Been here a few times and this place is always poppin. Whether you’re on the guest list or have bottle service, I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum and I always enjoy my time here. One of the few places that still predominately plays hip hop music and not electronic dance music all night long. Definitely a nice change of pace. Up on the 21st floor the views of downtown are awesome. The smoking area is conveniently located on the back patio area where you can still hear the music and have a view of the dance floor. *Guys. Wear dress shoes. They will not let you in with sneakers. You’ve been warned.

It is so sad the the place that I love had good food and the club has a good atmosphere but the service is very very rude I have spend thousands at this club for years but they seem to treat people like crap. It’s so sad cause me being a business owner I see the beauty in downtown LA but every place I go to make you wait I get it but the ones who are loyal and spend a lot should have some respect to put their jacket down on a bench that isn’t being used 30 mins before closing. I’m a very respectful educated women I never come off to anyone disrespectful. I carry myself classy. But it’s sad how u see a lot of lodges clubs that us as a community can be the next New York up scale city has the potential. I just don’t get it I see the people that go to these places. It’s so sad even the bathroom lady thinks she owns the place. Hahaha wow. It’s so funny

Horrible experience on our 16 guest bottle service table. Server only helped 2 times, once to serve the first drink and second to bring the bill where we paid almost $ 200 gratuity, not worth it! She also run many transactions on my husband’s debit card putting on hold more than twice the amount we were supposed to be charged. It was just a mess, so becareful when it comes to paying the bill. Overall our expectations were high for the price we paid!

I’m giving this place a one star only cause security can’t tell the difference between dress shoes that are high tops(Marc Jacobs Leather Shoes) and regular sneakers. I’ve been to this place and got in with the same shoes last year, but this year I did not. Told the security you let a person before me with Pumas on but denied it cause he didn’t do his job. Then lead me out of the line for being rude even though that was not my intention at all. Never coming back here ever. GOODBYE!

A lot of the reviews on the service at Elevate are negative, but my group had a very positive experience! Every single employee we interacted was friendly, helpful, and treated us with respect. We got a table for my friend’s birthday and Mira was the one who contacted me. She sent a very detailed email that covered the strict dress code, bottle service total, and how the process/payment would work so we knew what to expect. We got a great deal via their Facebook page– $ 195 for a bottle of grey goose and 10 comps. On the night of, we did valet for $ 8 and got into the VIP line– there are two lines so make sure you’re in the right one. We didn’t have to wait very long and Mira checked us in smoothly with no problems. We were escorted to the elevators, up to the 21st floor, and led to our table which was roped off from the dance floor. Our waitress Rena greeted us and got us started. She poured our first shots for us and the rest of the night checked in make sure we were doing fine. We did spill a few drinks from having a little too much fun… but the busboys were so nice and were on top of keeping our area clean. Music by DJ Danny West was good although the transitions were wack. Crowd was good, it starts getting packed around 11/11:30. There are three bars and a patio area where you can fresh air. At one point, my friend and I were dancing(and clearly intoxicated) and we both slipped and fell on the floor. A bouncer came over and wanted to remove her from the club but we both pointed out that the floor was wet; my friend was able to reason with him and he let her stay! The busboy immediately cleaned up the floor as well. The same friend also lost her phone and panicked trying to find it. When the photographer saw her looking under our table, he came over and shined a light to help her see. The table next to us said one of the busboys had her phone and we were able to flag him down to get the phone back. Although Elevate closes at 2AM, they start shutting down the music and ushering people out at 1:45AM. We personally had no problems with this and none of the bouncers were rude when we took our time to pay the bill and leave. My advice to people considering this club is 1) follow the dress code– it’s not that hard, 2) check their Facebook for bottle service deals, 3) be friendly to the employees. I’m sure they have to deal with annoying, rude, drunk guests all night. If you’re respectful and nice to them there’s a good chance they’ll treat you the same way. Definitely plan to return here again.

