An «OK» Barbershop, but definitely NOT «Top 10 of KTown» material… I was a customer of theirs for about 2 years, mainly because of convenience and they are 2 blocks away from me… I stopped going because the quality of the haircuts started going down over a period of 3 – 4 months…
Jose the Owner is a nice man, but his best days are behind him. It’s almost as if he doesn’t care anymore and will do a half-​ass job (not just on me, but on a few other people that I spoke to that have since stopped going there). I really think that he just wants his $ 13 and wants you off the chair ASAP so he can go have a cigarette outside. A good haircut is judged not just by how «fresh» you feel right afterwards, but how long it lasts. His haircuts would always last me a good 7 – 8 days, but his sloppy work now only left me fresh for 3 days max. before I needed another haircut.
Chema, the older gentlemen, is also a nice person, but EXTREMELY SLOW. I have walked in, sat down, waited for Jose to do 2 haircuts, then mine, and Chema is STILL working on the same person that I saw when I first walked in. If you like fades or anything modern, definitely do NOT go with him. On top of that, he is very grumpy and gets upset if you criticize his work and will argue with you.
The woman in the back is like-​able and takes good direction. Tell her what you want early on, guide her as she’s working, and you’ll be OK.
2 years ago I would have recommended this place, but not anymore. I don’t know how they are in the «Top 10 of KTown»…“Top 50″ yes, but not «Top 10». Go down the street to the shops by Beverly & Normandie instead or anywhere else in the area.

Chema is always in a great mood and does a good job. This is my spot whenever my local barber isn’t around. Good cuts, good price.

I’ve been going to the same barber shop since i was of age to get a hair cut. Unfortunately, now that i dont live near it, its a hassle for me to drive from Silver Lake all the way back to the hood. So i took the «Risk» of trying a new place, preferably mom and pop type of baber shop, and was happy with the outcome. They are extremely professional when it comes to cutting hair and take their time to make sure its on point. Every move he did was made with precision so you better be patient as it’ll be about a 1hr hair cut. I would have given them 5 stars but my only complaint was that it was about 86 degrees in there with no fan and a hair cover that was almost as thick as a blanket. Left with my shirt stuck to my back but im DEFINITELY coming back. Oh did i mention, you get a $ 30 hair cut for $ 12!
Update: 8÷14÷15 they got central AC and a fan. Five star business now.

Had a great haircut with isaac today. Very detailed haircut, i am pretty happy. Isaac only works weekends and tuesday. I have tried all the barbers here and they are all good. Love supporting this great barbershop in the neighborhood.

I came here because I just moved to koreatown and saw the reviews. Someone obviously got their kids to review for them. I asked for a low fade, the lady asked if I want a medium, I said no a low fade. She immediately began a medium buzz, and made mistakes and kept working higher and higher. I have not had a haircut this high since the military, and I have a baptism to attend tomorrow. I am very disappointed, and she had the audacity to charge me 12 when their sign says 11. I just paid and walked out, but I let her know nicely of her mistakes and why I wanted a good haircut.

Friendly, master class barbers. They are cheaper than the competition and 5x better than any supercuts barber I’ve experienced. Highly recommend. Sometimes wait time is long as heck if there is a line, but well worth it

I’ve been coming to this place for a little over 5 years. My friend who was close to one of the Barbers there introduced me to this awesome barbershop. You pay $ 11 for a great haircut! All the barbers are awesome but I honestly recommended Luis the most.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I’ve never left disappointed. Don Luis and Señor Luis are my favorite.

Very Good, Meticulous Barbers. I’ve gotten my hair done by all 3, but my Favorite is Luis! Check em’ out! I just made them a Unilocal,but they’ve been here forever! Also its Next door to LA OCHA!!!
