Totally not my cup of tea. I understand it was free, and in hindsight, mostly a marketing ploy for the movie itself. I took my 2 year old niece there and there really wasn’t much there for her to do. The reality of it is that it was mostly vendors set up to promote their businesses (kid’s clothing, toys and accessories). After an hour of walking around we bailed out. I had such high hopes for this, but I wouldn’t go again.

Had a great time with the kids and hubby, with live music, crafts, awesome vendors and yummy food.
The kids loved seeing huge minions and taking pictures with them.
They even had a miniature aquarium where the kids could feel see urchins and star fish.

Family Fun Day at LA Live. Perfect weather to bring the kids down to downtown for some fun, live music. Family Fun Takeover takes place at LA Live directly across the street from the Staples Center. Lots of restaurant and vendors for the event.

Beautiful day in Downtown LA! Great place to bring the kiddos, check out vendors, entertainment, and get pictures with real minions! Fun for the whole family!
