I got my hair done by Candice aka CeCe there and she was great! Very friendly and professional and my hair turned out Amazing! She did my hair for my Wedding and any other occasions I have! I literally will not let anyone else do my hair lol she is really that good! It’s hard to find someone who can do your hair this good. This place is amazing! I’ve always got my hair done in NYC but this was my first time getting my hair done in LA. And this hair salon made me feel great and my hair looks amazing! I am a professional dancer and I’m always on the go! So when I can find a hair stylist/​salon that accommodates my needs in such a short time span I am pleased and extremely satisfied! The guy who did my hair name is Andre and he’s friggin awesome! If I could give him 10 stars I would because he’s amazing! I’m natural and it’s hard to find a hair stylist that can do my hair without any complaints! I got my hair styled with the wand so I can have that WOW affect on stage performing next to August Alsina for the Usher Tour. Thanks Again Andre!

So I just went to this Salon and my hair was done by Mr. Anthony, I was looking for a straightening treatment because I have very thick and curly hair, p. s. keep in mind I’m a Caucasian male. Mr. Anthony went above and beyond what he had to do. It was the BEST experience I’ve ever had at any salon. Pure professionalism at this place, and also a great looking place. This is the new spot for me, I will continue to go here!

I have been going to this salon since 1998 and I have been a loyal customer since then. Keith Walker has been my hair dresser for more than seven years and I have been consistently pleased with his talent and professionalism. Keith has always kept my hair looking wonderful and healthy; he doesn’t keep you in the salon all day; he has a positive attitude and awesome sense of humor; his hours are flexible and his prices are fair. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for the whole package in a hair dresser.

I had an emergency recently and needed to get my hair done at the crack of dawn to make an early morning flight. Keith had me in and out in less than 90 minutes and had me looking like a star on the way to the airport. I first met Keith because of another stylist’s recommendation that if I wanted to grow my hair, that I see him. She was right!!! Not only if he flexible, fast, and reliable, but he takes excellent care with hair, uses the best products, and he’s awesome!!! Not to mention, I have hard to match hair color and he manages to get it right every single time. Best hair discovery in LA!!!

I actually met Keith by noticing one of his client’s hair, in the grocery store. Upon approaching her, she happily gave me Keith’s number and this was over two years ago. Wow, did I score! I have short hair because low-​maintenance suits my busy lifestyle.
Keith is an absolutely wonderful hair stylist and (magician for my hair!). More importantly, he does not stack clients and is fast, efficient and super creative.
He takes the time to get to know clients and he tailors cuts to the individual, taking into account features, hair texture, personal style and preferences.
Also, Keith has fantastic EARLY or LATE appointments and that really helps when juggling a beauty routine. His personality is very respectful, kind and positive. I love the way that he handles my hair!
Long hair or short hair, Keith is nothing short of perfection and fabulous!

Absolutely LOOOVE this salon! I used to go to a traditional barber to get a taper and facial line up with an occasional full trim. I have curly hair that can be picked out into an Afro but as soon as water hits it again it goes back to it’s curly q’s. to be blunt, it’s what people would call «good hair.» Anywho, I was referred to this salon to get cut by the stylist Tatum. Once I tried her back in December 2012 we instantly had great conversation finding out that we’re both from Seattle and now in LA. She asked me what I wanted and I told her just a taper and maybe see if I need a little taken off. She knew exactly what to do with the the top by my taking too much off and leaving it as is, and she told me I have really beautiful hair and I take care of it well, very healthy curls. She explained to me that she’s used to styling/​cutting hair for people that have my type of hair texture because in Seattle a lot of people are ethnically mixed and such. Next thing I know, she sprays my hair with some water (as water helps my curls stay defined, in fact all I do for styling is wet it in the shower and put a leave-​in conditioner in it) and starts styling my hair checking for split ends and any areas that are longer and out f place for the shape of my taper and she’s using barber scissors to trim those areas as she elongates my curls checking to make them as even as possible. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I was sold! For a guy with hair like mine I think it’s best I have been going to Tatum because I get the mixture of a traditional barber and a hair stylist which I never knew I needed until I first went to her. It’s now August 2013 and have been going to her ever since. I would advise making appointments versus being a walk in because she does get very busy especially on weekends due to being in high demand since she’s GREAT! She also does my deep condition once a month and I just tip her a little extra for doing that for me. Everyone else that works in the salon is very friendly and amiable and they always have good music playing as a background sound not a foreground sound where u have to yell to talk. They have my favorite candy at the front too – TOOTSIE ROLLS! Lol and no matter what hair type you have Tatum is the one to go to, she has clients of all types and knows exactly what to do even if you don’t. And she really gets your faces clean fellas!

