All I can say about these reviews with a bunch of whiners, is give it a break. Your at an airport guys, not Nobu. Chill out, enjoy the best atmosphere and least crowded place to grab a bite and drink in the entire gate area. The bar in the back is a hidden Gem. While that really tacky rock and roll bar is packed with slow service, you can grab a relaxed drink and a nibble at the Farmers Market without all the drama. Long story short… Enjoy your travel days the best you can. Drama is at every turn but this place is at least on the chill side. Three stars at an airport is a bit huge but it’s all relative. If this place were in my neighborhood, I’m sure I would never go. But take the best of where your at… And crush it.

I order grilled cheese sandwich with ham which extra $ 3.00 for meat. When I got receipt I got charge for $ 4.43 which almost 50 percent higher than menu, I asked cashier why it cost more than menu, she said maybe price gone up, I got upset, told her that is cheating. I will not trust people running business like that. I talk with somebody seems like in charge, told him you can’t run business like that.

Is it possible to give them 0 stars? Because that’s what 0 service deserves. I had a 5 hour layover and tried to buy some peanut brittle three times but there was never anyone at the cash register. I figured maybe they were in an awkward position like someone quit suddenly. But today, about a week later, I went back in the store to buy some more food, and again, there was nobody at the cash register. Don’t waste your time in a store where you can’t even check out.

Worst latte I’ve ever had in my life. The espresso is watered down. Didn’t try the food. But you’re better off going to Coffee Bean just a couple steps away. If you want coffee, don’t walk, run away from this place.

Just because you want to save some money while you are at the airport waiting for your flight, it’s not worth the savings. there is a sign in front for a coffee and a bagel sandwich for $ 10. this sounds like a good idea, but the bagel was not worth the money being spent. I just wished I wasn’t that cheap today and splurge on something a little better. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but the combo came with a coffee or a fountain drink. and at 5am, I guess the best choice was coffee. every sip that I take, I think to myself, why me. why didn’t I spend a little more for better coffee or better food. should I waste the food and throw it away, or waste the money that I used to buy it… neither. I’m going to man up and eat the food that will probably make my stomach regret my decision. oh well… its only a few hours flight. time to board the plane. the plane.

I really can’t say if the food was good or not as I didn’t stick around for several reasons. First, I understand that airports are going to be crowded, I get it. However, the workers could have at least appeared to have some sense of urgency about them as people are on a schedule. Secondly, over $ 13 for tacos? Seriously? I know airport food is expensive, and I might understand that much if this was a restaurant with table service. But this was way over priced for stand in line to order and seat yourself food. Granted, by the picture it LOOKED as if it was a lot of food, but still too much. I would have liked to see an ala carte menu. Needless to say, I will be finding something to eat at my destination instead.

I can’t believe I bought a shit for $ 12. The mexican grill inside is not recommended. It is such a scam.

Hey Farmers Market, when you post a 5:30am opening time but tell me you can’t open until 6ish because«the lazy kitchen workers aren’t ready yet»(actual quote from one of the ladies working there!) that means people go elsewhere to eat! Way to go today, you made several fans that were waiting in line with me.

Cool space but really confusing. Prepackaged Caesar salad and 2 beers, $ 34. Whoa! Look elsewhere.

Place is trendy and new, but the food is not great and it’s expensive. Had a terrible taco platter for $ 14.00, plus wine $ 8.89. Only 2 choices of wine — white or red. The wine is cheap!

Had the $ 14 taco platter inside the FM. They were horrifying little wet messes with sloppy beans and rice on the side. LAX continues to uphold the standard as worst large airport in the US for dining. Run away!

This place is cute and new with a nice variety but I was in disbelief over the prices. A smoked salmon croissant sandwich ready-made in a bag was really $ 17.00. So I just got a red velvet cookie at the coffee station $ 3.50. average, nothing special.

I came for a $ 6.00 mango smoothie, it was pretty good. A little on the sweet side but good. Nice spacious room in the farmers market to get some work done. Everything was very very expensive though, but than again it is at the airport. Should have tried lemonade instead.

After my meal in the adjoining Loteria Grill I happened to notice some pastries in the display case in the Coffee Section of the Farmers Market. Obviously I was attracted like a moth to fire. I decided to try one with cake and chocolate($ 4.50), the fancy name for which I don’t recall. Unfortunately looks are deceiving and it tasted weeks old. It was all hard and crumbly without any taste what so ever. The chocolate tried to do its job but failed miserably as the cake base was almost inedible. I’m not sure how these places can serve such crap. Complete disaster. I guess I will never learn.

Ordered a 16oz caramel Machiato for 4.79. Typical price but when I asked for soy or almond milk the woman taking my order said it would be $ 2.00 more. I have traveled to almost every major US airport and never heard of paying almost $ 7.00 for a specialty coffee. Don’t let the farmers market name fool you. They have no morals charging these prices. Probably why it was empty.

Love the idea of local shops at LAX, and the ambiance and quality of food looked good. Monsieur Marcel, Loteria, and general snacks as well as some seating. I picked up a premade and pre-wrapped sandwich and got the surprise of my life when it rang up for $ 19.25. For a sandwich. That contained nothing special. Which makes me wonder how on earth they’re making a profit, because who’s going to pay $ 20 bucks for a pre-made refrigerated sandwich. Sigh. It went back to the refrigerated display and I went next door to Lemonade.

Had a layover and decided to give it a shot. Way over priced. I got a caprese salad for $ 12 and it was very small. I would not come back.

Farmers Market is part of the new food court in terminal 5. I ordered a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, which came in about 5 minutes, presented in a plastic to-go tub. As far as airport bagel sandwiches go, it was average. Nothing about the ingredients or portion size stood out. In fact it was less than what you would get in a bagel sandwich at a typical off-airport location. No surprises good or bad here. The prices are very high. This just average bagel sandwich was $ 16.35 with tax. But that’s a problem all over LAX.
