Descent spot for having condom wrappers outside the front door. I’d go again if I were in the area.

When you find an empty bottle of Night Train on the floor I think they don’t mind if you bring in a drink in from the liquor store next door. The pupusas were solid, the curtido was a bit rubbery but if I’d had a little Night Train I wouldn’t mind at all.

Pretty solid choice for Mexican/El Salvadoran food. My boyfriend got the carne asada burrito, which he said was a little bland, but I tasted it and thought it was good. I got two pupusas, which ended up being too much for me, but they were quite tasty. I got a side order of rice, which I really liked, but again my boyfriend just thought was okay. This is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place that seemed unsure about how to treat us since we were not Hispanic(the menu is only in Spanish so come prepared with a knowledge of Mexican food), but I would still go back despite some awkwardness. For $ 11 we got a carne asada burrito, 2 cheese pupusas, 1 grapefruit Jarritos, and a large side of rice. I ended up with a whole pupusa and about half of the side of rice left over, so a really good value for the price. Definitely not fancy by any stretch of the imagination(there was a guy drinking a beer from a paper bag at another table), but I felt it had a lot of character. Not sure if they take credit cards, but I would strongly assume cash only.
