Like the previous reviewer, this is my 2nd time eating here. The place is very clean and the ladies in the kitchen are very friendly. The menu is Salvadorian(Guatemalan? Guatemalan) first and foremost, but still has all the Tacos and Burritos you’d expect from a «Mexican food» restaurant. They also have good breakfast options. I had Machaca and Eggs; they were quite good. Décor is modest but clean. Bring cash, as they don’t accept anything else. Also, bring your best High School Spanish before ordering, as I don’t think much English is spoken here. 5 stars because its desperately needed good walkable restaurant for the Jefferson Park neighborhood.

This is my second time eating here. The place is clean and the ladies in the kitchen are friendly. The kitchen is clean, and so is the bathroom. I’ve only had the Caldo de Res(beef and vegetable soup.). It’s good but it’s not Mexican style. It is Salvadorean style but it’s still good. I like it with more onions and cilantro and hot sauce, but it’s very good and hearty. It is served with homemade corn tortillas and rice.
