Kale Burger is the best! I prefer the parking(always available street parking) here rather than the location in Venice but they are both great! Perfect for Vegans!

Good, solid vegan food. VERY filling, I ordered the sweet potato falafel plate and I was stuffed. They have all kinds of falafel to choose from. The hummus is amazing, the falafel is delightful(I was also given a homemade BBQ sauce that rocked my world I dipped them in), LOVED the cabbage… but the cucumber and tomato salad could have been fresher. It isn’t terribly expensive and it’s going on my list of places to bring my vegan sister when she visits! You made the list, Fala Bar!

Awesome 100% vegan burger shop on Melrose. This place is tiny, with enough outdoor seating for about 10 people. They serve a variety of interesting burgers and sides incorporating plant based Mediterranean flavors. If you like falafel, you will love these burgers. The perfect balance between a tasty fried treat, and fresh healthy vegetable ingredients. I went with the Kale Burger, which was unique and a huge portion for $ 8. The patty was perfectly seasoned and not too greasy-really nice falafel flavors. Topped with fresh kale, avocado, caramelized onions, and a really delicious sauce. Very satisfying without being too heavy. Staff was friendly and fast-my burger was ready in about 5 minutes. All credit cards accepted!

What a fantastic little joint this place is! We came to visit LA for a week and wanted to find a place that was inexpensive and good… tough goal to achieve for this area it seems. I was so happy to find a falafel place that didn’t cost $$$ like the others in LA. As tourists, it’s hard to be in the know but thank god for Unilocal. How could we have known about this place otherwise? Oh how sweet it is to be alive in the days of immediate information. The falafel itself was delicious and oh so flavorful. I believe i ordered the fala sandwich and was able to choose between different flavored falafel’s. I also found that if i checked in, I would get a free order of sweet potato fries. They were soon good!!! Two thumbs up to this place. If I was a local, i’d be here all the time.

Came here on Sunday and oh my gawd!!! Soo delicious! I love mediterranean cuisine and for whatever reason I was craving something exactly what this place has to offer. I had the kale burger and checked in through Unilocal to get the free sweet gala fries. I ordered my food to go because the arrangement they had was not the best! Very little outdoor seating and no real room inside the place either, so I much preferred to order it to go. My food took a while to get, I think the kitchen was a little backed up but I didn’t mind. I know that I wasn’t getting fast food, so I patiently waited. It was worth the wait to be honest, I found a nice place to sit and WOW! The burger didn’t even fit in my mouth it was stuffed with a huge kale falafel patty, avocado, etc. I almost took a picture but was too busy devouring it to stop and snap a pic, I savored it until I couldn’t savor anymore. I actually didn’t finish it but I enjoyed every second of it. I will be back!

Placed an order yesterday on Über Eats for delivery, Southwest burger was missing. Called the restaurant TWICE asking them to deliver the missing item or for a refund, but nothing was done. I had to call Über myself today to get my refund. Honestly guys, If you can t handle the additional amount of business brought by Über, just close your app for the day.

Delicious and perfect ~ 1st time ordering today. Delivery to my showroom was less than an hour. Falafel burger w/red cabbage and bbq sauce was Perfection. the Falafel was not too dry and the sauce, pickles, cabbage etc all worked great together. Very healthy and filling. The Sweetie fala fries are also fabulous. It comes with a unique sauce which was super good and again, the sweet potato fries are healthy too! Will def order again (ordered via eat24)

I went to fala bar a few weeks ago to check out their falafel. the crunchy is my fav, their hummus is fantastic and no one else has come close to theirs in terms of texture, seasonings and freshness. it’s not overwhelmed by tahini and amazing spices. we also love their hot sauce. falafel can be hit or miss; I haven’t tried the other flavors and only had one visit where the falafel were not as good as the previous times, but they deserve a pass on that experience. subsequent orders have proven to be terrific. the people who work there are the best and make great salads(kaleifornia salad is amazing); my friend loved the sir kensington burger with all the fixings. slight changes in my order are never an issue. we do takeout but there are tables under umbrellas outdoors if you want to dig into your falafel while they’re hot! love fala bar!

Delicious food with good price ! Just had the kale burger and check — in fries ! A lot of food and very nice flavor, not sure if it’s as healthy as the other Unilocal reviews ! Mine wasn’t, and very delicious! The sweet potato fries was a nice surprise. Never thought owners would give check in Unilocaler such generous portion, and indeed very good as well! Thinking of going there more often, wanna try out most of their items !

