Equity Pavers

Equity Pavers did a superb job of installing a Flex synthetic wood deck and a ShadeTree canopy. It looks great and they did it with no fuss and easy clean-​up. I highly recommend them

I approached a total of 5 contractors to provide estimates on a hardscape remodel at my home’s backyard. The job consisted of re-​grading of our backyard, installation of a new drainage system (french drains, catch basins, connection to house downspouts, and an underground drain line to the street), as well as ~825 sf of blended color pavers. I was a bit apprehensive about only going off Unilocal reviews in the case of Equity Pavers, but am in hindsight happy about ending up choosing them based on both professionalism and budget. I am a design consultant in construction and have a good amount of experience with contractors, so I was not going to be easily impressed. However, I ended up being impressed! Erasmo, Kurt, and the crew were completely committed to the job and in making sure I was happy. Even when there was a small hick-​up (I blame myself for not communicating better what I was looking for at a small area at the front), their response was immediate. Also, Erasmo had great suggestions for the drainage scheme that ended up improving the project. Bottom line is that I have no reservation in engaging Equity Pavers for my future projects (they also do retaining walls, concrete slabs, etc.) or recommending them — hence my review. You just don’t get that level of service at that budget from the larger firms, period.

We can’t say enough good things about how wonderful Equity Pavers is. They did a fabulous job for us! Our driveway and walkways are stunning. They are the talk of the neighborhood.
Erasmo and his 4 – 6 man team were especially good with the precision work required to work with the irregular shapes of the pavers and the curves in the walkways. They were punctual every morning and at the end of the day they cleaned up after themselves. They were respectful of our property and the safety of our animals. They worked very effectively and completed the job on time… even though they had a change order. We highly recommend the team from Equity Pavers.

We were on a pretty tight budget to redo out backyard. I priced out paver companies and were warned about the «add-​ons» most companies will include. I met with many of the big ones and it was indeed true.
When I met with Erasmo, owner of Equity Pavers, I met a guy who had worked for one of the big companies (ten years) and was now building his own business. He came to my home on my schedule, brought his son and listened to me about what I needed. His quote did NOT add-​on anything and it was significantly lower than any of the others. I knew that he knew what he was doing and was not going to sell me a bunch of junk I didn’t need. He worked with my schedule, he was on time, and professional. His crew was amazing, and finished my backyard in five days. They even helped to move out our hot tub which they did not have to do. I was impressed with the work ethic and was happy to support this local business. I am sure he will continue to acquire clients just on word of mouth. A gem, we are so happy.

We used Equity Pavers to redo our old asphalt and cracking concrete driveway and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They expertly planned and executed a true work of art, giving us exactly what we hoped for. They regraded our driveway and eliminated the need for a drain. They moved sprinklers. They were prompt to the job site every day and worked incredibly quickly and efficiently. Erasmo is a truly caring and competent professional with a can do attitude. His crew was great and the job site was always kept clean. Great price and exemplary craftsmanship! Couldn’t ask for more. We recommend Equity Pavers without reservation.
