It is the best place to get fry seafood in South Central. First of all, the place is very clean. Second, the workers there are awesome and finally, the food has a great seasoning.

This is yet another place I’ve been coming to for years and is finally writing a review for. Not much to say really as this is just a local fish market where you can have fish, shrimp or other seafoods fried for you or you can take home yourself to prepare. However, if you opt to have Etna’s Fish Market cook for you… you can never go wrong with the jumbo shrimp and fried oysters. The seasoning is awesome! I’ve yet to find a fish market that can top their jumbo shrimp. Good stuff! Lunch 10/24/2015

Nastiest fish on the planet. Taste like old dishwater. Some people will eat anything. The potato salad was really old. The coleslaw has so watery and sweet… I might get diabetes!

This is some of the best fried fish in LA. I was born and raised in South Los Angeles. Like a lot if African Americans we’ve always purchased fried fish on Fridays. So, needless to say I’ve tried a plethora of fish markets and this is one of the best. Like most fish markets this one is packed in Friday evenings, so it’s always best to phone your order in before coming. If you spend $ 15 or more you receive a free hefty order of French fries. My only problem with this establishment is the ascetics. The inside looks pretty neat up and rundown and could use a good deep cleaning. It’s not to the point where I wouldn’t eat there but appearance is everything. They could also use some more side items. In my opinion it lacks some cleanliness but all in all its a great place to grab some fish if you’re in the area. Call ahead first!!!

Etna’s fish and shrimp has been consistently good throughout the years! I’ve been eating here over 10 years. I highly recommend the shrimp, it doesn’t get better than Etna’s! ! Everything is so fresh in the store, no fishy smell at all. And what u see is what u get. Seafood fried to perfection, fresh-to-order. The Catfish fillet was excellent, as well as the oysters and jumbo shrimp.

The fried fish is so good, I can’t even choose a favorite piece. Catfish, sole, shrimp? How can one choose? What’s my point? Get an assortment. and share!

Great Fish! A collegue brought me lunch from Etna’s Fish Market. The Red Snapper was fresh and perfectly deep fried! It was an amazing deal. My basket came with two slices of wheat bread(I did not eat), Fries and 3 pieces of red snapper all for the grand price of $ 5.00 Great deal especially because the fish quality is great.
