Really good PUPUSAS at the worst location! So delicious! They are fresh, big and non-greasy. I picked up their SQUASH/CHEESE pupusa and PORK pupusas and they were a hit with my family. The salsa and cabbage relish that came with it were delicious too. I like that it didn’t have too much oregano. I’d definitely get it again. Customer service was great. The ladies that helped me were really nice. It’s located in a small dirty business plaza. I say dirty because there were trash everywhere on the ground and the parking sucks. Also, there was a transvestite dressed provocative clothes and excessive makeup who appeared to be drunk in front of the restaurant waving at people. I wouldn’t dine in, but I see myself coming back to pick up their pupusas ^_^.

Excellent pupusas of a good size for the price, which ranges between 2.10−2.50 each. However the wait times can vary widely. Also, while the staff is nice, be sure to check that they didn’t overcharge you. They generally don’t give a receipt and have charged normal price on the 99 cent days to us before.

I love the popusas here. I’m Mexican and I’m not very familiar with Salvadorean cuisine other than popusas but the ones here beat all others I’ve ever had. My boyfriend loves the caldo de gallina india which he claims to be very flavourful and great for hangovers. They have a variety of Salvadorean brews which I like such as Pilsener and SalvaVida. The owner is always very nice and attentive. Parking can be a bit of a struggle at times but that’s pretty common anywhere in LA. For those complaining about being ghetto, well it is Boyle Heights. If you want fancy then don’t come here. If you want to enjoy a good authentic Salvadorean meal and drink at a decent price check this place out.

This place is ghetto i came here for pupusas they took 40 min with only 2 ppl ahead of us i had my daughter with me and she was hungry. I asked the waitier tjat looks like she had 2 black eyes if we can have chips and sauce while we wait and she said no with an attitude only for ppl who eat here. I dodint want to argue before all this i bought fruit with agua fresca the fruit was(sour) uhhh it seems like only drunks come here. The place is dirty but im no longer coming here. The pupusas where good but ahhh ill stick to mexican food BETTER! I dont wanna be a sterotype but Salvadorans are greddy no offense.

Pretty good for typical hole in the wall place. The food tastes authentic and the prices are decent. We always pick up never dine in, the inside is not bad looking either. Just wish parking wasn’t an issue but what can you expect(Boyle heights problems) which I’m usto by now. Try the pupusas they are delicious.

I love Salvadorean food and this place is a hidden gem. Right off the freeway and you are moments away from the best of El Salvador! Friendly and quick service. Food was fresh and hot! Pupusas were fresh, not too greasy. Nothing else like fresh seafood. Come on down, you will love it!

I work in east LA and omg… love these pupusas. They are delicious. Never disappoint! I made a big catering order with them and they are super helpful, very reliable, and they provide everything that I can use. Love this place. :)

Perfect for Salvadorian’s craving sweet, thick, well made pupusas. Don’t forget to ask for more sauce to go. Even if you aren’t Salvadorian, you’ll feel comfortable because the waiters are nice.

This a really good local spot. The pupusas are so delicious, the juices are refreshing & the servers are friendly & accommodating. It’s a family owned/run business, which I like cuz there’s nothing better than a local family living the American dream. Oh and they have beer too!

The service, the food and the vibe is excellent. Always So welcoming here. Always greeted with a huge smile by the awesome owner. Feels like family. The food is darn good. So authentic! A must try and come. You won’t regret it. Don’t let the location be discouraging because this place could use a makeover. Happy feasting!

Small restaurant, nothing fancy but delicious food! The service is also great, the owner was very friendly and seems to be very proud of his food. He gave me samples of all their aguas frescas, I highly recommend the horchata. It’s made with out dairy and tastes amazing! Their caldos and platanos are also great.

I went for the first time last year and really liked the food, going later I was very put off by the rude waitress that attended my party. But I went this past week after not having gone for months and I noticed that the rude waitress no longer worked there and they redid the restaurant. It’s much more inviting and classy. I really liked it. I recommend to any person looking for yummy Salvadoran food.

I had a great experience here! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I got the Pupusas Revuelta and Veggie. Both were delicious especially the Veggie. I would highly recommend it. I also got the Filete de Pescado and that was delicious as well.