My friend got bottle service for her birthday. It was for 20 people. Unfortunately, one of the guys wore sneakers and was denied entry. I know there’s a dress code, but it was a special event and she dropped a ton of cash. I feel like it could have passed, but that was just my opinion. We told the guy downstairs that we had table service, and he ushered us into a separate line. When we got upstairs, we were told by the doorman that we were in the wrong place and should have gone in a different way. It was a bit of a hassle, to be honest, but we finally got it all sorted out. However, we had to find our own table, because there was no one to take us there. Moreover, we were at the table for what seemed like forever before they actually brought out any bottles. There was ice and juice, but the birthday girl was a bit stressed at this point, and it would have been better if the set up had been better and everything ran more smoothly. The rest of the night was fun, however. There was one Asian due who was obviously on something. He was dancing all crazy by himself for hours and was running into people. It was entertaining to watch, but he should have probably been removed.

This has to be the absolute worst fucking place in all of Los Angeles. I have never met a staff that altogether sucks. I understand when one or possibly two people out of the entire army of employees that work at an establishment are having a bad night, but every single fucking person one after the other has an attitude… WTF. Was here for a birthday party. Enter Enemy #1: The door guy-total asshole and acts like he’s guarding the pentagon. Kindly walked up because my friend had bottle service(why would you ever pay for that here btw) and the guy at the front is a total dick. So because it’s my friend’s birthday and I have an obligation to be there, I dealt with it. No I don’t need you to explain the dress code to me, but thank you and do your job and I’ll go ahead and enjoy my night. So up the elevator I went: enter Enemy #2& Enemy #3: The girl at the window where you pay for entrance and the security guard next to her. No I don’t need to pay a cover charge(why would I ever do that to get in here?) because my friend has a table. So yes, I’m able to get into the club without having to pay, so again, security please do your job and I will go ahead and enjoy my night. Finally, after what seems like the biggest stick up everyone’s ass I get to my friends table. Enter Enemy #4: The bottle service girl. These girls are paid to be nice to you and whoever your bring to your table correct? Maybe I have this wrong, but I’m pretty sure after buying tables I understand how this works. Well, she didn’t. Her and her attitude for some reason couldn’t pour a vodka soda, thus forcing me to walk to the bar myself and pay for my drinks. The club itself is subpar, along with the music and crowd. If anyone of you are wondering to go out for a night and come here, I would highly advise to go anywhere else. I’m pretty sure you’d have a better time at Plan Check or 800 degrees. I can say that the nicest person I met who works here was the valet guy. So kudos to you dude! I never come to DTLA and stay to my usual Hollywood/Beverly Hills and now I know exactly why. It’s safe to say I will never be back here and will definitely tell everyone to not ever waste their time coming to a place like this. FAIL!

5 stars! Because of great company, went with a big group, bottle service! And had the wildest nights ever… Plus had the best kiss ever… The bathroom was packed and if u have to go badly omg u are gonna pee ur pants. And I was holding a drink when I went in the bathroom. I placed it down it was already finished but I just found it funny how some girl reached over from the stall next to me and stole the glass. Hahaha I guess she was having a wild night too. But still 5 stars becuz I had such a fun time!

I’m too old for nightclubs. This place is cool. Unbelievably diverse: age AND ethnicities There was a 21yr bday party AND a 40yr bday party that night Lez Lee was a great DJ: top 40, 90s, old school, and Spanish Dress code makes it a great environment THREE bars: I never waited longer than one person in front of me CARPET floors: Don’t have to worry about slipping in heels(besides the dancefloor) The view is not special. Valet $ 8. Street parking if there’s an Act of God.

It’s been six years since I’ve set foot in here. Back then, my buddies and I were having a going away sting for one of our friends that was moving away for pharmacy school. We chose this place as our final destination that evening. I liked the environment here. Much like The Standard, it’s high up on one of the skycrapers in Downtown LA. The lounge itself was popping, the drinks were strong, and the were nice sights to be seen. Fast forward to 2016, my buddy and I walked in here. For him, it has been longer since he’s been here(his last time was 2007). We both agreed that this lounge is still the same great place to party as back in the good old years. I have the same great things to say now about this place as I did back in 2010. I’ll be back with my cohort, and I’m considering bottle service here. Stay tuned.

