Fatburger is a must stop when on the west coast. The wife and I stopped in this Brentwood location and our burgers, fries, and milkshake were all on point!

Service is very slow, the prices are too high, and they refuse to make your order a combo deal if it’s not a burger. $ 15 for a burger for lunch is ridiculous. Plus, I asked for ranch dressing and I was given a yellow-looking, and odd smelling, dipping sauce. No thanks!

For the taste, I wouldn’t pay the price. They are right, in & out is a better choice. Nice customer service though and free parking.

Great group of guys. Good food. Overpriced food to be exact. 10.00 for a chicken sandwich and a small soda is highway robbery. I love FB but not that much. I will need a serious hankering for me to visit again with those prices. 5 stars to the guys.

Simple food that tastes great! There is a special place in my heart for another burger joint. When I can’t go to that one I come here! The food here is unique.

Crap junk food, and really tastes like it too. Want a good chain burger? Go to In-n-Out, Islands, Carl’s, The Habit and Red Robin. If you wanna kill yourself slowly… at least do it with better ingredients.

Perfect experience and delicious burger. I enjoyed the patio space out front and the people watching that went along with it during the lunch hour. Is go back for sure!

Fatburger has become our go to place for lunch after my sons basketball and baseball games. Their burgers are great and the staff at this location is very friendly!

Guy at register spoke no English. Very frustrating especially since we’re in Brentwood. Learn English then work as cashier.

Really do not get the hype. I do like that they have a veggie burger option, but it is Boca, horrible quality and not one bit good for you. Can’t speak for the regular burgers, but my husband said it was greasy, expensive and just did not taste great. Not a fan of the fat or skinny fries either. Service was fine, a bit slow, but ok. Prices are really high for the quality you get, much better off going to In N Out!

Service was ok and food is average. A single burger is 2 – 3 times more expensive than In-N-Out and doesn’t taste as good. A single meal can run you $ 10 or more which equates to a more quality dish at the other sit down restaurants around the area. Thumbs down for overpriced food. I’ve also tried their $ 6 crispy chicken sandwich which was a joke.

Dry burgers here. Never good for a fatburger and I’ve been here 4 times now. No more.

It was my first time there… I was looking forward to it as well as my husband! We waited months for it to open and now we get to finally try it… It was over priced and they forgot my fries… I only ordered 2 burgers and a fry for crying out loud! No cheese and when I called to let them know they didn’t pack my whole order, nobody answered the phone all 3 times I tried to call! I won’t be going there again! I love Mel’s Diner and they are fairly priced with great customer service! I don’t think this place will last long if they keep up the bad customer service.

Monster sized burgers and a sinple menu like In-N-Out. The only problem is that it is 3x as expensive… The fat fries are great as well. I parked for free in the parking garage that is connected to the restaurant.

My first Fatburger experience. Quiet on a Friday night. Besides us, there was only a lone patron and a family of 3. I got the(1⁄3 lb) Turkey burger with cheese on a bed of lettuce. I also asked for grilled onions and BBQ sauce but these didn’t get listed on the receipt because I think the cashier got confused because my friend and I ordered together and my friend also asked for these. We came here with low expectations but I was really happy with my meal. The bed of lettuce was fresh and shredded. The turkey patty was actually seasoned and juicy despite being charbroiled on the outside. The server even anticipated my needs and brought me a fork and knife. They didn’t skimp on the relish or sauce which actually was a bit too much. The skinny fries were obviously fresh as they were evenly crisp and hot. They were neither salty nor burned on the ends. I’m hungry just thinking the food. This burger joint has won me over.

In westwood we have not only Fatburger, but also In n Out, and 5 guys. All three of these burger juggernauts juke it out for position. Fatburger probably has the worst location of the three. Its much less glamorous, and not inline with the hip calorie watching. Fatburger seems like more of a guilty pleasure than a realistic burger for many. I braved the caloric intake and made my way down for what was actually my first fatburger. I did not know what to expect. I got a burger and fries. I loved the fries, and the burger was actually okay. Normally I do not eat many fast food burgers that are not in n out, but I fatburger is okay. I like that I got to see my patty be made in front of me, and the amount of pepper in the patty. That as a plus. Other than that everything was just okay. The fries were my favorite part, I liked them quite a bit. Much moreso than other fastfood fries.

