My favorite chocolate chip cookie of all time!!! And with the $ 10 for $ 15 voucher on Unilocal,it’s such a steal! Too bad it is located at the California Market Center. Parking is such a bummer. I have to request my coworkers to bring me a dozen back whenever they are there for LA Fashion Market Week. ^_^ Parking Rates: — Daily, non-Market rates: $ 3 every 15 min or $ 18 max — $ 9 flat on Weekends TIP: Call in to reserve your order before picking it up because they do run out!

ALWAYS fresh and healthy. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I’m practicing gluten free and there are always so many tasty options. Also, the staff is quick and they deliver in the building HUGE plus!

Amazing soups and sandwiches! This is a great place to grab a quick bite for lunch. There’s always plenty of choices. Fashion Bistro has the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted.

This place is real good here’s the breakdown 1 star for cleanliness 1 star for service 2 stars for how good the food was Less 1 star for portion of meat on my sandwich. A deli sandwich should be packed with meat, they need to add meat by overall it’s real good + it’s kosher(not certified)

Wow! Best pastries I have had in a while. Ran by 2 authentic French chefs. So happy I found this place. They got some great sandwiches. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love you Fashion Bistro or as I call it, the French Bistro! You guys make the best salads and quiches in town. Also the spicy crackers along with the tomato soup is just ah-mazing!

I love this place. Great sandwiches(Alma’s Special is my favorite), great coffee and amazing baked goods. It’s not a sit-down type of place, although there are tables out in the main lobby of the Market Center. The ladies that run this place are wonderful, extremely nice and will occasionally force you to speak French to them, but it’s all in good fun. If you’re in downtown LA and aren’t looking for anything formal, you wouldn’t be disappointed if you gave Fashion Bistro a shot.

The Soups here are Ah-Mazing! The sandwiches are all really good too. I don’t know what they put in the food but everything is just delicious! Thumbs up :)

My only complaint about this place is that they take all of my money. Amazing sandwiches and salads, homemade soups, amazing cookies/cakes. Plus the people who work here are the sweetest people ever. Not only can they suggest dressings, and spreads but they’ve offered me tasters and their sushi is half off after like 3:30.

My new favorite of the moment is the salmon quiche. Oh, and I could DRINK her balsamic vinaigrette. It’s THAT good. She adds a special extra sumthin sumthin. But I’m not going to tell you because I’d rather you TRY it first and guess. It’s SO delicious.

This is a great place to grab a bite if you don’t have a lot of time. I make our company bank deposits in that building so when I forget to eat I grab a sandwich after my 4pm deposit. I’ve tried a few different things there and they’ve been fresh and tasty. Better than your run of the mill sandwiches at other grab and go places. Oh and bonus if you go there on a Friday after 3pm. All they’re deli case food is 50% off. Not the bottled drinks, candy, chips but the perishables. Score!

Welcome to my day: 7:20a.m.- BRRRIIIINGGGGGGG!!! Wake up Ishani, it’s time to start yet another day. 7:21a.m.- SNOOOZE. Screw you alarm clock. I’m going back to bed. 7:35a.m.- BRRRIIIINGGGGGG!!! Seriously Ishani, you really need to wake up now. 7:36a.m.- Fine, I’m up. 8:20a.m.- Getting in my car to drive the same boring route I take to go to my same boring job like every other day of every other week. 8:25a.m.-8:50a.m.- Ryan Seacrest gives me my daily dose of celebrity gossip and crappy top-40 music while I drive with my knee and attempt to cover up those unsightly dark circles(yes, I’m THAT driver… please don’t hate me). 8:55a.m.- I pull into the California Mart parking lot on Olympic to start another dull day 9:00a.m.- I walk into the showroom lit with fluorescent lights, white walls and my dreary grey desk and get ready to stare at my computer for the next 8 hours. 9a.m.- 11:59a.m.- Type, answer phone, respond to email, steam, Unilocal, stare in to space, type some more, and so on… and so forth. 12p.m.- I dial 624‑2424 and a voice answers, «Hello, Fashion Bistro» I respond, «What’s your soup today??» She says, «CHICK-PEA.» **And the angels sing HALLELUJAH!!** All of a sudden there are bright lights, rainbows, and children dancing… and my day has been uplifted. Yes my friends, you might find this pathetic… but the Chick-Pea soup at the fashion bistro only comes around once a week… and when it does it’s a very special thing. I saunter through my week just waiting for the lady at the other end of the line to give me the news… she has no idea that what she’s about to say could make or break my day. In the world of 9 – 5 it’s really about the little things that help you make it to that 5 o’clock mark… and the chick-pea soup at the Bistro does it for me. I don’t know what it is, I don’t know why… but there’s magic mixed into that soup and it makes me happy.

This is a great little spot to grab some lunch in the Fashion District. Always fresh, good food. Great selection of drinks that you don’t see at your everyday deli /7eleven. Love their tuna on olive bread! Yummy… Avacado grill cheese with olive spread is also very tasty… Selection of soups changes per day, but all the ones I’ve tried have been good. Great selection of salads… Sushi. They do tend to get busy during lunch, but most everything is worth it.

A lovely little ‘designer’ bistro located inside the California Market Center in downtown Los Angeles’ fashion district. Very busy during lunch time with people flocking to pick up lunch — sandwiches, sushi, paninis, salads etc plus lots of cool drinks. It follows the Parisian style of cafes and is indeed very at home within its chic surroundings.