I came here for a friends bday. The venue is amazing — very cool views of DTLA and open windows . The clientele was a bit strange… but it could just have been an «off» night. The music was ok, not mind blowing, but again — it could have just been an off night. I would come back and give this place another shot — the views alone and the way the bar is setup is really cool.

Great mix of people and ages. Music decent, drinks large which makes up for the price. Dresscode enforced. Men don’t wear shoes that have a white sole you will not get in. They need more bathrooms. Small bathroom for women.

We came here for a friend’s birthday party. It’s on top of the building, the windows are half open, so people can have some fresh air after dancing which is good. They have certain area for people smoking. They are very generous on the drinks, you definitely feel how strong the alcohol inside your drinks. We got a table and the chairs are very clean to compare with other clubs.

this place has it all. a big dance floor, diverse crowd, open area overlooking some of DTLA that is open to smokers, good DJs, and heavy hand pours for drinks. no complaints from me. some buddies and I came out here just to have a night out to catch up. a friend’s friend was DJing so we came out to see how it was. it was a while since i had been here before. but it was a good experience. lots of people, good music, good vibes. Its DTLA, so i am sure you know the parking situation. the end of the night may take a bit to get down, since everyone has to use the few elevators to get back down. but it wasn’t out of line.(no pun intended)

The worse place I’ve ever been too. Spent nearly $ 1000 for bottles and as soon as the birthday girl showed signs of having too much fun(drunk) they immediately wanted to kick us out. We walked her to the restroom, I kid you not there were 4 security guards surrounding us insisting that we leave. I mean I get that she was drunk but she wasn’t causing any problems, she needed the restroom and if security would have kindly assisted with that without making us feel harassed totally fine, we would have left after that. I told security we just bought a magnum bottle, his response«you can handle that downstairs». Pathetic! I don’t and won’t recommend this place. I will be contacting whoever I need to talk to about refunding our bottles and taking them to small claims court if necessary. Doesn’t hurt my pocket.

Went here last night after an amazing dinner at Takami. Celebrating a friends birthday the night got off to a great start until we walked across the hallway into elevate lounge. This was my first time at this club because I only frequent gay clubs but came here because my straight friend wanted to celebrate her birthday here. From the minute we hit the door the security was an asshole. Told us that three of our guests had already entered under the birthday girl’s name so three of us that were with the birthday girl would have to pay our cover charge to get in. Normally this would not be a problem, although we had pre-ordered bottle service and the eight complementary entries were those of us now standing at the door. When I corrected him and told him that they weren’t on the list but we were, in a condescending way he told me to calm down he would take care of everything and don’t worry, «you’ll get him». I don’t know who this club thinks they are, but they’re nothing but a bottom shelf venue trying to act and look like a top shelf club. Same issues as everyone else with the bottle service problems, the hostesses being dinghy, inattentive and taking forever to serve you. Drinks are completely overpriced and tasted horrible. I left early went on to something better. Never returning to this place again and in my business and in my line of work where we work with clientele that spend lots of money on nights out on the town, I’ll be sure to tell them and recommend to them to stay away from Elevate Lounge.

If I could give the server Tiffany and manager Gabriel Coble«0STARS» I would!!! We got a table reserved here and when we got there they wouldn’t bring the bottle out because they said the card was declining… When I pulled up my online banking it showed that not just ONE but TWO times my card was charged for the table. Now, all we were wanting was to get our bottle and have a good time, which is what I was telling the bimbo waitress. But she said its MY problem that the card was declining. Even when I showed her and the manager my online banking they still tried to put the blame on me. They said to call the bank have them sort it out… Ya ok! In a club with loud music in the background. All this to say, I was pulled aside and threatened to be kicked out because I was telling them it was there problem and they needed to rectify it. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! The sad part is, the place is actually really nice… Gabriel Coble and the pathetic waitress need a lesson on customer care 101! I will never go back to this place and will make it known to as many people as possible!!! Btw, I posted the pic of the transactions as proof.

