This is my go to stop when I’m feeling lazy and need my Mexican food fix. Thank god it’s right across the street from my apartment. This place is delicious whether if im sober or wanting late night drunchies. Everything on their menu is absolutely amazing. This place is one of my favorite spots to go to for a torta cubaba. You can’t go wrong with the empanadas or a cabeza burrito either. I’ve probably tried almost everything on their menu and nothing has ever disappointed me. Their salsa and pickled onions are on point as well. All their food is fresh and authentic. This place always hits the spot! Best part about this taco truck is that unlike most taco trucks, they accept credit/debit card.

One of the better taco trucks I’ve been to. Very tasty taco and burrito. No prices listed though from what I remember, what’s that all about?

Me and my cousin split the nachos and the burrito. It was delicious. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was the first meal we had since getting to LA from Miami. I would definitely go again.

What I had from their menu: * 2 Carne asada tacos * 1 tripita aka tripa taco * 1 cecina taco * 1 chorizo mulita This is my first time visiting this Taco food truck and let me just say that it was not a bad experience. I love that they have freshly hand made tortillas. I tried to get a mix it up a little to get a good sense of their food, and well everything I got was really good. I do have my favorite Taco spot, which is my 5 out of 5 stars Taco spot, and that’s really why these guys did not get five stars.

By far the BEST taco truck I have ever been to! I love their carnitas tacos! Their rice and beans are a little blah but nothing a little lime juice or spice can’t fix.

This taco truck has options. This taco truck has a photo(with description) menu. This taco truck has a cash register and takes credit cards. WHATTT?!? That’s awesome and unheard of for me. I did a triple take on that when I saw it while ordering. El Tauro Taco is parked on Wilshire near Vermont right by the Southwestern Law School campus. What brought me there was the torta cubana and it did not disappoint. The torta cubana was big, messy and packed with meat, egg, meat and more meat. There was ham, there was bacon, there was egg, there was skirt steak and there was a random hot dog inside the cuban torta as well. Haha… Oh, there was also some lettuce and the requisite mayo in this monster torta as well. It was good. It tasted great but it was messy. We decided to take it to-go and attempted to eat it in the car. We also got tacos, sopes and an empanada. I had my hands full with the torta so I wasnt able to sample anything else. Next time I will. There are so many options on this truck. Some things, I’ve never heard of like alambres & gringas. They all looked and sounded great from their descriptions. They also serve nachos. Something to keep in mind for next time. I definitely recommend El Tauro Taco if you’re in the area and what good taco truck options.

The BEST carnitas tacos!!! The meat is so perfect and tender and juicy. The tortillas are so perfect. I am so glad this is near my apartment and open late as it’s such a superior alternative to the fast food joints nearby. The salsa verde is so bomb. I did get a quesadilla asada as well and it was delicious.

Convenient parking in the gas station where the truck is parked next to. I ordered some of their carne asada tacos and I also had to try the horchata of course! The horchata was amazing. Lightly sweet, the cinnamon flavor wasn’t too overwhelming, and not watered down. I’d come back just for horchata. Having rapidly gulped down that 16oz deliciousness, I barely had room for the tacos themselves. They have small containers of condiments(cucumbers, picked onions, cilantro, etc) and 3 different sauces(green one’s the spiciest). I piled on cucumbers and onions and then slathered all three sauces on my tacos. Ah, spicy! I honestly wasn’t too impressed with the tacos. The meat was nicely marinated and the soft taco held up nicely against the filling, but I may try something else on their menu next time. Bottom line: try the horchata.

Late night food adventure! It took us only About 10 mins from where we were in Boyle heights. Had the sopes except without meat and hands down, Fullfilling! Considering I haven’t had homemade ones in years! Definitely coming back soon!

I’ve been having their tacos since ’09 and I still go :) from my experience the guys are nicer the new girls I stay away from(: Their carnitas, asada and chicken are good just tell them what you want and they’ll grill, fry or quench your thirst. #BlackTacoTruck #Yum

Always impressive. This place is walking distance from my home and it’s never disappointing. The food is hand made and fresh. I appreciate the prices too. Three meals for under $ 20. It’s very affordable. You can sit out side their food truck or you can take your food home. I think it’s awesome you have that option. It’s next to LACC so if you are hungry and are wanting great Mexican food, go here !! I enjoy the burritos, empanadas and super quesadillas(vegetarian) only.

My new after hours spot! Great authentic food! I recommend the sopes molitas or super quesadilla! Good prices and great food! Very fresh and their avacado salsa is delicious as well! The lady at the window is always sweet! I’m a fan of flaming taco… but this place is less greasy and way shorter of a wait! Cant go wrong with their tacos either! Definitely a spot i will continue to go to!

Was hoping to get some Pinch of Flavor at 1am on a Wednesday night, but they closed early. Unilocaled & decided to come here. I ordered a torta Cubana & beef empanada. My bf ordered chicken mulitas and quesadilla. Would have gave this place 4 stars, but they ran out of everything we initially wanted. They had no fries for the steak fries, no fish mulitas and no chicken empanadas. However, I still left satisfied. The torta cubana was good – very flavorful. I could only finish 1⁄3. The empanada is one of the best I’ve had. And huge! The crust is crispy & flaky. I often see empanadas as an appetizer but I would treat this one as a meal. I was incredibly full, but finished 1 whole empanada because it was that delicious. Will be back again, & hopefully before they run out of anything!

Ordered tacos, empanadas, nachos, and a torta. Tacos were my favorite, least greasy of them all. Empanadas gave me heartburn. Nachos were cheesy. Torta was greasy. Overall ok. Wouldn’t look for this truck again. All for $ 28. I don’t know how much each item is since the menu doesn’t show prices.

I’ve passed by this food truck so many times but never considered eating from it — i thought it was just a regular ‘lunch truck.’ This food truck is excellent, I ordered the Special Combo with Beef Milanesa — delicious. My friend ordered an Enchilada and Chicken Empanada and gave me the extra piece of Empanada. It was great, the crust is crunchy and light and the chicken and cheese filing was very good. I will be eating from this place from now on.

Docked a star for not putting prices on the items, but other than that, the food was GREAT. The giant pictures of food on the side of the truck was very appealing and so I ended up getting TWO items to try. I’m so greedy. Huarache — $ 5 Carne Asada, cactus, cheese, beans on fried masa base. I got this purely for the cactus. My dad would get cactus strips from the Mexican market and make dishes out of them, so I love cactus! This was really good too :) Mulita — $ 3.50 I chose Chicken but probably should’ve gotten the Al Pastor. They look like tortilla sandwiches with the meat, cheese, avocado and beans inside. Still enjoyed it though! I was only supposed to get the Mulitas themselves, but I ended up with rice and beans on the side too. Beans were very smooth! I’m not too into beans but I liked this one. Open late, they got tables for you to sit at, and a cilantro/onion/cucumber salsa bar! Friends also got enchiladas, burritos, and super quesadilla. They were all raving about their food. :) YUM!
