when it comes down to tattoos eddy is the shit im not joking I was in need of a cover up and he hooked it up sick, I thought I was going to be there forever .nope he was done in like an hour and forty minutes. and it was bad as f**k. I almost got emotional because the cover up looked so much better than what was there. I was happy it looked beautiful and could wear a tank top with pride.

I’ve been getting tattooed by Eddy since he was at Tattoo City in the early ‘90s. He is great to work with. He is very positive, and he is humble. If you have an idea of what you would like to have tattooed, Eddy can take off with it, and make it something better than what you could have imagined. Also, he is super fast!

I started getting tattooed by Eddy D in ’95 — all freehand — and no one else has tattooed me since. They only problem for noobs is that he doesn’t really take on new clients unless you have a current client set you up and it’s a piece that will inspire him. If you get past that, his rate is $ 200.00 bucks an hour with a two hour minimum. Worth every penny.

Friendly and easy to work with he blasted on a Japanese mask that gets «oooooosssssss and aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh» every time I show it!

If you are looking for a shop with flash and want to pick something off the wall say like a really kewl barbwire arm band or the Tasmanian devil then go elsewhere, cause Eddy is wayyyyyyyy beyond that. But if you’re looking for a kick ass piece of original art by one of the best in the business then look no further.
He works privately by appointment only these days and he’s not cheap. But as with most things in life you really get what you pay for and the guy is fast and usually takes half the time of what others would take.
In my opinion, Eddy is the one of the elite in this business! No ifs, no ands, no buts!!! And on top of being a great, versatile, fast, tattooist he’s an awesome person as well. The guy rocks man!

Eddy Deutsche did my tattoos. If anything ever happened to him, I’d die with just these tattoos on me… I won’t let anyone else work on me. His artistry, speed, and quality of work is amazing.
His knowledge of the art of tattooing is extensive and it’s obvious that he’s passionate about his tattooing. You can choose art from his huge collection of original designs, other artists’ works, or a concept of what you might want, and he’s very easy to work with, excited to do new projects. I’m convinced he won’t waste his time and talent on a ladybug or rosebud tat.
Word of advice: bring your own iPod if you want to tune out… he only had one R&B CD in his jukebox, and I listened to it over & over for 6 hours. :)