The lounge is located on the 21st floor of the building across from Takami. There is valet on Lebanon St for $ 7 right next to Elevate or $ 6 across the street. I went for a friend’s birthday and I really enjoyed myself. Parking was a non-issue. We parked next door with valet for $ 7 and walked to the bouncers, only to find out there was a $ 6 valet lot across the street. Oh well, it was less walking anyways. The bouncers were nice and friendly, getting in with no issues. We took the elevator to the 21st floor. Elevate is on the left and Takumi is on the right. Got in and found out they have a photo booth and it’s free! All you have to do is give a phone number, choose between color, sepia, or black and white, and take 4 pictures. It’s kinda cramped, but we managed to squeeze 5 girls in. There’s only one printed copy, but they text you a copy as well as each individual picture. The restrooms are right by the entrance on the right hand side when walking in. There is only 3 stalls(at least for the women’s), so the line can get long. There’s hairspray, lotion, and even lollipops! Make sure to tip the attendant, she’s so nice! When we walked in the bar was really crowded, so we decided to find our group. The dance floor was fairly large and the DJ played a mix of hip hop, rap, EDM, and Latin music. There were couches and tables, but I don’t know if those were reserved. There is a smaller bar in the corner as well. The view is nice, even though it’s not as high as I anticipated. I like that it was open because the air felt refreshing and it didn’t feel stuffy. They do allow smoking and people were, but I didn’t even notice or smell smoke probably thanks to the open windows. One of the workers ended up giving us free drink vouchers. We order AMFs and man were they STRONG! So if you’re a lightweight ask for them to go easy or stick to one drink. They do have a photographer take pictures. He gave us his business card, which is basically Elevate’s Facebook page.

I looked up elevate lounge on Unilocal to find a place to celebrate my birthday so I thought I would give it a try! I called and was directed to a lovely lady named Tiffany! She was extremely attentive, quick, and friendly! She helped me set up a VIP table for about 20 of my friends. She emailed all paperwork and instructions I needed to do. Super easy and super quick! When I got there, the line to VIP was quick and easy. We were set up along the side where we had the outside view of the LA lights and buildings! Absolutely beautiful! The rest of the night went great! A little sad about the our host, she came once to have us sign our bill but then she was gone for the rest of the time. So a little weird for a hostess. But other than that… Great experience!!!

This place was so much fun! It’s clean and the crowd was pretty fun on a Friday night. Very diverse group of people. The bar doesn’t have a variety of drinks so that was a downside. I love the view from the lounge and the big windows makes it a very open space and you don’t feel hot & claustrophobic. The music is mostly Latin, which is great but i wish they played more hip hop music too. The bouncers are super friendly and overall I had a great time. I hope to be back!

I’ve been here twice for private events and had a great experience both times! The venue itself is really cool — it’s very modern and I love that it has a partly-open-to-the-outside portion. There’s a great view of DTLA and plenty of room to dance — it’s the perfect place to dress up, celebrate with friends, and get a clubby feel without the grodiness of Hollywood. I also love that they have a photobooth — it’s a little expensive, but the pictures come out really cute! Downtown needs more places like this! The only complaint I really have is that they could use a few more bartenders behind the bars — the bars stayed packed all night both nights which lead to overwhelmed bartenders and somewhat weak drinks. I recommend pregaming before arriving to save yourself a little cash.

