Worse place in the area. Dirty, nasty, and freezers have not been cleaned since it opened. I’ve seen better parking lots in a war zone. Service was horrid. Check out took more than 20min followed by a racist employee that hurled insults at us. Place needs to be torn down and salt sewed into the ground so nothing ever grows here again.

The service at this supermarket is very very slow, from the meat department to the cashiers! Out of nine cash registers only three are open and the lines are long! If you’re in a hurry don’t come here! Don’t ruin your day by coming here.

The customer service is terrible. The lines are ridiculously long. They may have good specials on the produce but be prepared to wait an absurd amount of time in line.

Worst parking lot around! Not worth the door dings to try and shop here. They are the sub compact size, did this stupid company really make out by not using 1 or 2 spaces divided into the other spaces and make it easy to park, just lost a couple hundred dollar sale, now down the street at Food for Less.

The worst market in town! Super dirty, the meat department smells HORRIBLE, the line to check out is ridiculous! Three cashiers only. The parking lot is full of shopping carts! SERIOUSLY, WHO’S RUNNING THIS PLACE. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE COMMUNITY. They deserve better. I live in Long Beach and was passing by Wilmington, the El Super in downtown Long Beach is better. Even if the area is worse. LAST TIME I SHOP HERE!!!

Very rude, horrible customer service, I wouldn’t recommend this 3rd world piece of garbage store/​market to my worse amigo/​amiga, enemy! I will never step foot that store! As far as I’m concern, El Super can kiss my fucking ASS!

Why do I keep coming here? Their line to pay is so ridiculously long — I’ve called their hotline several time to address the issue but yet I have not heard from them. I would give them a 5 star for their produce, meat, and bakery departments but their customer service (cashier area) is horrible!!!

Does anyone else love checking out grocery stores or super markets when visiting other places? I have this strange little love for doing just that, but especially in a different country or ethnic neighborhood than my own. El Super was a fun place to visit. I’ve gotten very familiar with Mexican markets over the years, and El Super has a reasonably good selection of items at a good price. For example, the small ass avocados are 5 for $.99 (See photo). Along with fresh produce, there is a nice selection of ready made ceviches, salsas and beautiful looking cakes and pastries. If I lived near here, I’d be a regular. this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Great prices. Always at el super! This one is in Wilmington which is close to Long Beach. Which is where I live and work. This «El Super» will see this gringo again!

Pretty good place to get groceries. A bit cheaper than the more popular super markets. The store has been going through renovations since about 2 – 3 months. They took over the previous store Valu Plus. They have lots of good deals on many of there products on a weekly basis. If you are looking specifically for Latin products then this is the place to go. They have a lot. From cheese to soda and candy. They also have a tortilla shop inside the store, so if you want to spend less money on tortillas you can buy the store brand they are good. They also have a butcher shop inside if you want specific types of meat. My only issue with this store is the parking. It’s not great. It’s a bit small since they share parking with like 9 – 10 other small stores. Check this place out.
