El Pollo Loco

I live by the area and this El Pollo Loco Location is closest to me. I have been in the area for 4 years and this is my first time coming to this place after so many times passing by it. I guess I chose a wrong time as they didn’t have rice and it was 7pm! Doesn’t the majority of their menu have items with rice in it?!? The service was very slow. Definitely be the last time I come to this location.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SLOW AS SH1T.
Stand for 15 minutes to an empty cashier during RUSH HOUR. One freaking cashier! Bathrooms are constantly disgusting. Customers have tattoos on their face and a transient stands outside begging for food and $.
It i came here again, id truly be freaking loco.

So to start off this location is in the worst part of LA. The store was understaffed when I placed my order. Ending up in an item I did not order, how hard was it for the employee to let me know that they no longer had crispy tacos when I ordered crispy tacos. At the moment of returning them, the manager by the name of Victoria simply snatched the tacos and continued taking an order from another customer. The cleanliness of the store was bad. Dirty tables and no attempt at keeping them clean. When requested to please clean the table the employees just turn to avoid being given the task.
The food is the same old Pollo Loco chicken.

Love the food not this location or its service really.
The place seems to get super packed, but they close off a big piece of their dining room at 7:30. Idk why since there was a huuuge dinner rush right after that and I’m sure it’s not just a one time thing. The area is pretty bad I guess so I’m not surprised by the quality of this El Pollo Loco.
If you want to grab something to go, this place is great :)

This El Pollo Loco is in the hood with a small parking lot behind it. I walked in here during lunch time and it was a mess. There were only two cashiers open and long lines.
The interior was a mess. It may just be that it’s short staffed.

I love El Pollo Loco and eat there frequently. Usually I drive through, but tonight I had purchased a new car from a dealer down the street from this location. While the shop cleaned up my car I stopped into El Pollo Loco for a late dinner. I have never been to this specific location before.
I was absolutely APPALLED by this restaurant. I walked in at 9:20 pm on the dot. There was not a single customer in the restaurant. This location closes at 11 so there was plenty of time to order and eat. The people behind the counter were standing around talking to each other and laughing. It took 5 full minutes to be acknowledged and have my order taken. I place my order and get my drink. The salsas had been taken out of the bar and placed around the iced teas. I get my drink and go to sit down. EVERY single table was filthy! 4 of 6 napkin holders had no napkins. Trash and food were on the floors tables and seats. I cleaned off my own table and sat down. I left at 10:15pm. (Like I said I was waiting for my car to be finished up) I was there for 50 minutes and not one single person cleaned up the dining area. I sat in complete filth. It was so horrible that I took pictures.
I have never been so disgusted by any restaurant in my life.