Went to a special mixer event there the other night. Beautiful location, with a gorgeous view of the city. I don’t really like riding really fast elevators, but the club is on the 21st floor so I had no choice. I just waited for more people to arrive who were heading to the same place. We had plenty of room to mingle and walk around. The windows were open, and there was a very nice breeze coming in. Just gorgeous views of the city at night. My only complaint is the House Chardonnay is $ 15 a glass — and I saw the bartender pour it, and it was a brand of wine that I can buy at the grocery store for $ 8 a bottle. That was the one disappointing thing. I know it is a club, but if you are going to charge a lot for a glass of wine, make it a good brand. The parking however was reasonable. It is Valet right behind the building in the alley. I would still like to come back here another night — a warm summers night in Downtown LA.

But the view! Elevate was our destination for our clubbing night of the weekend and while my opinion is a little biased because we didn’t need to pay cover, I thought it was one of the more memorable clubs I’ve been to. The main feature, their open air walls, are truly incredible. I could be inside and outside at the same time, sweating and dancing my ass off in the crowd and then walk over to the other side of the room to enjoy the crisp cool air while watching the city lights. The music was also pretty good, with the DJ mixing up hip-hop and EDM. Unfortunately he didn’t really do a good job feeling the crowd and there were times when the music didn’t match what everyone wanted. Drinks per usual were expensive, but that’s nothing a quick pregame couldn’t solve. All-in-all, we had a blast, solidified friendships, and made a night of memories.

Elevate has been my go-to spot in DTLA for so many years now. The staff is amazing and never disappoint when we get bottle service here. My absolute favorite is Jayme and I can’t tell you how on point she is about everything! They renovated the inside a while ago, and it looks 10x better that what it used to. Dress to impress and be sure to check out the outdoor patio area for some great views of DTLA.

Visited this place last night for my friends birthday party. I have to say, I like the venue set up and location. It’s located in the heart of Downtown LA on the 21st floor… So you get to enjoy a nice view of the city while you hang out with friends, listen to some good tunes and have a drink or 2. There’s one bar(if only one side is open). What’s even nice is, the dance floor and seating area open to the outside so you get best of both worlds, of indoor and the outdoor experience. Bottle service is always the way to go. You get a nice table with security and a cocktail server that is there for you to serve. Plus you have room around your table to dance and basically do whatever you want. A few downfalls about Elevate: 1) sticky floors, which is something commonly stated in previous reviews. Also, parking. They offer Valet for $ 7, but if your lucky you can find minimum street parking. Lastly, the type of crowd is definitely of all ages… Last night there were some older customers(old enough to be my granny’s) and another observation was that the majority of the crowd were Asian and Latino. I would still highly recommend this place for those that get sick of the Hollywood scene, would like a less crowded scene but will still deliver the same amount of fun!

Held my birthday celebrations here and had an absolutely fantastic experience with my friends! You really can’t beat the views from the 21st floor. You are looking over some construction, but that’s going to be temporary. Also, where else can you get an outdoor feel while being indoors. The entire floor is open with high glass windows that you can look over — but not lean on. Wish I took some photos cause it was such a lovely night. Because there is so much fresh air, you are not dying from overheating on the dance floor. The AC was still cranked up though, cause it was still 70 degrees at 10PM that night! They do a lot for the comfort of their clientele which was definitely appreciated! Loved the staff at Elevate Lounge. Everyone was genuinely kind and nice from the ladies attending the restrooms to the bouncers walking around to the bartenders. They make sure you are keeping it responsible and classy. :) Music was awesome as well. They played some of my favorite old school jams while also throwing in some top 40s! We danced all night and had a great time! Ladies, you can have a great time here! Many of the dudes were respectful and cool when they wanted to dance and I never felt violated — I didn’t have to put the beat down on anyone that night. :) I think it has a lot to do with how they expect their patrons to dress and act — classy! The dudes in my group loved this place too. They were jammin’ and loving the drinks and the views — outside and inside the club *ahem*. LOL! Valet if you drive. UBER if you don’t! Get there early(before 9:30pm) and you don’t have to wait in line — just go straight to the bar restaurant. The service is crappy at the restaurant the closer you get to 9PM but it is still nice to grab a drink before you and your party walk over to Elevate.
