Waited 40 minutes for 3 burritos and the restaurant was not crowded. Will not be returning. Ridiculous!

This has to be the worse Mexican I have ever had. Carne Asada has no flavor what so ever. Presentation was sloppy. Only good part is the portion is large, but if it’s nasty do you really want to eat it. Yuck, pass on this place.

One of the few places in the area that is open late. I ordered Chicken Taquitos and they were ok. A bit soggy to my liking. They provide chips and salsa if you eat in. The salsa is a bit on the spicier side. This place will do the job if you’re looking for some Mexican food. Enjoy!

$ 8 for 2 tacos and you want to charge .50 for a little salsa? Really? The tacos are not even that fabulous! Keep it. I don’t need to come back.

Grew up in SOCAL but now live in Florida. Quick one day fly in to LAX then on to Asia. My oldest son drove from UCSB and we decided to try this place, convenient to the location. Took my 8 year old too. MAN! What a find! The salsa is freshly made and served with whole corn tortillas. Hard and crunchy. We had grande burritos and a tostada that I asked them to make with carnitas, cilantro, tomatoes, lettuce and avocado only. Yum! The portions of any dish is enough for two easily. If you’re down near Sepulveda LAX area stop in. You’ll be delighted.

THEWORSE«mexican food» … a GOOD mexican restaurant has a GOOD salsa this place has NONE!!! the carne asada is dry, rubbery! They charge $ 3.00 more for carne asada in a burrito but when u get the carne asada burrito for which you paid an extra $ 3 it has less meat than a taco! NEVEREVERAGAIN!!!

One of my favorites. I crave El Tarasco for a few weeks and then I finally give in. We went on Cinco de Mayo on a whim and got seated right away. Take out is great too! Friendly staff, good service.

Cheese enchiladas awesome. Red sauce so good!!! Open late! Have beer & wine. Salsa is so flavorful & chunky. Had some heat to it but it is very good! Pork tamale so tender.

Disappointed. Food its all right but not for the price. I order a Super Deluxe wet burrito and my burrito didn’t look nothing like in the picture. My burrito only had that top sauce on top with no cheese, guacamole or cream. If you want a good Mexican meal go to Casa Gamino in Inglewood or Gloria’s Restaurant in HP.

Stopped here because it was close to me on the map when driving through — not a bad find at all. Had one of the best Carne Asada Wet Burritos, ever. Super tasty. Comes with Pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. They serve chips as service when you sit. Super casual but not disappointed at all.

One of the best chorizo com huevos with refrained beans, specially if you come after hours.

I ordered a tilapia plate, but the middle part of the fish was raw. That’s a health hazard.

I was told to go here by a friend. We are definitely still friends after this recommendation! Standard Juniors Super Deluxe with steak. Chips, salsa, two glasses of wine. $ 25 with tip. Stupid good food. The red sauce is amazing and I may have to move to the west coast just to eat there. Beer and wine only.

This restaurant is a locally owned family chain. They have the best guacamole around. Unlimited chips and salsa. The food is very authentic and nice and greasy. The one on Sepulveda is quite old with rundown booths and tables. But don’t let the tacky, gritty Decore keep you from enjoying a good solid meal. This is a very good budget restaurant. If you are a regular, tip the staff well and they will not forget you

The food here is good, authentic Mexican. The menu is varied, the salsa is great and the chips and taco shells are made in house. We had a cheese enchilada, crisp beef taco plate and guacamole taquito plate. The cheese enchilada was stuffed with cheese and more was melted on top of the thick, flavorful red sauce– delicious! The taco shells were house made and stuffed with beef, lettuce and tomato. The refrieds weren’t watery, and the rice was well seasoned. The taquitos were not the tightly rolled affairs you usually get. They were substantial, and the guac also seemed to be house made. Chunky and spiced right. The staff were very busy, every table was full, but they made sure to check frequently if all was well. And they had no problem bringing extra salsa to our salsa addict table!