Fala bar is one of the best places in LA to get a falafel. The falafel sandwiches are so on point with the flavors and general construction of the sandwich. Your last bite will have all the ingredients as well as the sauce as they layer the sandwich beautifully before serving. The falafels here are small which means they are extra crispy and oh so divine. My boyfriend loves falafels and Fala bar got his stamp of approval. He preferred the plate so he can assemble his own bites and there is quite a bit more food in the plates. My sandwich is enough to fill me so whatever floats your boat. There are a couple tables in front but bring a hat because the sun is bright! PS Ask for a side of their hot sauce… it’s killer but damn so good. — Parking: Metered parking along Melrose… parking usually isn’t too difficult in this area.

Amazing! Incredible! Vegan at its best! This place is reasonably priced and offers an abundance of vegan options driven by Middle Eastern influence. There are different dishes and 4 different burgers(with homemade falafel patty) to choose from! We had the Kale Burger with homemade thousand island, lemony kale, pickled cabbage, grilled onions, and avocado with a kale falafel patty… Out of this world! So good! It satisfies my burger craving in a guilt free way. It was also a really good sized portion! Hummus and sweet potato fries are delicious too! You must swing by to grab the best Vegan in the Melrose District! PS– the décor and aesthetics are super awesome too! Support local!!!

Until fairly recently, I always thought falafel were dry and bland that needed to be doused in tahini in order to give it some semblance of sustenance. Well now that I have tried some pretty good falafels, I am looking for LA’s best! The falafel here is actually above average but I don’t think it’s LA’s best. I couldn’t really taste the difference between mine(the original flavor) and my friend’s(Kale Flavor) and the texture was… extremely crumbly(but that could be attributed to the terrible forks… more on those at the end of this review) My friend and I both ordered the fala plate and the salads that came on the salad looked bright and promising but they weren’t very fresh at all. Cabbage strips wasn’t very crunchy and tomatoes chunks were really mushy. The hummus and tahini were fine. The prices are a little high for a restaurant that doesn’t have any indoor seating(and only 4 tiny tables outside). Also their utensils/to go boxes suck. It’s great they are using biodegradable products but the teeth on the fork are too wide, so instead of cutting your falafel in half, it breaks it up into a million pieces.

Although not available on their menu, they let us order a sampler of all 5 of the falafels. «Crunchy» was my favorite, 4 stars. The rest were 3 stars. All a bit too dry. The hummus plate was unexpectedly only 10% hummus plus 10% tahini and 80% salads, served with a single pita. Everything on the plate was just meh. The wooden forks are absolutely horrible — rough/scratchy. Costs them 1 star overall. When ordering«for here», they still serve in «to go» containers. Very wasteful.

Delicious food! I have had the Sweet Potato Falafel and the Original Falafel. I am by no means Vegan and was surprised at how they can create such delicious dishes without any animal products. The sauce they put on their falafel sandwich is so creamy and if I could use it on all my food I would. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in WeHo!

I had the falafel plate with the original falafel. I’m in love. I had it like what… 3 days ago? And I still can’t stop thinking about them. Hummus– delicious. Baba ghanoush– delicious. Cabbage– delicious. Tabbouli– delicious. Really jealous of the Fairfax High students that are right across from this place. I’d be here constantly if I lived in the area. I also tried the spicy falafel and it was really good, but it was pretty spicy, so just a heads up if you can’t handle spicy food.

I really want to like this place but the falafel AREDEEPFRIED and I thought they were baked. Very disappointed. I’ve tried the spicy falafel which is ridiculously spicy and I can handle spice! The original has a strong spice flavor that over powers your palate. Sweet potato falafel is the sweet spot of great falafel. It was the best and tasted like small little fritters of goodness. I recommend getting the side of 5 falafel with hummus for $ 5 for a snack. I wasn’t too fond of the salad plates they offered because most of it was just raw vegetables like the whole foods salad bar. I would totally give this place 5 stars if they baked their falafel because then this would be a home run for all the health enthusiasts out there.

I absolutely love falafel! I’ve been looking for a place that has spicy falafel because I love spicy food. I got the plate and it came with two different salads, falafel, hummus, tahini and some bread. It was worth the line. My friend got a salad that was in a clear plastic container. It looked good too. I also saw some people with falafel sandwiches and they looked awesome. I definitely recommend trying their food! You don’t have to be one of those«gluten free, vegan, low-fat low carb» psychopaths to love this place. It’s delicious and it happpenns to be healthy.

I Wanted a healthy lunch, so I stopped here. Lots of healthy happy options. $ 12.50 got me the falafel plate. 4 little falafels on some coleslaw with hummus on top. I picked the kale and sweet potato flavored ones. There were lots of great drink selections.
