I stumbled in here one day after going to the farmers market. It was hot, and their was no AC, but eff it, I was hungry. This place is my favorite in the NELA area. It is not on Fig, which explains the lack of reviews. It is off the beaten path and most people frequently pass by it on the way to numerous other locales, but it rewards you for stopping by and giving it a try. Everything is fresh, the prices are cheap, and it is a hole in the wall. Be patient, as it takes them a bit to get your food ready. Their food is done estilo D.F. The red sauce is awesome and has taste to complement the heat. Everything is cheap, but in good sized portions. I love their huaraches, burritos, and tacos. I love tacos as much as chilaquiles. They are life’s bite sized bits of deliciousness wrapped in teeny-tiny tortillas. 85 cent tacos. Take that fakexican Taco Bell and The Crazy Chicken! 3.85 for a burrito! 4.25 for a huarache which is huge! They also have desserts which I will try one day.
