, thin, 8″ slices of perfectly crispy, cooked bacon. Well, Patty’s got them all beat by a long shot. And don’t forget the fresh squeezed OJ. They have in the morning until it runs out. Try the tortilla soup and the French onion. Breakfast and soups. I stay away from all the rest. Ya Just gotta know how to order at these type joints.

Service: I have been here many times throughout the years. The owners never fail to amaze with their incredible service. The old waitresses were fantastic. The new ones not so much but onw of them is on POINT. She gets the order perfectly. The owner just gave me a soda & onion rings while I wait. He’s so kind. :) Food: My brothers & I always get double bacon cheese burgers, chili cheese fries, onion rings & an Italian burger. I must admit that the quality of your chili cheese fries depends on the cook. If it’s the owner is cooking OMGYOU’REGONNALOVEEVERYSINGLEBITE. It’s a great family owned place. Very much like a diner. Give this place a shot if you’re looking for comfort food on a bad day. You will be happy :)

Cozy little place. I ordered a burger, onion rings and a soda. Food was good and service was good as well. It was all pretty cheap so I left quite satisfied.

Terrible! The turkey burger was not fully cooked and tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer for months, the fries were still frozen, and my friend’s tuna melt was completely burned. Plus, they charge you for refills on drinks(when the waitress comes up to you on her own and asks if you would like a refill) and don’t even tell you about the charge until you see it on the bill. Also, the minimum on credit cards is $ 10. I’m all for family owned businesses if they are run the right way. This one is not and it was my first and last time here. It’s unfortunate because I work right down the block.

This is a solid family hamburger joint. Typical menu. Great service. Prices were appropriate for the area. Standout was the tuna salad sandwich which had an interesting flavor and large cold tomato slices. I had a choice in soups and got the French Onion which was underseasoned and not beefy at all. Unilocalers prefer the chicken tortilla soup. Next time, Patty… I left a great tip and paid in cash to help out this family restaurant.

Wonderful family restaurant! I love their breakfast, chicken teriyaki dinner, and burgers which are not greasy at all like other places. They have a variety of foods to choose from. Parking is sometimes hard to get in the tiny lot but if you live in the area it’s worth parking outside or walking here. I have been coming here for years since I got married and moved into the area. They always make you feel like family and remember your name which a plus. My husband and his brothers have been coming here since they were kids. The food is your typical neighborhood spot but the customer service goes above and beyond and is what keeps my family and me coming back. I came in here once with my son on a Saturday past breakfast time and my son kept saying he wanted pancakes. I told him we were too late. Waitress overheard and told my son to tell the owner if he could please make an exception. The owner who was cooking at that moment just smiled and nodded yes. Best day ever! Made my son feel special. I am going to miss this place if I ever move out of the area.

Ok, so this is a diner, you can’t expect anything amazing from a diner, but, this place has a huge menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The best food is breakfast. They have amazing omelettes and very unique salads. Yeah, I would say, you will never find salads like they have, very interesting and good:) it’s across the street from my house, so I will be back:)

Econo-diner! Burger: Meat does not taste like beef, cheese does not melt, lettuce, tomato and avo fresh. Old school crinkle fries. Steady stream of locals and regulars. 1. Come here if you want to spend less than $ 7.00 2. Astros is around the corner and tastes better, $ 1 up charge 3. If you are a tourist in the area– go to In n Out 4. Serious burger eaters try Stout or Oinkster

Great food. Tiny parking lot. Decent bathroom. Great décor. If your phone is dying they will plug it in for you so you can charge while you eat! Great spot to go to after an afternoon of doing laundry or while waiting for a massage appointment.

Where do I begin? I first came here probably around 8 years ago with a group of friends after church on our way to the Dome. I haven’t stopped coming since. The waitress who took my order there 8 years ago, is still the one who takes them today. Whenever my family and I go, she knows exactly what we want already. For example, before my dad orders she says«Phillie Cheese Steak?» And of course he says«yes». Point being, the staff is amazingly friendly. Very hard to find in LA sometimes lol The food is good, especially the Phillie Cheese Steak and the Tortilla Soup. I think what keeps me and everyone I know coming back here is the kind of service that we get. It almost makes it seem like we’re at home. Anyways, my overall opinion on this place? I won’t stop coming back!!! Thank you Flaming Patty’s!

Date of visit: January 6, 2015 Items ordered: Guacamole burger, pastrami cheeseburger, onion rings, bacon cheeseburger, fries, and Coke. My coworkers and I went here on a whim. We actually didn’t have this place in mind but decided to try someplace different to eat. And since we work near the establishment, we decided to stop by to give it a try. After we sat, the waitress was very polite and took our drink order and brought it to us almost immediately. I took one sip and noticed the soda to be flat. I ordered the pastrami cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger was dry and the pastrami was very overdone. It looked like shaved pieces of burnt meat piled on top of the burger. And it didn’t really taste like pastrami. The cheese looked like a very bad slice of cheddar cheese. The only thing that was fresh was the topping on the burger(lettuce, pickles, tomato, and onion). The onion ring tasted okay, but I guess you can’t really go wrong with anything fried. The buns were also«not-so-fresh,» which made the experience of eating the burger a bit more difficult. One buddy ordered the bacon cheeseburger. When they brought her burger, the bacon looked like it has been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time, then cut into strips and added on top of the patty. The cheese also didn’t look appetizing. After my coworker took one bite of the burger, she gave me this«ooohhh, this is not good» look. The burger was only half eaten and left the rest on the plate. My other coworker ordered the guacamole burger and fries. The guacamole looked okay, but looked very watery. It seemed like it came from a prepacked guacamole/avocado alternative bag. He said the burger was good… but added he was very hungry so he couldn’t really tell the difference. I wasn’t a big fan of the establishment and I cannot see myself going back again. The only positive thing that I can take from this experience was that the wait staff was very nice. Enjoy…and that’s my two cents.

This place… What can I say… I ordered delivery and was very specific, I made sure to write out my needs clearly so there wouldn’t be any confusion. By the time I received my food — which was about an hour and 25 minutes later(crazy long) everything was cold. Very cold! Also, my order that I was so careful with? Completely wrong! I hate complaining so what I did was take a bite of my cold burger, maybe it’d be okay? Instead it tasted like cold, soggy vomit/salt mixture. I was so sad, but whatever, things happen, right? Nope. I couldn’t get a refund or new food or anything. They refused to be accountable for messing up my order and sending me food that was as I said before, soggy and cold. They wanted to help in no way whatsoever. Flaming pattys food is like throw up. Also, they’re mean, awful people. Great combo! !!!

I really want to like a place with a name like«Flaming Patty’s». But alas, my order from Eat24 wasn’t inspiring. We had the French Onion Soup(when you order a bowl sized portion, you get two foam cups of soup) to start. It was served with some bread topped with cheese. Not offensive but not that good. I wouldn’t recommend. Moving on… tuna melt with an add-on of avocado. The bread was good and there was plentiful avocado, but the tuna had an unpleasant«fishy» taste that fresh tuna salad shouldn’t have. Fries served along side were cute and crinkly, but dry and not tasty. We also ordered a side of onion rings which tasted(and looked) like typical frozen onion rings. Delivery was fast and friendly. But I don’t think we’ll be ordering from here again. Great name though! So there’s that.

This place is really close to my work and I had the worst sore throat and lost my voice and wanted soup and grilled cheese. I tried the tortilla soup with grilled ham and cheese and it was delicious. I was so happy with my order and everyone was super friendly there. I will definitely be going there again!
