Ok so let’s look at what you get when you go here… 1. People can’t understand you and you can’t understand them when ordering. 2. It simply stinks to high heaven inside. 3. They have to have armed security to stop the homeless from coming inside and begging constantly. 4. Their employees go on break and you can see them drinking against the wall or next to the adjacent building. Yea I will choose somewhere else to get mediocre food lol.

The Workers at this particular locations tends to slip and you never know when there having a good day the chicken I ordered was burnt and dry as the desert and they over charged me as well.

The consistency of the food brings me back to Pollo Loco. It’s not my top choice for a dining experience and sometimes the help make mistakes, but when I’m in a rush, I can depend on PL to delevier a tasty meal.

For what it is, and that is fast food chicken, cleanly prepared, and possible to reduce the calories by eliminating things like the cheese or sour cream. I find it to be tasty and if you avoid the taco shell, which is hard to do… thehelp at this location is rather heavily Hispanic, which means that English is not the language of choice. And it’s noisy… but with coupons, it’s my neighborhood fast food choice. And they bend over backwards to be pleasant and more than just polite. I found Bonnie(I hope that’s the name of the woman who waited on me) to really try and present a wonderful image. that’s hard to find in a lot of these type of places. I was a little unnerved by the security guard, but unlike the ones at trader joes on fairfax and whole foods downtown, they don’t immediately react to looking at me and then pretend they aren.t. I prefer to follow the Queen’s approach and rise above but it is hard… however, some other time. El Pollo Loco doesn’t put on airs. three cheers.

Okay, it used to be Panda Express. Now, it is this particular El Pollo Loco. Not exactly what I call guilty pleasure or even cheap thrill. When I have the utmost horrifying week and don’t want to be bothered with one ounce of anything, you can usually find me scooping salsa in little cups here. Of course, that is after I purchase my 2-piece dark meat meal with sides of Spanish rice and coleslaw. This spot is walking distance to my place, so I am here by default. That doesn’t mean the service isn’t great. In fact, it is beyond great. They must be passing out some sort of happy pills because cashiers are usually smiling and the folks who pack the orders are always full of energy. The food? It is El Pollo Loco. Nearest Metro Station: Red Line at Hollywood/Western

I felt compelled to write about this location. The have the standard El Pollo Loco menu. What I feel sets this place apart is their service. The moment I walked in someone greeted me and was ready to take my order. He took the time to go over their limited time items. I asked him if they include military in their Service Discount. There are other locations nearby that do not honor the discount for military members. The gentleman was very enthusiastic in telling me that the do indeed include members of the military in their Service Discount. He went on to ask me where I served and then thanked me profusely for my service. I really appreciate that. I love it when businesses recognize members of the military.

I was in this place twice. Clean, fast, tasty. What need more for fast food? It’s just good place to get a fast meal in Hollywood

I never thought I’d write a review for a fast food spot but I have to give it to this pollo loco. This is the closest location to where I live and I come here at least once a week. The food is always great, but what I really want to acknowledge is the customer service. It is so memorable that I had to write a review. EVERY time I come here, I am greeted with a friendly smile, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in how my day is going and if there are any extras I’d like with my meal. I usually come here exhausted and starving after work and can genuinely say after I pull through this place I feel like I’m in a better mood because the employees have put a smile on my face. Keep it up and know that these things don’t go unnoticed

I don’t know what it is about this pollo loco and I don’t know why I keep coming back. Probably because the other ones are so good. I keep giving this one a chance but they always fail. Always. This one closes at 10 but I just went into the dining room at 8:55 and the guy tells me that they are only taking cash and that I have to go through the drive thru. I have been working all day and I am starving and I don’t have cash but this guy says sorry, they can’t accommodate me. I ask to speak to the manager who than tells me that they can take my debit card but he has to move the entire register. Making me feel like it would be a hassle. For once I would like for this pollo to surprise me and offer good or at least decent service. So hungry and disappointed. I just walked out

I usually am a frequent customer at this particular location but I wont be anymore. Last week I went into this Pollo Loco to eat(I always get a breast & wing but only eat the breast) at around six pm. Immediately after I ate I felt an uneasy feeling but I thought I was just tired so I ignored it. About an hour later I started getting sharp pains in my stomach. The whole night I had terrible, terrible pain & throwing up. I went to the doctor and was told I had a virus from eating chicken that wasnt properly cooked. Not going back to this location anymore.

If I could give this place NO stars. I would love that option. We came in, as soon as we do we are not even greeted. Cashier answers with«alright I gotchu» for any request continues what he is doing and when he feels like it comes back to do what you asked. When the order is taken, every single table inside that restaurant is filthy. No sauce or plastic cups to put the salsa in. I asked for some and it literally took like 10 mins to get someone to put some out. No forks, no napkins, seemed like every employee was focused on the drive-thru orders than the people inside. Drive-thru or not, we are all customers. Horrible service is an understatement. Disgusted overall with the service and the employees. Will NEVER be coming to this location again.

This place sucks. Drive Thru is a joke. They always mess up the order and takes a long, long time. Don’t go for lunch. You’ll spend your whole lunch waiting.

Great customer service and the food is always well done. The place is clean and it seems like the staff is on top of their salsa bar it’s hardly ever dirty or low on any iteam.

I come here whenever I’m in the LA area and the food is always so good! I believe there is a new employee named Andy because he didn’t look familiar and I caught a glance at his name tag. He took my order and he was so polite and was so patient when I took forever with my order! Great customer service!

One has to assume that this El Pollo Loco has some ethical aversion to making a correct order. Incorrect orders, missing items, and the general sense of «wha?» the permeates through the drive thru speaker box are as constant as the Earth going ’round the sun. Tonight they decided we would really like dry salad and the opposite tortillas from what we had ordered. This in and of itself is pretty much par for the course at this establishment. The straw that broke the camel’s back was after arriving home, realizing there was no dressing, and returning to the restaurant, we were told they refused to give us dressing. Is it that precious? I’ve been, sadly, going to this particular El Pollo Loco for years and there is no way we were the first people today to have had an f***ed up order. With their track record, where do they get off questioning the validity of someone’s missing condiment claims?

Usually messy and kind of expensive. The service takes for ever half the time there is no one at the register. The food isn’t that good and their salsa and condiment station is usually pretty nasty. Just wish this place was nicer.

Horrible customer service. Jonathan doesn’t smile or greet us. When he took our order through drive thru, he was not paying attention to our order. He repeated our order at least three times to ask if it was correct. To top that off, he forgets some items in our order.

Needs to open at 10am not 10:15am as they did to us a few days ago on the middle of the week. Doesn’t make sense when the sign posted on the window says 10am. Also there bathroom needs a new sink. Useless bathroom. Couldn’t even wash my hands before getting my early lunch there. Needs improvements.

It’s still not possible to not give a venue Negative Stars– damn It’s 930pm when I decide I want a salad from here, decided to try what my hubby got last time– the ultimate double steal tostada salad The steak tho, aside from it being over peppered and mostly burned, ITWASCOLD — that’s all
