I tried this place today. A coworker had stumbled on it last week. So a few of us decided to try it. We order their chicken and carne asada burrito and I had their combo plate #19 cheese enchilada and beef tamale with all rice no beans. Not bad for $ 7. Every order came with chips and salsa. They were a but stingy on the salsa so make sure you ask for extras. They delivered as promised and on time! Every order just simply satisfying! Will definitely order again! Muy bueno.

Ordered three chicken tacos, a horchata, and the super deluxe burrito. I was not a huge fan of the burrito or the horchata but the tacos were good. If I ever need a qick fix for some tacos I know where to come.

The price is right and the food is incredible. Try the breakfast burrito, you’ll thank me for it. Only reason for minus a star from 5, is that it is a little out of the way and the burrito is dripping in grease. But overall I think the 5 years I took off my life for that thing were worth it ;)

I always passed this place on my way to hollywood and figured might as well stop and try it… I had the super burrito which was awesome! Love it. my girlfriend had some taquitos which she said were great as well. Service was great didn’t wait long at all. and the lady who help us even stayed and joked with us for a bit while our food was getting made… all for all great place to stop and eat(:

I came here with two friends who are from around this area. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious and non pricy their food was. Great service and cute little Area. I am still longing for the burrito I had here. If you’re in the area don’t miss out on this place.

Eek… Wanted to come to this restaurant for so long and when I finally made it happen it was horrible… The red chili burrito was bland and the beef looked like left over scraps. I was really surprised that nothing tasted good. Not the burrito, the beans or even the rice. I really can’t say any more other than don’t waste your money or swing by 7⁄11 and throw one of those cold burritos in the microwave for two minutes. It’s way better than El Burrito Jr.

I ate this place after running a race a couple months ago, starving, where basically any food entering my system would be considered THEBESTTHING I’VEEVEREATEN. Unfortunately, even based on those merits, this place disappointed me greatly. I ordered their wet carnitas burrito, which was pretty tasty, but the red sauce really overpowered the flavor of the entire thing. It basically just tasted like eating a tortilla covered in sauce, not much insides to be enjoyed. Their unlimited chips and salsa were definitely great, which isn’t saying much — they were your standard Mexican restaurant chips and salsa, although the salsa did have a nice heat to it that I enjoyed. Overall, this place couldn’t even get my 5 out of 5 star rating when I was at my hungriest, which is saying a lot. If I don’t absolutely love a meal in that starving state, I definitely don’t think I would enjoy it on a regular afternoon, either. Good, cheap food, but not worth it unless you’re in the area and absolutely need to eat a burrito.

We have been looking for an AUTHENTIC mexican place near our office in MM, we get tired of baja and chipotle and sometimes want real tacos and down home classics. This place looked promising for 2 reasons… looked like a hole in the wall… and no menu, just the regulars… So first the Good… They Deliver! with only a $ 15 minimum :) The salsa they give you with chips is pretty good. The Horchata is not too sweet, just right. The Bad: The food is not Authentic… it’s americanized Mexican with heavy condiments and spices and sauces that seem canned. :( My friend ordered a Carne Asada Burrito, and said the Asada had an off taste… almost burned but not in a good charbroiled way. She also said it had a weird texture too… like chewy. she said no to seconds. I had the Chicken Enchilada plate… The chicken was stringy and tasted like it was overcooked in a crockpot or steamer too long(but some how had good flavor so i was confused)? So I tried the rice, which had no flavor at all, so I moved on to the beans… and they tasted Burnt… ugh… the worst thing you can do to beans is burn them… As for the Tamales were either frozen, or really really old hard, and smothered in the BO smelling sauce… they were beef… The ugly: When we opened my enchiladas, on of my coworkers thought someone had BO… Not appetizing… i think it was the overuse of Cumin… Not good. Overall: Gross… Baja and Chipotle are more authentic and appealing…

Wow. Never knew you could screw up mexican. El burrito Jr does it very well. If there was a 5 for screwing up this would be it. This was the first time i stopped eating my dinner and threw it away. It was that bad in terms of flavor and quality.

There are many El Burritos in town, and this one is the best(that’s a bold statement to make in Los Angeles, and I stand by it). The food is delicious, it’s ridiculously inexpensive, and the service is outstanding. Classic mexican dishes, served up with authentic flavor and all made right in front of your eyes. Their pastor tacos are THEBEST. Every place seems to have its own pastor recipe, and whatever the secret ingredient here is, I hope they keep it well guarded. It’s not high-falutin’ fancy mexican food, but it’s a great dive corner taco joint — what were you expecting, the Ritz? If your idea of mexican food is Chi-Chis or El Torito, you may want to stay home.(if that’s the case, why are you living in Los Angeles?) Parking in their lot can be rough, so just drive around the corner and park for free on the street. Oh, and one final word: IT’S CASHONLYHERE. Yay, El Burrito, jr.

Just another spot I fly by on my way to work every day. You can easily blink and miss this place. I have never felt my life was ever in danger until I attempted to pull into this parking lot. The lot probably can accommodate about three cars. Alright, I’ve lied. Maybe five cars, and that includes one handicap space. The menu is pretty substantial in here. As you enter the entire kitchen area is exposed at the order window. I was very pleased at the cleanliness in this restaurant. Two gentleman were running this operation on my visit, and they were multitasking. I really digged the efficiency. I ordered the carnitas burrito with a fountain drink. I sat down with plenty of choices in seating. i was met with a basket of fresh chips and house salsa. It was a nice treat before my meal. The burrito was excellent. It had pinto beans and rice with some cilantro. Refills were $ 0.50. One of the two guys checked up on me frequently to ask if I needed anything else. The service alone earned them one star. I will definitely go again and try the enchiladas.
