If I could give NOSTARS I would do so. This location needs to be closed down. The drive threw is horrible! Today we were given the wrong order, last week I asked for black beans in my salad I was still given pinto beans. The manager doesn’t care, I’ve talked to him 2 weeks in a row. His response to me being home with the wrong order is «soooo do you want to come back». Hell no I’m back at work and I’m ready to eat! Close this place the hell down!!!

Seriously mad ass hell ! I ordered my food and my buzzer started ringing and my order was ready I told her it was my order and she told me to wait so I waited and then they hand her another Oder and she helps them. In total they were two orders they passed before me and the girl MARIXA looks and me and smirks and I told her can I have my order please I’m in a hurry and she turned and told me «I could take as long as I want». NEVEREVERHASANYONEANYWHERETALKEDTOMELIKETHATESPECIALLYFORSOMETHINGIMPAYINGFORANDISREADY. I spoke to the manager and he didn’t seem to care. I honestly will never come here again. And she’s lucky I would of gone to jail if not I would of beat her ass !!!

Severely pissed off! I came to this location very hungry around 8pm. I ordered the wing lovers with 2 side salads. I get home getting ready to devour my wings, and low and behold, the wings were cold, dry and brittle. Utterly disgusting. I am so mad because I’m so hungry. This location needs to close. Because of my overwhelming hungry I was forced to eat these dead ass wings, but I will never visit this location again.

Horrible service and food. Went through drive through for 1 burrito. First, no carne asada and it was barely lunch time. 2nd, no avocado in my avocado burrito. 3rd, took 2 minutes to get hot sauce. And these guys want $ 15 an hour? Give me a f-in break!

I wouldn’t give them a star! The manager is very unhelpful, granted he is busy but he should make time to talk to the patrons. He didn’t know how long guacamole or pico de gallo would take to refill(when one of his employee’s were making it in the back) all he had to do was check. The service was just horrible! I wouldn’t go to this location if my life depended on it.

I am a loco fan, and I occasionally get my pollo through the drive-thru but thus restaurant’s is ridiculously slow. It’s been already ten minutes and I still have 5 cars in front. Bad, bad service.

What happened?! Went during lunch time and we actually got our food quickly. Manager was running the line of food getting out. Cashiers were friendly and efficient. I swore I would never come back to this location BUT maybe something has turned this place around. I love El Pollo Loco. I hope this location can keep it together.

this is the slowest, nastiest el pollo loco ever… everytime i come here it takes 10 – 15 minutes just to get to the counter to place my order, then when you finally try to order it seems like none of the workers know how to work the register so that’s another 5 mins. wasted… then you get over to the salsa bar & it’s always nasty & empty… smh, i always end up getting a refund because i come in for a meal not to be in there like i’m doing a shift. they need someone to get in there & properly train these people & they have the nerve to want to raise minimum wage, for what terrible service… this is about the 4th time this has happened & i’m never going there again & will be encouraging others not patronize this place!!!

this location is the worse i ever been to i have no idea why it took them about 45 mins in drive thur for me to order it was like 10pm i know its late and they close at 11pm but it was like 9 cars in front of me really it shouldnt take that long for them to get the orders out thats why its a drive thur faster service and then to top it off i went to the window and ask for sauces when i gave the guy money to pay for my food and he gave me my bag with no sauce in the there and he ask me if everthing was ok are you serious i dont know if it was his first day but he was teriible i wouldnt come back to this location no thanks..

Oh my gosh! I tried to take a picture of what I saw but my phone was dying. Anyways, waiting in the drive thru line just before getting to the window I saw a bug on the wall alongside the lane. As I got closer, I noticed it was a roach. What was EXTREMELY unusual about this roach was it was spinning it’s head on the brick wall. Then, it would go over the wall towards the street. I thought it was leaving, I was mistaken. That sucker came back and again did head spins. I don’t know about eating at this location after that, I am so glad I just got a soda. I am even a little iffy about this soda…

This is by far one of the worst El Pollo Loco’s I have been to, the service is bad and the restaurant is nasty and it doesn’t seem like the managers even care. They have no pride in the service they give. The drive thru line is always way to long and the wait time even longer.

Just a quick note to say THANKYOU to Karmel. I was in the restaurant today with my 12 year old daughter. While we were wating, my daughter went to the side to look at the menu to decide what she wanted to eat. The ‘gentleman’ that was in front of me at register started acting… strange. He turned to me and told me to back up because he doesn’t like broads that play games. He then went back to the register and told the cashier, Mayra, that he doesn’t like to play games and all these broads better back up. I told my daughter to come by me. He turned to her and told her to back up because he doesn’t play games with kids either. Mayra motioned for the guard and next thing I know, a guard and TWO policemen appeared! They handled the situation quickly. When I looked at my daughter, I noticed that she was crying. I held her and told her that everything would be ok. When we went to get our drinks, Karmel came over to apologize and to make sure my daughter was ok. I was pleasantly surprised by this action. Thank you Karmel for noticing my daughter’s tears and making sure she was ok.

I thought I would give this location another chance, I was sadly mistaken. The Chicken Tostada Salad was horrible. Little effort and no food presentation. I wish I could get my hard earned dollars back. Also, this location has a problem with homeless people and I would never eat in the dining area because it is not clean, especially the counter where the salsa and other condiments are. The service was nice, but after that it’s all downhill.

Went to eat here after Christmas shopping at the mall was craving a salad with chicken when the cashier took my order I pointed out the salad I wanted to her n she look at me with a blank stare like if I was asking for something that wasn’t on the menu so she had to ask her manager for help after my order I received my salad witch I paid extra 2.79 for chicken on it I was really disappointed with the amount of chicken after complaining to the cashier that the amount of chicken I received was too lil she told the manager the manager was very unprofessional gave me a nasty look like if it bother her that I had complained it really bother me because I work in the restaurant industry and I was always taught that customers are always right even when ther wrong it may bother u about what ther complaining but u should nvr displease ur customer always keep them happy and make them wanna come back after my experience at this pollo loco location i would not pay a visit here evr again !!!

I work on Crenshaw and Vernon and there are very little food places in walking distance so this has been my go to quick lunch spot. The food is your typical El Pollo Loco food. Mediocre. What’s horrible is the people that frequent this place. I’ve been harassed numerous times by other customers while the workers just turn their head and ignore it. If you must eat here, use the drive thru!
