I have been to this restaurant many times but unfortunately they closed. The food was great. On 01/24/2016 I visited the location again. What attracted me back was that it is still a pupuseria restaurant however the name has changed. The new name is called, «Mi Ranchito Restaurante.» Same address. I will be updating Unilocal to let them know that this place is now open.

Went by tonight, a Tuesday and they were all locked up. Looks like they may be out of business.

Delicioso! !! A special thanks to Mrs. Kenia and her staff. We had a great time, enjoyed our food, drink, and atmosphere. The place is extremely clean and welcoming. Our group was of ten very diverse people and every single one of us enjoyed what we order. La botana mixta is a must if you are new to Salvadorian food, it has a bit of everything. As a Salvadorian myself I could guarantee you that this is authentic food. Service was friendly and very polite, clean and welcoming and the food… just delicious. We had pupusas of different kind, a carne asada plate(btw carne asada was perfect!), a plate of chicken soup(very authentic), and different drinks. .my favorite was their horchata. Prices are very reasonable and everyone in our group was very happy.

I really loved everything here!!! Everything was authentic and on point and I’m very picky with my food!!! The only thing was my platano that was not sweet enough but it happens. I will give them another try!!! Parking sucks sometimes, but if you are lucky, you can find one or just park on the street next time. I don’t like their rice, it taste a little weird, I took away a star because of that. Sorry… The rest of the food has been good and their natural refreshment too.

I ‘ve been ordering from this place almost since it opened, we tried it once and really liked it! We’ve been there to eat a few times as well but we don’t always want or have the time to eat there. Since some weeks now, their phone«is broken down» for it’s a hassle but it requires me going to the restaurant, ordering there and waiting there for my food. It was really convenient to order by phone. I Walked in today and asked the waitress if she has an idea when their phone would be fixed and she said no. Unfortunately we will not be going there anymore because of that issue. The food is good though!

I love this place. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and fast. But it gets packed so sometimes the food takes awhile to come out. So normally I do(take out). But overall great restaurant.

This place is unbelievable! Food is awesome, home cooked. Would never have found this place if it wasn’t for my friends from El Salvador. You would never think to come here by looking at it from the outside. But those«in the know» know. Highlights: best sangria I have ever had in my life. They make each one to order with freshly cut fruit. Be patient though, they really cut for each one. Pupusas are delicious! Get any kind. I always get sopa de gallino. Absolutely delicious rice, beans and chicken with soup. Just found out about this place a month ago and I come at least once a week. And for the delicious meal you get the price is surprisingly inexpensive!

So happy I found this spot. I’ve been sick with sore throat, so I’ve been on the hunt for good soup places. This place, awesome! I got Sopa de Res con Vegetales, and how could I not get at least one pupusa when coming to a pupuseria?! I’m a fan of pupusas, so I order one revuelta, knowing this is way more than enough food for just me with the sickly appetite. I came near closing time, and I’m pretty sure my order was the only one being prepared(maybe one other person’s?). Considering that I thought it took a little longer than usual, but that also let me know that they were making everything fresh, so hey, not complaining about that at all. The soup came first, and yesss, hit the spot! So flavorful and comforting, FULL of veggie goodness and meat. Exactly what I needed. Then the pupusa came, wow! I’ve had plenty of pupusas at various places, and some places can be flat and hard. Here, it’s thick and soft and packed with the pork/beans/cheese! Each bite was so delightful, I caught myself scarfing it down quick! The service is friendly, too. It’s cash only, so make sure you bring them papers! This place is so close to where I currently live that I have a feeling I’ll be coming back here for more pupusas and to try more of their menu!

It’s nice place. It has good parking. Its near the freeway. The food was really good and its not pricey. I would recommend it to friends. The lady attending us was friendly :) The only«bad» thing is that it is cash only.

This place is definitely a must try! the Pupusas are really good! They are not greasy at all! The service is good, their pupusas are very filling and they taste delicious! The only thing I would want to see improved upon is the curtido that goes on too(sorry if I misspelled that) It lacks a little flavor but it’s still delicious… I had the ensalda to drink and it was amazing too! This meal was very reasonable a total of eight bucks for a delicious lunch. What a deal…

The pupusas were good but had a bad experience with«Sopa de Patas.» It had a weird taste like menudo, and had large pieces of chicken in it. I asked the owner/manger who said that it should not have chicken which I told him I know. My sister overheard him tell the cook to mix other soups since they did not have any made. I ordered something else.

Today I was in the mood for a good soup. Keep in mind that I ONLY eat my mom’s Sopa de Res. Yeah I know my opinion is biased but when she makes it for perfect strangers and THEY love it, I can’t argue! I’ve stopped trying soups at establishments because I’ve been SORELY disappointed. The soup here was great! Hit the spot. Plenty of veggies AND beef. Great flavor. It was served with freshly hand-made tortillas and chopped cilantro, jalapeños & lemon. Now, we Salvis are very picky eaters particularly with our own food. But even my mom, who is one of the best Salvi cooks I know, liked this place. The pupusas are full and gooey. Cheesy. The Revueltas have cheese, pork & black beans. These are really good. They also have cheese with zucchini or lorico stuffed pupusas. Haven’t tried those yet. Hubby tried the beef pastelitos. He loves my mommas, so he gave them a go here. Overall good but a tad bit on the dry side. The relish was delicious. I had the plantain empanadas both custard & bean filled, both were just as delicious as the other. Place is clean, restrooms clean, parking is shared with other strip center customers so it can be tricky. Prices were reasonable for the portion size. The only other set back is it’s CASHONLY! But they said they are working on that. Meanwhile there is a liquor store with ATM right next door. Two thumbs up for a local go to Salvi place!

Salvadorian home style cooking. Pupusas, soups and traditional El Salvador favorites. The horchata was tasty. I usually only like Mexican horchata but this was excellent. They also have other traditional drinks. Pupusas were very good and even better since they serve beer and wine. Try the sangria. Lots of space in the restaurant. Clean inside.