I like the lettuce bed burger here, as long as I get the jalapeños all over it! :) Service is great, quick, and usually it isn’t too packed to not get a booth or counter seat. I don’t eat burgers too often, and have had cheap to spendy all over town. Basic and good is best in my book. I like em here. They also make awesome shakes. Reese’s peanut butter this time, my all time fav! Yay for Saturday night!

Yes, my first review of the year is for one of my favorite burger spots which I had not had in a long time. I did notice that they changed the name of the burgers so have to make sure I remember the new sizes. Ordering online didn’t work, at least not for this location and that was a bit of a pisser. I called in and finally got through and placed my order. Fatfries and a large burger and i was a goner. Love the fries especially all smothered with seasoning salt. people at the counter were nice and got me my food fast. I’ll be eating here a lot more since my office is in the area.

Monkey see, monkey do. We followed the Unilocal and a small crowd into an uncrowded Fatburger to enjoy a fast din in a joint birthday salute to my burger-fiend brother, and here’s what we had: «Turkey Burger with The Works»(3.5÷5) — If you’re cutting calories, but size still matters, consider a turkey burger! It’ll give you as much meal as a large Fatburger, with nearly half the calories. The bun is whole wheat by default and lightly toasted. The Jennie-O patty is beefy thick, yet turkey lean, so it doesn’t rely solely on skin or fatty bits to boost burger flavor. Instead, there is a real community feel to it where all of the ingredients work together to contribute to an overall deliciousness. «Fat Fries»(3⁄5) — Trim the fat, with Fat Fries! Believe it. Larger potato cuts tend to absorb less oil in the deep fryer than their skinnier counterparts do, thereby reducing the amount of fat you put into your fry-hole. «Homemade Onion Rings»(4⁄5) — With the calories and fat you trimmed ordering a turkey burger and fat fries, it makes sense to top them off with an order of onion rings. Thickly cut, breaded and fried to crispy order in ten minutes, Fatburger’s rings are just too good to miss. Did you really just eat all that? Stand taller, suck it in. This was worth it!

***Fatburger’s burgers are meaty, tasty, quick, and a little more expensive than the big fast food chains; the size and taste are also more similar to The Habit and Five Guys Burgers And Fries than In-N-Out*** Fatburger was the second LA burger I ever tried(in Burbank). The first was a double-double from an In-N-Out truck. Fatburger’s burgers are different from In-N-Out. They are bigger and meatier – they are more similar to the burgers at The Habit and Five Guys Burgers And Fries. All three of these burgers can be fine though Five Guys can be quite greasy sometimes. This Fatburger is located in West LA near Santa Monica and Westwood. The location is actually pretty nice. The inside is clean and new. I went with a small fatburger and had it with almost everything(iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard). I avoided the relish, which is often too strong of a taste for the burgers here. They must put mustard, Worcestershire sauce or something in the burgers because the beef patty had a strong taste/flavor. It was good. Nicely seasoned and though the burger was cooked pretty medium well to well, it was juicy. The toppings were standard stuff, but they were fresh. Fries come in skinny or fat style. I went with the fat style because it is so easy to find skinny fries elsewhere. The fat steak fries were thick and had soft, hot potato centers. The outside was somewhat crisp, but it felt actually a little bit too soft when compared to other fries out there. They didn’t seasoned the fries that much so ketchup was necessary. Fatburger is order-at-the-counter and the food is made-to-order. Service was still relatively quick. Pricing was okay. The pricing here is similar to the pricing at The Habit or Five Guys – definitely cheaper than Five Guys and maybe slightly more expensive than The Habit. A fatburger is more expensive than a fast food burger, but it is also a better burger. You can get out of here with a combo probably in the $ 7-$ 9 range. Fatburger is a decent and meaty burger chain. This chain hasn’t always been consistent, but it is a good spot for a quick and tasty burger. If you like relatively cheap burgers but find In-N-Out lacking in meatiness, you may want to give Fatburger a try. Parking is available in the street by meter. This Fatburger sits in a shopping plaza with a pharmacy. I think this shopping plaza may also have a free parking lot in the back.
