I walked in with big hopes, sadly I left disappointed. As soon as I got there I was greeted by a slouchy guy behind the counter on his cellphone. I asked him for a condition treatment, a trim and a flat iron. He told me that someone would be with me shortly and to have a seat. I sat in the least dirty chair, which isn’t saying a lot, believe me. I waited and then was told to go to the wash bowl by this women with bleach in her hair. «Surely» I thought «surely this woman isn’t doing my hair, she was. She started off by wrapping a filthy bleach covered towel around my neck and then scolding my scalp with hot water and soap that smelled like ass. Then I asked her if this was a conditioning treatment or a wash and she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. That was only the begging. She asked me to stand up, covered in water from a terrible hair wash I walked to her chair and told her what I wanted. She kept asking me if I wanted layers and I said no because I had a feeling she wasn’t very experienced. As she cut inches and inches of my hair I noticed she was doing layers and asked her to stop. Then she got a phone call, answered it and continued to put layers in my hair. I had given up, I was ready to walk out. Once she was done with her little chat she dried my hair like a two year old and left it slightly damp. Then surprise surprise, her professionalism continued to disappoint. The bleach in her hair had hardened and she had one of the other girls working wash it out. She took her time then walked back over and exchanged no apology. She covered my hair with heat protectant, instead of doing each layer, and fried my newly cut hair. I was extremely disappointed and thought «hey I guess you get what you pay for» wrong. I got to the register and she charged me 40 freaking dollars for a terrible wash, blowdry and style. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be returning and I hope people read this review and take the warning. This place needs to be inspected and shut down.

This is a very nice salon right in the center of Plaza del Sol shopping center. It’s spacious and we’ll lit. They have an ample waiting area and the staff is very friendly. I came in with my friend to have a girl’s day out and get pampared. I had my hair colored and highlighted with Erika and my friend had a trim and a manicure done with two other ladies. I was highly impressed with her mani. The young girl who did her nails was quick and very detailed she kept a light conversation and made my friend feel welcomed. Erika has a soft hand, I hardly felt her touch my head and her work came out beautifully. She was however being guided by the owner, great work either way. I could not be happier. The waxing room was also spacious and very clean and my face never looked better. I’ll definitely tell all my girls in the valley to come to this salon for their beauty and pampering needs.