I had not had my hair done in 10 years! I cried in the chair about cutting it and Andre was so patient and understanding! He gave me a nice clean cut that took off all the damaged ends and left it shiny! I don’t trust many stylists with scissors in their hands, but he did a great job! He was recommended to me by my friend and Hip Hop N Heels instructor whose hair is always on point, even through treacherous workouts. I feel my hair is in good hands!

I love this Salon! Andre is AMAZING! I travel the world, but I figure out how to get to Andre before ANY trip I take. I have short hair and I have been SABOTAGED by others before. I have NEVER had that problem here. However, if Andre was out of town, I would feel safe letting Jackie or the other stylists do my hair. This is definitely the place to come!

PS. I work out 7 days a week and sweat my hair out DAILY! But the way Andre cut my hair, I don’t have a problem! I can be ready for an audition within an hour after having my hair drenched from the gym.

I made an appointment with Karla through schedule city for an ombré a week in advance. I called her the day before my appointment to confirm (because she hadn’t) and go over what I wanted. During the call she tells me that she likes to have a consult with her clients prior to their appointment. That’s fine, but why are you telling me this the day before my appointment when i booked it a week in advance? The night before my appointment?! And I have to call you to get this information? Not acceptable. On top of all of that she was kind of rude and had an attitude… like the girl got really defensive when I said I thought I found her on Instagram… my bad it was ScheduleCity… because I guess that makes a difference. So the next day I did show up about 15 minutes late due to babysitter issues, but she saw me for a consult and said we would reschedule. Fine. Not a problem considering I was a little late. But when I contacted her to reschedule like she asked, I never received a response. Ever. I’m huge on customer service and didn’t receive anything remotely close. If I could give this girl no stars I would. I can’t speak on the other stylists… probably should have booked with one of them.

A few months ago, I decided I wanted a big chop. I had never cut my hair drastically before and was really nervous so I did it in stages. I found Keisha on Unilocal from other reviews (at another salon) and just by talking to her, I could tell she was very knowledgeable, which made me feel comfortable. The first haircut was from mid-​back to mid-​neck. It was phenomenal! I got so many compliments on the style, strangers were coming up to me!
A couple of weeks ago I was ready to go shorter (fingers crossed that it would just as well!). However, I was torn between a pic of Keri Hilson (Love Falls Down video) or Anne Hathaway (the wig she wore from One Day). I chickened out and settled on Keri HIlson cause it had more length — Keisha perfected the haircut again! The next day, i received a lot of compliments and since it was a great haircut, I was mostly happy. However, it was bugging me that I didn’t chose the shorter cut. I called Keisha and told her I wanted to actually go much shorter and she fit me in the next day!
The third haircut was PERFECTION. Do you know that feeling you get when you know you look your best? 2 weeks later and I still feel it :)) Keisha did not charge me any $$ for the last cut (but of course I tipped her! She went above and beyond my expectations).
My friends and coworkers and still complimenting the cut 2 weeks later! Thanks Keisha! :)
fyi — I’m mixed and had started to grow out my relaxer before the first cut. Keisha had no problem handling the 2 different textures.

I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Randall. He was very professional and really took his time with my consultation. We discussed all my possible options and he came up with a solution no other hair colorist has ever suggested to me! It worked and I have had so many compliments on my hair color. He really listens and cares about the results.

In short: Hot damn.
Randall really knows what he’s doing. I have very long naturally curly, strawberry blonde hair and he really knows how to color me a NATURAL red and cut my curls. He took it an extra step to SET my hair– classic move. It stayed not just all night but DAYS later than a blowout. Parking can be tricky but they will tell you where to go.

I LOVE this salon! I go to Dante and he is great! They give great service. They give you coffee and tea so you feel right at home. I recommend this place 100%!

This is the spot to get the mane of the day! Jazz has done my hair and rocks on so may levels, stay on her ass though she is fabulous and may forget to love you. Just reminder her and she will work her magic!