Since it shares a parking lot with our favorite Paco’s Tacos which had a 35 minute wait on a Saturday night, we saw the lights for this place. Our son, who now lives in Seattle so therefore craves a true So Cal taco shop thought this place looked great so we headed in from the parking lot side, walked to the front and were seated in one of the booths within minutes with homemade tortilla chips and a spicy salsa set in front of us. We immediately asked for three separate bowls of the salsa since the first was inhaled in 1.3 seconds. My enchilada was served on a plate too hot to touch, aka homemade great enchilada with melted cheese and a nice sauce. My potato taco was huge and delicious. Son liked his taquitos, but alas the homemade Guac was placed between the rice and beans which thwarted his mixing of the two, otherwise it all tasted good. I had a surprisingly good ample pour cabernet. Beer, margaritas and pina coladas are also available. A nice lower key option to Paco’s Tacos and only five minutes from LAX when you are heading or returning from taco-less Europe, South Seas, or Asia and must have your salsa fix.

El Tarasco… Serving up mediocre Mexican with run-of-the-mill customer service since black and white television programming was prevalent. Located on Sepulveda and Manchester,… a hot tamale from LAX, this neither fancy nor elaborate ‘hole in the wall’ of an establishment has seemingly made a name for itself. Boasting a number of locations from Manhattan Beach(Sepulveda and or an additional location on Rosecrans/Highland) down to San Pedro and back up to El Segundo(and this particular location in Westchester) — I can’t state w/any concrete conviction that I’m a die hard fan of their food and I’d duly not be willing to travel any bit out of my way for it. Hmm… Call me ‘loco’, but I can’t help but shake the sentiment that their enchilada/wet burrito sauce is fresh from the can and while I tend to dive in head first for authentic chips and salsa, there’s no guarantee that you’ll actually find it here. While I’ve observed customer service to be pretty«spotty», I’ve gathered that to vary from location to location. What I have noticed to be consistent, however, is their product. Each location offers daily specials, Monday — Friday and unlike these other bootleggers charging for chips/salsa, this place provides all of that for free. #gracias Anticipate visiting this location OR either of the aforementioned and receiving bountiful portions all at rock bottom prices that(…scratches head) seem to fluctuate for some odd reason shooting any theories on consistency in that aspect completely down the commode. I’d definitely recommend the staff at this particular location as opposed to the others as I found them all to be amazing yet… I can’t state the same for the other locations as once, at another location, a friend of mine was denied wine(and requested to leave) for gaining weight and/or not appearing exactly as he did on his driver’s license. No bueno. Offering outside seating and/or several wall mounted televisions you’d think this would be the«place to be» yet and once again,…with all of the other options for Mex– around and in absolute abundance, the question thereon becomes: AREYOUWILLINGTOSETTLE — ?

The food is fresh and good. I ordered the«Tarasco Burrito» carne Asada for lunch. They get-it! They understand is lunch and it must be good and fast. It was literally less than a minute after he took my order that I had fresh chips & salsa and my Jamaica drink. And less than 3 minutes later I had my burrito! As soon as I was done with my burrito, they noticed and immediately got my dirty dish out of my way. While I sit here writing this review — I get a free refill on my Jamaica! Parking is HORRIBLE! It took me 10+minutes driving in circles around the parking lot to get a space. This is the only reason I don’t give them 5 stars.

Ok, so the atmosphere ain’t much, but those tacos and burritos are YUMMY! Also love their gynormous chips and spicy red salsa! Tried their guac and liked it in my burrito, but wasn’t so much a fan of having it as an appetizer, since I like my guac chunky and spicy. This was neither, but the portion sizes were great! Had the chicken taco and the chicken was incredibly flavorful. Doused that thing with the salsa and had a ball. My dining companion had the chicken burrito and was in heaven. This is apparently his«go to» place every time he lands at LAX… it even trumps the In N Out for him. That’s saying something. These guys have efficient take-out too. Totally worth a stop and a bite if you’re in the area. Especially if it’s lunch time!
